Instead of a traditional opening act, Madonna selected RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 8 champion Bob the Drag Queen. Despite previous health setbacks, including knee and hip injuries that led to show cancellations during her Madame X Tour in 2019-2020, Madonna remains resilient. The ongoing pandemic presented further challenges, but Madonna underwent knee surgery in April 2020, followed by hip surgery in November 2020, along with regenerative treatment for “missing cartilage.” Looking ahead, Madonna plans to direct her Universal Pictures biopic titled “Little Sparrow,” featuring Julia Garner.
