Hunt in Her 30s
In the 90s, Hunt became a household name when she took on the role of Jamie Buchman on the beloved TV sitcom, “Mad About You.” Over the show’s seven seasons (1992-99,) she won four consecutive Emmy Awards from 1996-99.

Hunt’s small-screen success also transitioned to the big screen in the late 1990s when she starred opposite Bill Paxton in the 1996 summer blockbuster “Twister,” one of the top-grossing movies of the year.

On plastic surgery, she said, “I would love it if nobody knew how old I am, but those days are gone. Plastic surgery? I’m not going to say never, but I don’t think so. I think I may have had enough needles poking me when I had my fertility treatment to last a lifetime. But you never know.”

As she aged, Hunt shifted her focus from maintaining her youth to staying active by choice. “I had my run in the ‘80s about being really worried about how I looked. Everybody was more fit, or more thin, and I maxed out on worrying about it,” she admitted.

“I was taking these exercise classes called ‘abs, thighs, and buns,’ and I was like, ‘I’m going to be dead one day — do I really want to give up an hour in this class?’” she revealed.
In October 2019, the award-winning veteran star was involved in a car accident when the SUV she was in flipped over during a crash in Los Angeles.
As the sole passenger in the back of the SUV, she was taken to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Beverly Hills after complaining of pain. Hunt was in stable condition and did not suffer severe injuries.
By the following month, Hunt was back at work and reflected on the accident during an interview with friend and co-star, Paul Reiser. “It was scary,” Hunt shared. “I’m grateful to be here with my friend.” She later posted a photo with Reiser and revealed that she was back at work.
