Shannen Doherty, who was 53 years old when she died on July 13, is deeply mourned by the entertainment business and admirers worldwide. Enjoying a tranquil evening in Malibu, California, Shannen was spotted in her last public appearance with her mother, Rosa Elizabeth Doherty, and her old friend, Chris Cortazzo. The three of them had just finished their meals at Kristy’s waterfront restaurant, a tranquil location with beautiful views.

Photographs showed how close they were, with Chris standing protectively between Shannen and her mom. They sported denim and a variety of tops: Rosa and Chris sported black, while Shannen sported a chic gray cardigan.

The remarkable journey of Shannen, who inspired many, came to an end when her publicist confirmed her death. I regret to inform you of the passing of Shannen Doherty, the actress. According to Leslie Sloane, her long fight with cancer came to an end on Saturday, July 13, after many years of treatment.

The loss of Shannen hit Chris very hard. Referring to her as his “beloved friend and heart,” he uploaded an emotional video replete with recollections of their time together.

The actress Shannen, who is well-known for her performance on “Beverly Hills 90210,” received her breast cancer diagnosis in 2015. She recounted how her dog, Bowie, seemed to have a sixth sense regarding her health problems; she would fixate on sniffing her right side, the area where the cancer was ultimately found.

Shannen inherited a strong will from her mother Rosa, who died of a brain aneurysm when she was eight years old. According to Shannen, her strengths stem from her upbringing, which instilled in her the values of tenacity and refusal to give up.

As Shannen battled her health issues, she found strength in her family and friends, particularly her mother. The strong relationships that kept Shannen grounded and motivated were highlighted when she expressed great gratitude to her brother, his children, and her pets.

Those fighting cancer found inspiration in Shannen’s bravery and honesty. Beyond her iconic film performances, she has left behind an enduring monument to love, perseverance, and the value of savoring time with those we care about.

The iconic singer’s talents have transcended decades and styles; she’s been a fixture at the top of the entertainment industry since almost any of us can remember.

Yet even one so legendary as she is forced to face up to her critics. As per reports, there’s been a few of them active of late, giving her a hard time about her looks – yes, this despite the fact she’s approaching her eighties.

Dolly Parton, 77, is a household name in both country music and the celebrity sphere.

The Tennessee native has become nothing short of a legend and, despite performing and singing pretty much her entire life, she has loved to entertain her legions of fans.

Dolly Parton, in a recent interview with Pollystar, explained that she would not be touring anymore. She explained:

“I’ll do special shows here and there, now and then. Maybe do a long weekend of shows, or just a few shows at a festival. But I have no intention of going on a full-blown tour anymore.”

Dolly Parton, who managed to reach the very top of world entertainment after growing up in poverty in the Appalachian Mountains, will certainly be missed on the stage.

Yet while her popularity is undeniable, there remain those who criticize her for the way she looks.

In fact, her appearance appears to have been a sticking point almost since her career started. In the past, Dolly’s even recalled people telling her to ditch her signature look if she ever wanted a real career.

“The main advice that people want to give me was to change my look – to go simpler with my hair and the way that I dress,” she explained,

“Not to look so cheap, nobody was ever going to take me seriously, they would say.”

Over the years, the mean comments haven’t gone away. If anything, some people feel even more vindicated in labeling Dolly in ways that seem wholly unfair.

One Twitter user wrote: “Dolly Parton is One ugly lady,” while another said: “Dolly Parton is so ugly, but she got nice breasts.”

Through all the unkindness and vitriol from folks online, though, Dolly remains upbeat in her defiance. She’s perfectly comfortable with her body and looks, and isn’t about to change for anyone.

“It costs a lot of money to look this cheap,” she once famously said.

As for husband, the country icon has revealed in the past that he loves her no matter what.

“He doesn’t care if I’m fat,” said Parton.

“He was never turned off. He’s fool enough to think I’m the sexiest, prettiest woman in the world.”

Perhaps unsurprisingly, Dolly remains hungry for success and fresh challenges. As per Rolling Stone, she’s ready to now embrace her 2022 entry into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, and wants to honor it by way of delivering an album that some might consider to be outside of her wheelhouse.

Fans were delighted last year when it became apparent that Dolly Parton was in consideration for a place in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame after her stellar career.

Yet, if sources are to be believed, the superstar herself was initially reluctant to be in the conversation for the honor. The Jolene singer was said to be of the opinion that since her career consists mostly of country music, others were perhaps more suited to finding their way into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

In the end, however, the people spoke, and voters decided that Dolly did belong there. In November, she was inducted into the Hall of Fame, and immediately set about trying to ensure that her selection was justified.

I don’t care what anyone says, I think Dolly Parton is so talented!

When Counting On aired on TLC, fans looked forward to a Duggar courtship or pregnancy announcement a few times each season. Things have died down a bit in recent years since the network canceled the reality show in 2021. Many of Michelle and Jim Bob’s 19 kids, however, have remained active on social media to update followers on major life events.

Jason Duggar, the 12th-born of the siblings, recently shared an Instagram update that made fans do a double-take. Photos of the 24-year-old not abiding by the side-hug-only Duggar rules of physical touch with folks of the opposite sex prompted followers to speculate Jason soft-launched a courtship or perhaps even an engagement. But who is the mystery woman?

These stories are based on posts found on Reddit. Reddit is a user-generated social news aggregation, web content rating, and discussion website where registered members submit content to the site and can up- or down-vote the content. The accuracy and authenticity of each story cannot be confirmed by our staff.

Jason Duggar seemingly soft-launched a courtship with an unidentified woman.

Jason posted on Instagram on May 29 to seemingly soft-launch his courtship with a mystery woman. He captioned his update, simply writing, “🤍.” In the photos, Jason and his girlfriend twirled on the beach, stood in shallow water, and posed with her head on his shoulder while looking in the distance.

None of the shots, however, offered a proper glimpse at the young lady’s face.

In the comments, fans speculated on who Jason’s girlfriend might be.

Jason’s family members, friends, and fans reacted to the post in the comments, and folks immediately noticed a theme.

One Instagram user wrote, “The fact that Bates sisters are commenting with 😍 eyes makes me think it’s a Bates sister.”

Indeed, many members of the Bates family — who have been close friends with the Duggars for years — appeared in the comments. Lawson Bates posted, “Happy for ya bro!” Zach and Whitey Bates shared two heart-eyed emoji faces, and Nathan Bates’ wife, Esther, posted three of the same.

Jason’s sister-in-law, Hannah Duggar (Jeremiah’s wife), commented, “Awww 😍.”

Yet another Instagram user wondered, “Is this Emma Langdon?”

Which Bates daughter could Jason be courting?

A quick look at the eligible Bates daughters reveals that Addallee Bates, 18, would be the most likely in the family to be courting Jason.

“This would be pretty Epic if it’s Addallee,” one Instagram user wrote. “I hate to guess wrong, but maybe y’all want people to guess? lol. Congrats though!

Another followed disagreed, commenting, “Addie looks nothing like this girl wtf ppl lmao.”

Folks on Reddit also tried to solve the mystery, and some wondered if Jason actually posted an engagement announcement.

In the r/DuggarsSnark subReddit, Reddit users wondered if Jason’s post signified that he was either engaged or already married.

One person declared, “Looks like engagement photos! White dress + beach = there’s a ring.”

Another fan agreed, writing, “I bet they’re engaged! Why else would there be a full frontal hug?”

“Hell, maybe these are wedding photos,” someone else commented.

“I think they are honeymoon photos,” yet another Reddit user shared. “Someone above pointed out that it looks like a ring has been photoshopped out. (On her hand).”

Meanwhile, someone else exclaimed, “They are holding hands! They MUST be engaged!”

Before Jason, Jedidiah was the most recent Duggar sibling to get married.

Perhaps fans/haters are so worked up over Jason’s latest post because Michelle and Jim Bob’s kids haven’t revealed a courtship or engagement in quite some time. The most recent Duggar sibling to say “I do” was when Jeremiah and Hannah married in March 2022, just three months after they announced they were engaged. The couple has since welcomed two children, Brynley (December 2022) and Brielle (February 2024).

Thus far, Jason has not shared the woman’s identity or his relationship status. But we’ll keep you updated when he does!

Actor Jonathan Tucker helped rescue a neighbor’s family in Los Angeles’ Hancock Park neighborhood on June 2 during an attempted home invasion that was confirmed by Los Angeles Times.

The suspect had entered the residence but later fled, an LAPD representative said on June 4. Officers who had been alerted to a “hot prowl” apprehended a man in his 30s. That man was taken into custody without incident.

Tucker’s representative confirmed the Westworld actor’s involvement but said the actor was not “engaging on the interview front.”

Tucker called 911 around 6:20 p.m. after he noticed someone banging on doors in his neighborhood, police told Los Angeles Magazine.

Shortly after, the 42-year-old City on a Hill veteran saw that a neighbor’s front door was open and burst into action. In video obtained by KTLA, screams could be heard coming from inside after the suspect entered but before Tucker’s arrival. The actor, barefoot and carrying a bag he said was filled with protective equipment, went into the home right after the homeowner, who told the station that he had been out but came home quickly after getting a phone notification.

Tucker carried a young girl out of the house, reportedly handing her to his wife, Tara. He then went back inside and found the girl’s mother and an infant, who both appeared distressed.

LAPD appeared at the scene within minutes of Tucker’s call, KTLA said.

The homeowner, who declined to be identified on camera, was grateful for Tucker’s response. “He took action,” the homeowner told the station.

He called the incident a “traumatizing experience.” No damage was done, the homeowner said.

Tucker, who played Jay Kulina for three seasons on the series Kingdom, declined to talk on camera but can be heard off-camera in the KTLA video shouting thanks to the officers who responded, setting off a small round of applause from people who had watched events unfold.

“If you want a quote, call the LAPD because those guys are the real heroes. They put their lives on the line every day multiple times a day,” he told Los Angeles Magazine. “They responded within minutes, while I was still on the phone with a 911 dispatcher. It was an extraordinary response.”

Pressured by Hollywood and demanding fans who impose impossible standards of perfection, many celebrities are relentlessly pursuing youth in the hope of achieving eternal beauty.

Defying the expectations of others, Helen Hunt is elegantly embracing the imperfections of aging, and she looks stunning!

Having been on television shows since childhood, Helen Hunt grew up on screen with millions of fans watching her transformation from a fresh-faced girl to the accomplished 59-year-old she is today. The passage of years is evident on her face, adding to her natural beauty.

Hunt began her acting career at the tender age of 11. She got her big break in “The Swiss Family Robinson,” a TV series that aired from 1975 to 1976, centered around a shipwrecked family stranded on a volcanic island. In the show, she portrayed Helga Wagner, a young girl from the same shipwreck, who was taken in by the Robinsons.

She later appeared as the daughter of Murray Slaughter (played by Gavin McLeod) on “The Mary Tyler Moore Show,” in an episode of “The Bionic Woman” alongside Lindsay Wagner, and in “Facts of Life.” Her first major movie role was in “Rollercoaster” (1977), where she acted alongside Hollywood legends Henry Fonda and George Segal.

The following decade catapulted her to stardom with roles in iconic 80s films such as “Girls Just Want to Have Fun” (1985), alongside another emerging star, Sarah Jessica Parker, “Project X” (1987) with Matthew Broderick, and “Next of Kin” (1989) with the late Patrick Swayze, and Ben Stiller in one of his earlier roles.

In the 1990s, Hunt became a household name with her breakthrough TV performance in the popular comedy series “Mad About You,” where she starred alongside Paul Reiser, who later appeared in the Netflix series “Stranger Things.”

She won four consecutive Emmy Awards and three Golden Globes for her comedic portrayal of one half of a newlywed couple. She even directed some episodes, including the series finale in 1999.

In an interview with People, Hunt talked about her daughter and Reiser, saying, “…My daughter loves ‘Stranger Things,’ so now when he calls, she’s excited. She’s never seen an episode of ‘Mad About You,’ but she’s super psyched about ‘Stranger Things!’”. Hunt has one daughter, born in 2004, with Matthew Carnahan, her partner of 16 years.

Hunt is also known for her role as a storm chaser in the adrenaline-fueled movie “Twister” (1996), her Academy Award-winning performance in “As Good as It Gets” (1997), alongside Hollywood legend Jack Nicholson, and appearances in “Cast Away” (2000) and “What Women Want.”

In 2021, she revealed that she was working on a “Twister” reboot with a diverse cast of storm chasers from historically Black colleges and universities (HBCUs), but the project was rejected.

“I tried to get it made,” Hunt said in 2021. “I was going to direct it… We could barely get a meeting, and this is in June of 2020 when it was all about diversity. It would have been so cool.”

Universal Pictures is set to release “Twisters” without Hunt in July 2024.

Throughout the years, Hunt, who has amassed numerous awards and nominations, has been a fixture in Hollywood culture with her timeless performances and beauty.

As one of the most recognizable faces in Hollywood, a face that has matured gracefully over the years, she has recently been the subject of many conversations.

After more than a year since Robin William’s tragic death, the late actor’s wife, Susan Schneider Williams is ready to open up about the details surrounding her husband’s death. In an exclusive interview with ABC news, Susan surprises the public with the fact that Robin’s depression was only one symptom of a much bigger underlying condition.

Married on October 22nd, 2011, Susan describes her marriage with Robin as a very happy and fulfilling one. “It’s the best love I’ve ever dreamed of… a love would be based on just honor, love, respect,” she says.

Susan vulnerably shares the moments she realized she had lost Robin. “Call me when he’s up”, Susan recalls telling her assistant after leaving their home in the morning. “And then she sent me a text and said ‘He’s not up yet, what should I do?’, and I said ‘Wake him!’ and then she called me back…. that twenty-minute car ride- I just screamed the whole way.”

While Robin William’s death came as a complete shock to Susan, she says they had actually been going through a harrowing medical journey for some time. “We were living a nightmare,” she says.

The Real Cause of Robin Williams’ Death

In November 2013, Robin began to experience gut pain. But then, with each passing month, new symptoms began to pop up. “It was like an endless parade of symptoms”, Susan describes. She even confesses to wondering whether Robin was a hypochondriac at the time.

In May 2014, Robin was diagnosed with early stages of Parkinson’s disease. “My best friend was sinking…He was keeping it together as best as he could, but the last month he was not. It was like the dam broke.” She said throughout his medical journey, it never crossed her mind that Robin might be suicidal. However, Robin’s autopsy actually revealed that he was suffering from Lewy body dementia, a progressive brain disorder that affects 1.4 million Americans

Named after Friederich H. Lewy, who discovered abnormal protein deposits that depleted dopamine levels while conducting research of Parkinson’s, Lewy Body dementia affects both cognition and physical health; it can lead to problems with blood pressure, bladder control, temperature regulation. People with Lewy body dementia can undergo dramatic changes in behavior and emotion, suffer from hallucinations, sleep problems, memory failure, and trouble with perception.

Susan Schneider Williams: Watch Interview

Since first opening up about Robin’s condition, Susan has penned a medical essay which was published in the medical journal Neurology. In it, she shares more details about the time leading up to Robin’s death. The essay includes emotional details of their lives:

“Robin was losing his mind and he was aware of it. Can you imagine the pain he felt as he experienced himself disintegrating? And not from something he would ever know the name of or understand? Neither he nor anyone could stop it—no amount of intelligence or love could hold it back.” (3)

She hopes sharing the story of Robin’s symptoms leading up to his death will help encourage further research into Lewy body dementia (LBD) so doctors can better diagnose and treat others suffering from it.

Robin states, “Hopefully from this sharing of our experience you will be inspired to turn Robin’s suffering into something meaningful through your work and wisdom. It is my belief that when healing comes out of Robin’s experience, he will not have battled and died in vain. ”

John Goodman has been on our screens since the 1980s, but during his latest appearance, the 71-year-old, who celebrates his birthday on Tuesday, looks totally different from the man we remember.

Appearing at the Monte-Carlo Television Festival in Monaco, John looked almost unrecognizable, having shed 200 lb – but he didn’t do it via a quick fix or a fad diet, and reportedly took 16 years to drop the weight, beginning his journey in 2007, when he weighed 400 lbs.

John revealed that his weight loss required a total switch in mindset, explaining to ABC in 2017: “In the old days, I would take three months out, lose 60 or 70 pounds, and then reward myself with a six-pack or whatever and just go back to my old habits.

“This time, I wanted to do it slowly. Move, exercise. I’m getting to the age where I can’t afford to sit still anymore.”

How did John Goodman lose weight?

In his quest for a healthier life, John said he gave up drinking alcohol and hired a personal trainer, as well as following a Mediterranean-style diet, which comprises mostly of fish, olive oil, vegetables, nuts and fruit. He also tried to walk 10,000 to 12,000 steps a day.

Well aware that he needs to stick to his healthy living, John said in a 2011 chat with David Letterman: “It’s going to be an ongoing process for the rest of my life.”

Fans were impressed by John’s dedication, writing messages of praise on Twitter. “John Goodman is almost unrecognizable with his weight loss. He looks good,” one wrote, while another added: “Wow. I wouldn’t recognise him, he looks so different in the face.”

Did John Goodman use Ozempic to lose weight?

Others wondered if John has been taking weight loss drug Ozempic, which helps to reset your metabolism. It mimics the hormone produced by your digestive system in response to eating food and acts on both the brain and the digestive system to regulate how full you feel after a meal.

John has not commented on whether he’s used the controversial drug, but given his long-term approach to eating healthily and moving more, we doubt he’s opted to use it.

As the most awarded country music singer ever, a devoted wife, and mother to six children, Loretta Lynn had one heck of a journey.

Growing up in the coal-mining hills of Kentucky, she was dirt poor – and her mother reportedly used Sears catalog pages as wallpaper.

She married Oliver “Mooney” Lynn when she was only 16 andaccording to the girl herself, it took a while before she learned where babies came from …

Keep on reading to find out everything about ”the coal miner’s daughter” – and her sad, last words before she died…

Country legend Loretta Lynn was born April 14, 1932, in Butcher Hollow, Kentucky, the second oldest of eight children. Her mother loved American actress Loretta Young and decided to name her daughter after her. Loretta’s father was a coal miner who died of black lung disease at 52.

Her family were poor by anyone’s standards, and Loretta’s early life was often tough.

”The winters were cold, so my mommy glued newspapers and pages from old Sears Roebuck catalogs to the wall to help keep the cold out. We didn’t have money for wallpaper, but my mommy made that old house stay warm and beautiful,” Loretta said.

She married first husband Oliver “Doolittle” Lynn when she was just 16 years old and he was 21. Loretta was a young stay-at-home-wife, and her husband worked as a logger to provide for the family.

The family eventually decided to move from Kentucky to the logging community of Custer, Washington. It was there Loretta suddenly started getting sick in the mornings – but had no idea why. She decided to see her doctor, who in turn asked her to get undressed.

”I just pulled the sheet over my head, like an ostrich. When he was done, Doc told me I could get dressed again. After that, he put his arm around my waist and he said, ’Honey, your trouble is, you’re pregnant,” Loretta explained in her book “Loretta Lynn: Coal Miner’s Daughter”.

The news came as shock for the young and innocent Loretta, still a minor at the time. She insisted that she didn’t know what the word pregnant meant, or where babies came from.

Flickr / Nesster

“I never knew where babies came from until it happened to me,” she once famously said.

Her first son, Jack, was born in December 1949. His birth story says a lot about the circumstances in which Loretta and her family lived. Because she couldn’t afford to stay at the hospital overnight, Loretta headed back home just hours after giving birth to Jack.

After her second baby, Loretta suffered two miscarriages. Unfortunately, the second miscarriage resulted in blood poisoning, and once again, she couldn’t afford to go to the hospital. She managed to survive, but it was a close run thing.

Despite it all, Loretta continued to fall pregnant. While expecting her third child, doctors said Loretta needed a Cesarean section. But there was a problem – she needed her husband’s signature to go through with the procedure.

Wikipedia Commons / Gene Pugh

Incredibly, since she was still a minor, she couldn’t sign her own consent form. This became a major problem as nobody could get a hold of her husband, Doolittle; he was out working in the woods. After being at the hospital for days, Loretta finally delivered her baby the natural way, and everything went fine.

“Doo called in from some logging camp and they kept teasing him. First they said it was a boy, then a girl, then a boy again. But it was a boy, and we named him Ernest Ray,” Loretta said.

Before the age of 20, Loretta had four children. As a stay-at-home mom, she barely went out (paying a babysitter wasn’t an option with the family’s estranged economic situation).

However, her husband liked to go out with his friends and drink beer. Sadly, he also went behind Loretta’s back and met other women. But Loretta remained utterly devoted to her husband, despite his constant cheating, something not all women in her position would have done.

”I married Doo when I wasn’t but a child, and he was my life from that day on,” Lynn later wrote in her 2002 memoir Still Woman Enough.

“But as important as my youth and upbringing was, there’s something else that made me stick to Doo. He thought I was something special, more special than anyone else in the world, and never let me forget it. That belief would be hard to shove out the door. Doo was my security, my safety net.

“Doo was a good man and a hard worker. But he was an alcoholic, and it affected our marriage all the way through.”

The happiness and heartache during the early years of her complicated marriage would later inspire Lorettas’s songwriting, so at least something good came out of it.

Loretta dealt with heartbreak after heartbreak, violence, and rejection, but she never gave up, and even channeled her feelings into her music, stating she never wrote a song without including her husband in her lyrics. Through her music, she charted his affairs, and even the time she attacked another woman who was interfering in their marriage.

According to Loretta herself: “If you can’t fight for your man, he’s not worth having.”

When asked why she didn’t leave Doo, Loretta once gave a clear answer:

“I put up with it because of six kids.”

The country music queen stayed in that marriage until Doolittle died in 1996, at the age of 69. The loss was hard for her to bear, and her kids thought she would never recover from it.

“Three days after my husband died, I left Hurricane Mills and come to Nashville,” she said in an interview in 2000.

“After bein’ here awhile, I said to a friend of mine, ‘It seems like I been here a couple months already.’ And she said, ‘You been here a year.’”

Thankfully, Loretta was able to pick up the pieces and focused on caring for and supporting her family, including her children and three grandchildren, while still making music.

Loretta Lynn children

Sadly, not all of Loretta’s children are still alive today.

Her oldest child, Betty Sue Lynn, was born in 1948. She was her mother’s right hand and worked closely with Loretta during her music career. Betty actually wrote a couple of songs for her mom, including “Wine, Women and Song.” Unfortunately, Betty passed away in 2013 from complications to do with emphysema. She was 64.

Loretta’s first son, Jack Benny Lynn, was born in 1949. But, unlike his mother and siblings, Jack didn’t pursue a career in the music industry.

Instead, he dedicated his life to horses and became a successful horse trainer and blacksmith. However, his life was destined to end tragically. One day in 1984, Jack drowned trying to cross a river with his horse on the family property. He was 54 at the time, and had a wife and three kids.

Everyone thought Loretta would be completely devastated over Jack’s passing; he was her heart’s favorite among her six children. But it took a while before she got the terrible news; Loretta was being treated in hospital for exhaustion when Jack died. Then, after a couple of days, her husband had to drive up to the hospital to deliver the tragic information.

“She took it much better than we expected,” said her manager of 12 years, David Skepner. “Loretta’s going to be all right.”

Loretta Lynn, center, is assisted by her husband, Mooney, July 27 as they leave a funeral for their son.

But of course, Jack’s sudden death took a heavy toll on Loretta – no parent shouldn’t have to bury their baby. In 2021, on the anniversary of his passing, Loretta shared a heartbreaking tribute to her beloved son:

“He was a spitting image of his daddy. He was my blond-headed, blue-eyed baby. Just what I asked for. He was quiet and tender. I adored him with all my heart. He and Betty Sue got into everything when they were little and I was a new momma,” she wrote on Facebook.

Loretta’s third child, Clara “Cissie” Marie Lynn, was born in 1952. She also worked for her mother as a producer.

Ernest Ray Lynn, meanwhile, born in 1954, also followed in his mother’s footsteps and made a career in the entertainment industry as a performer.

In 1964, Loretta gave birth to twin girls Peggy and Patsy. They made music together and the duo, called “The Lynns”, had a hit in 1997 with the song “Woman to Woman”.

Peggy and Patsy also tried their hand in the acting profession, even landing a role in the “Walker Texas Ranger” series, where they featured as themselves, alongside Chuck Norris in the lead role.

Loretta Lynn went through a lot in her life, and her family has now expanded with grandchildren. During the holidays, Loretta was always reminded of what she lost – but also what she still had.

”I can’t tell you how much I wish Doo, Jack, and Betty were with us today. My heart’s never gotten over losing those three. Yet, I’m so grateful for the four I still have…,” she said last year.

Lynn suffered a stroke in 2018 and broke her hip in 2018, but bounced back to record more music. Still, she’s often been the subject of rumors about her declining health: a report in 2019 said she was in a nursing home and near-death, which she happily disputed.

“Well, through the years they’ve said I’m broke, homeless, cheating, drinking, gone crazy, terminally ill, and even dead!” she wrote on Facebook. “Poor things can’t ever get it right.”

In fact, despite her old age, Lynn continued to record music, and released her milestone 50th studio album last year, just before her 89th birthday.

Still Woman Enough, a mixture of classic songs and new material, was released in 2022, to positive reviews. It peaked at #9 on the US country albums chart.

Loretta Lynn’s death, on October 4, 2022, undoubtedly left a big hole in the hearts of a lot of country music fans. Her death happened due to natural causes.

She is survived by four of her children – Clara, Ernest, and twins Peggy Jean and Patsy Eileen.

Insiders who were close to the late entertainer disclosed that as her final moments neared, Lynn confided in them, revealing her most intimate secrets. According to Radar Online, among these revelations were her feelings of love for country music icon Conway Twitty and the reasons behind her envy of her closest friend, Dolly Parton.

“Loretta had time to take stock of her life during her final days,” a family friend said, according to the gossip magazine.

“She was proud of her tremendous accomplishments but kept some never-voiced secret sorrows she needed to unburden before joining her lost loved ones on the other side,” the friend added.

The insider disclosed that Loretta’s most profound remorse stemmed from disregarding her mother Clary’s ominous caution regarding the purchase of their expansive 3,500-acre ranch with Doo back in 1966 – the place where Jack drowned back in 1984.

In her final moments, Loretta confessed, ‘I wish I had heeded my mother’s advice,’ as shared by a close friend.

”She passed away with the belief that her house was under a curse.’”
