As expected, there were many weird and wonderful outfits on show at yesterday’s 2024 Met Gala, but actress Demi Moore may well lay claim to having donned the most eye-catching.

The 61-year-old took to the Met Gala red carpet for her first appearance at the event in five years, wearing a gown supposedly made of… wait for it… wallpaper!

The outfit in question sported heart-shaped wings that fanned out from Moore’s sides, as well as a pink-and-white floral design which the actress accessorized with diamond jewelry by Cartier.

After catching the attention of photographers – and indeed fans around the world who watched the event – Moore revealed that the dress was “not heavy at all” and in fact, it made her “want to rumba.”

As stated, the elegant gown, made by Harris Reed, is fashioned from wallpaper, with Reed explaining that the project took an astounding 11,000 hours of silk embroidery.

“It all started with this incredible Cartier necklace that Demi is wearing,” the designer said at the event.

“It was inspired by the floral feeling it gave me. The whole piece is made out of vintage archival wallpaper. We repurposed it. It’s 11,000 hours of silk embroidery that we’ve repurposed into this idea of her blooming on the carpet. I wanted to be the vines to her thorns.”

Moore last attended the Met Gala in the pre-COVID-19 pandemic days of 2019. On that occasion she opted for an all-black gown with a plunging neckline by Saint Laurent.

Last month, the Indecent Proposal star turned heads when she stepped out at Dolce and Gabbana’s 40th anniversary party. The 61-year-old actress wore a see-through black dress for the occasion, with basic black undergarments beneath and a pair of simple black heels.

Letting her dress steal the attention, Moore kept her makeup light, with a soft-pink lipstick and bold mascara. She didn’t don any jewelry for the event, while her luscious dark locks tumbled down to her waist.

“She looks unreal for her age. BRAVO,” one person wrote on Instagram.

Another opined: “Her and Cher I swear are vampires and the most beautiful women in Hollywood. As a nurse I can unfortunately tell their age by the way the walk, as well with Madonna. Our gate and bones is something we can’t have plastic surgeons fix. Kuddos to all of them for aging beautifully and I hope to be like them one day.

Lopez, who was performing at the Dodgers Foundation’s Blue Diamond Gala when she announced that one of her twins, Emme, would be coming out to sing with her.

“I ask them to sing with me all the time but they won’t, so this is a very special occasion, because they’re very, very busy and booked and pricey,” Lopez humorously shared.

“They cost me when they come out,” she added.

Continuing with the gender-neutral pronouns, Lopez said: “They’re worth every single penny because they’re my favorite duet partner of all time. So if you would indulge me.”

Lopez and Emme then treated fans to a mesmerizing duet of Christina Perri’s A Thousand Years. Emme, sporting a hot pink shirt and shorts paired with a black hat and shoes, stole the show alongside their mom, who rocked a turquoise ensemble and a feathered robe.

The Let’s Get Loud singer shares Emme and son Maximilian with her ex-husband Marc Anthony. The teenage twins celebrated their birthday in February, prompting Lopez to express her gratitude for their presence in her life.

“You have taught me the true meaning of life and have changed me forever in the most amazing way,” Lopez gushed on Instagram. “I only hope I can be half of the blessing you have been to my life.”

Since finalizing their divorce in 2014, Lopez and Anthony have been successfully co-parenting Emme and Maximilian. Lopez’s husband, Ben Affleck, has also taken on a fatherly role with her twins.

In fact, last Father’s Day, Lopez took to Instagram to celebrate Affleck and her dad, David Lopez, in heartfelt tributes, noticeably leaving Anthony out of the holiday dedications.

“Happy Father’s Day to the most caring, loving, affectionate, consistent and selfless Daddy ever,” Lopez wrote, emphasizing her appreciation for Affleck’s role in their family.

Watch moment Donna Kelce reacts to Travis Kelce joining Taylor Swift on stage kissing passionately and touching her on sensitive parts of her body

Kelce made his Eras Tour debut on Sunday, joining his girlfriend for a skit during her costume change and about 90,000 crowd erupted including Donna Kelce.

Travis Kelce made headlines when he made his first onstage appearance during Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour shows in London over the weekend — and Kelce’s mother, Donna, shared her excitement about her son’s concert debut.

On Sunday, June 23 — soon after the pop superstar, 34, shocked the crowd by inviting her Kansas City Chiefs player boyfriend, also 34, onstage with — Kelce’s mom, 71, reposted a video of the viral moment to her Facebook page.

In the clip, fans can be heard cheering and screaming as Kelce appeared onstage at Wembley Stadium, joining Swift for her “I Can Do It with a Broken Heart” outfit change, a new part of her set since the release of The Tortured Poets Department.

The tight end was wearing a tuxedo and top hat — the same as Swift’s backup dancers — and stepped in for the dancer who usually carries the Grammy winner during the segment. Kelce could be seen grinning as he carried Swift to a red couch, where he set her down. He then worked with the other dancers to get her dolled up and pretended to put makeup on her face with a brush.

Swift then blew him a kiss as she began her next song, and Kelce waved the crowd off as he and the backup dancers descended below the stage on a platform.

Donna’s Facebook followers were instantly excited that she had reshared a video of the moment — and were very complimentary of Kelce’s live performance skills.

“And every Swiftie just died all at once and broke the internet,” one fan wrote below Donna’s post. “We need Mama Kelce to get to a show!”

Another fan chimed in, adding, “Oh my heart. Mama Kelce I hope y’all know how much us Swifties love your sons!!”

“Love how these masculine football men are showing the world it’s ok to wear friendship bracelets, support your significant others successes and still shine on your own!” another fan commented, referencing Kelce’s brother and former Philadelphia Eagles star player, Jason Kelce, who made headlines when he and his wife, Kylie, stepped out with tons of friendship bracelets to hand out to fans at Swift’s show on Saturday, June 22.
“Kudos to Mama & Papa Kelce for raising these 2 men!!” the fan added

The Chiefs player’s appearance came just days after he and Swift went Instagram official, after the “Fortnight” singer shared a selfie of the couple posing with Prince William, Prince George and Princess Charlotte backstage after the star’s first Wembley show on Friday, June 21.

Kelce’s mom has previously been candid about her support for his relationship with Swift. Just last month, Donna made an appearance The Martha Stewart Podcast, where she opened up about the relationship between her NFL star son and his music superstar girlfriend.

“They’re both friendly,” Donna told Stewart. “They’re both generous. They’re both loving. They’re both caring individuals,” she added, noting that while she’s seemingly optimistic about their future, she added one small caveat: “time will tell.”

Taylor’s Dad Scott Kingsley Swift responds to Jana Kramer’s claims She’s a bad influence because She’s ‘always drinking’… and NFL is NOT impressed

Taylor's Dad Scott Kingsley Swift responds to Jana Kramer's claims She's a bad influence because She's 'always drinking'... and NFL is NOT impressed

Travis Kelce has fired back at Jana Kramer’s claims that he’s a bad influence on his popstar girlfriend Taylor Swift due to his drinking habits off the gridiron.

According to TMZ,  the Chiefs tight end was ‘taken aback’ by Kramer’s remarks about him on her podcast on Sunday, where she portrayed him as a big-time partygoer and as someone who negatively reminded her of her ex-husband, former NFL tight-end Mike Caussin. She also slammed him for always trying to seek attention.

But, oddly enough, Kramer and Kelce have never met.

What’s more is that Kelce had no idea who the country singer was before she came forward with her comments this past weekend.

Regardless, Kelce thinks Kramer is ‘blowing hot air’ just for a few seconds in the spotlight, according to a TMZ source.

Kramer also has a history of shaming high-profile  celebrities. Last year, she labeled Brody Jenner as the ‘absolute worst’ date she’d gone on.

On Sunday, the Michigan native, who’s engaged to former England attacking coach, Allan Russell, said that she initially ‘loved’ Kelce and Swift’s PDA-filled relationship, like when they shared an on-the-field kiss immediately after  Kansas City’s AFC title win.

But then, she couldn’t help but notice the three-time Super Bowl champ’s behavioral this offseason, as he’s been seeing partying in Las Vegas with teammate and close pal Patrick Mahomes and has gone to some pretty big events without his significant other, like the Kentucky Derby and the Miami Grand Prix this past weekend.

To Kelce’s defense, however, he and Swift attended Mahomes’ charity event in Sin City, last month. They’ve also been spotted spending time at her L.A. mansion this offseason.

Kelce has also traveled to Singapore and Australia to watch his girlfriend perform, as she gets ready to go on the European leg of her ‘Eras’ Tour later this week. Her first concert on the ‘Old Continent’ is in Paris on Thursday.

Considered as one of America’s most high-profile couple’s, Kelce and Swift are close to celebrating their one-year anniversary, as the pair were first romantically linked in the summer of 2023.

The popstar revealed in her Time Magazine Person of the Year profile that she and Kelce were already dating by the time she saw him play against the Chicago Bears in his family’s suite back in September.

Mahomes even had his say on his teammate’s success over the last year, describing Kelce as ‘super intelligent’.

He also pointed out that the nine-time Pro Bowler ‘puts on a persona’ with his party animal behavior, as shown did during his New Heights Live show at the University of Cincinnati in April.

If you followed the news during John McCain’s 2008 presidential campaign, Sarah Palin was a name you couldn’t miss.

The former Governor of Alaska was thrust into the spotlight as McCain’s running mate. Despite their loss to Barack Obama, Palin became known as a “force of nature” in Republican politics.

Now 58, Palin remains active in the Republican Party, though recent headlines have focused more on her personal life.

In 2020, after nearly three decades of marriage, Palin announced her divorce from her husband.

The details of the split were surprising, and the former Republican vice-presidential nominee has recently shared more about this high-profile breakup.

Sarah Palin and Todd

Sarah Palin was born in Sandpoint, Idaho, in 1964, but her family moved to Alaska when she was just a few months old. She grew up in the small town of Wasilla, about 40 miles north of Anchorage.

At Wasilla High School, Palin excelled as a basketball star and quickly became a well-known leader among her peers.

“Basketball was a life-changing experience for me. It’s all about setting a goal, discipline, teamwork, and success,” she once remarked.

It was also at a basketball game that she met her future husband, Todd Palin. In August 1988, the high school sweethearts eloped, heading to the local courthouse to get married. However, they discovered they needed witnesses. After persuading two people from a nearby pioneers’ home, they were able to tie the knot.

Sarah explained that they eloped because they were both poor and didn’t want their parents to bear the cost of a wedding, as she shared with the Anchorage Daily News in 2008.

Sarah Palin and Todd have five children together: Track Charles James (1989), Bristol Sheeran Marie (1990), Willow Bianca Faye (1994), Piper Indy Grace (2001), and Trig Paxson Van (2008), who has Down syndrome.

Palin’s passion for sports is evident in her children’s names. Willow is named after the renowned female sports journalist Willow Bay, who covered the NBA, and Bristol is named after the town where ESPN is based.

A registered Republican since 1982, Palin worked as a journalist and helped run Todd’s family’s commercial fishing business before entering politics in 1992.

Her folksy personality and charm won over many voters. In 2006, she made history as Alaska’s first female and youngest governor.

Throughout her political career, Palin had strong support from her husband, who humorously referred to himself as the “First Dude” during her governorship. Despite Sarah’s high-profile career, Todd, who is part Yup’ik Eskimo, remained modest. According to Scott Davis, a close friend, Todd was almost embarrassed or shy about his wife’s role and took time to adjust to the attention.

Todd, a four-time champion of the world’s longest snowmobile race, the “Iron Dog,” worked in oil production and was a member of Alaska’s Independence Party from 1995 to 2002.

The Palin family lived in a two-story, 3,450-square-foot home near Lake Lucille in Wasilla. Their marriage was often seen as a model union, and Todd took an active role in their children’s lives, especially when Sarah was selected as John McCain’s running mate in 2008.

Sarah portrayed herself as “just your average hockey mom,” but she faced typical parental worries. Just three days into the Republican presidential campaign, she announced that her unmarried 17-year-old daughter, Bristol, was five months pregnant.

It shook the Palin family, a very Christian household, to the core.

“Trig was just 16 weeks old at the time. Bristol was in high school, a pregnant teenager. We were a microcosm of America. Standing on that stage, I thought, ‘Oh man…who’d have thought?’” Palin recalled.

According to Levi Johnston, the father of Bristol’s baby, Sarah Palin was desperate to keep the pregnancy a secret and even suggested adopting the baby herself. “Sarah told me she had a great idea: we would keep it a secret—nobody would know that Bristol was pregnant,” Johnston revealed to Vanity Fair in 2009.

Once the news became public, Sarah and Todd released a statement expressing their support: “We are proud of Bristol’s decision to have her baby and even prouder to become grandparents.”

Today, Bristol is 31, a mother of three, and runs a successful real estate company in Texas, marking her achievements in both personal and professional life.

Divorce via an email

In the eyes of many, Sarah and Todd Palin epitomized harmony and shared strong Christian values. Despite facing numerous challenges, including media scrutiny and family hardships, their three-decade marriage symbolized strength and love.

However, just days after their 31st wedding anniversary in 2019, Sarah received a divorce notice from Todd via email. Discovering this through a third party left the mother of five and grandmother of seven heartbroken.

“I felt like I got shot,” she said. “I found out from an email from an attorney on June 19; I’ll never forget it. It’s not easy to talk about,” she shared in an interview with Christian author James Dobson.

For Sarah, who valued her marriage immensely, the news was devastating. “I’m sure many of you either have been through it or have loved ones who have. It’s horrible. Except for the death of a child, I don’t know what could be worse. It hurts,” she revealed.

In September 2019, Todd filed for divorce, citing “incompatibility of temperament” as the reason for their inability to live together as husband and wife.

Despite this, Sarah was determined to fight for her marriage and sought counseling. “We’re going through counseling now, so it’s not over,” she told James Dobson in November 2019. “Attorneys are getting rich off us, and I don’t like that system. It makes no sense to me.”

Sarah found support from her children during this difficult time. “My kids are cool because they don’t like it, and that helps me. They’ve been brought up with the belief that you’ve made a covenant with God,” she said.

“My parents have been married for 58 years. In our family, we stick together through thick and thin because you made a vow to God to overcome any hurdles and make it work.”

Though divorce rumors had long surrounded Sarah and Todd, this time it was real. Their divorce was finalized on March 23, 2020.

Sarah Palin boyfriend

Since then, Sarah Palin has kept a low profile, refraining from openly discussing her breakup. However, in April 2022, she finally opened up about her new love and the pain of divorce.

According to Sarah, her ex-husband now has a new partner who lives in New York City. “He spends his time with his girlfriend, whom he’s had for some time now. She lives down in the lower 48, so he spends a lot of time there,” she said.

Sarah has also found love again; she’s currently dating former New York Rangers star Ron Duguay. The couple was spotted dining outdoors in January 2022, and they confirmed their romance a month later.

Duguay, a longtime friend of Palin’s, fell in love with her after she asked him to show her around New York City. In an interview with the New York Post, she described their relationship as “safe and comfortable.”

“Ron is the first person I’ve ever talked to about a lot of this personal stuff. It’s been helpful and refreshing to have Ron to talk to—not just about politics, because he’s got more common sense in his little finger than the collective in DC—but about life,” Sarah explained.

Now running for Alaska’s at-large congressional seat, Palin has strong support from her new boyfriend. Duguay has been actively involved in her campaign, helping her in Alaska.

Going through a public divorce is never easy, especially with children involved. But we hope Sarah can find new energy and happiness with her new partner!

About 80 years ago, this iconic actor was guiding moviegoers to their seats in the dim aisles of a theater in Shreveport, Louisiana.

However, his true aspiration was to be on the screen.

Facing numerous auditions, the determined young actor was frequently told, “you just don’t look the part.” Determined to succeed, he visited the Paramount Studio barber shop and transformed his appearance.

Continue reading to discover more about the Golden Globe-winning actor and the transformative haircut that launched his career!

Born in 1928, Louisiana’s Earl Holliman always dreamed of making it to the big screen.

Around the age of 14, he earned 25 cents an hour guiding movie patrons to their seats at Shreveport’s Strand Theater. Saving his money, the aspiring star accumulated “a few bucks,” and at 15, he hitchhiked to Hollywood.

“I brought along a pair of dark sunglasses, which I associated with Hollywood,” Holliman, now 95, recalled in an earlier interview. “On my first day, I went to Grauman’s Chinese Theater and walked up and down the forecourt where movie stars put their handprints and footprints, hoping everyone would wonder who I was. But I didn’t last long. I thought I’d be able to get a job, but I couldn’t.”

Feeling defeated, the young man returned home to complete high school. After graduation, he served in the navy, which led him to a radio communications school in Los Angeles.

“Whenever I’d get liberty (shore leave), I’d hightail it over to the Hollywood Canteen and meet people I’d later work with, like Roddy McDowall. Eventually, I applied to and was accepted at the Pasadena Playhouse,” said Holliman, who landed a small role in the 1953 film Scared Stiff with Jerry Lewis and Dean Martin.

However, Hollywood proved harsh to the ambitious actor, who kept hearing during auditions, “you just don’t look the part.”

“I was told that even though I was a good actor, I wasn’t handsome enough to be a leading man and wasn’t offbeat enough to be a character actor. I was just kind of in between,” he recalled.

Determined to find a path to stardom and secure a role in the 1953 film The Girls of Pleasure Island, Holliman decided to get a makeover.

‘Funny-looking haircut’

Describing his big break that came with his new look, the Forbidden Planet star says, “When I sat in the barber’s chair, they cut my hair about a quarter of an inch long, and in the front, it laid down like bangs. With my big ears, broken nose, two front teeth, little eyes, and funny-looking haircut, I was suddenly a character actor. Just like that.”

After landing the role in The Girls of Pleasure Island, Holliman delivered a Golden Globe-winning performance in 1956’s The Rainmaker, starring alongside Katharine Hepburn and Burt Lancaster.

“That’s still my favorite film,” he said in a 1991 interview with the Calgary Herald. “It was the one that made all the difference in lifting my career to a whole new plateau.”

Over the next several years, Holliman—who also enjoyed a successful music career—appeared on screen with Hollywood legends like John Wayne, Dean Martin, Kirk Douglas, and Rock Hudson.

From 1974 to 1978, the star of the TV series Wide Country became widely recognized as Sergeant Bill Crowley in Police Woman, a TV show that also starred Angie Dickinson.

Speaking of the chemistry he shared with his co-star, now 92 years old, the Giant star said, “She was very sexy yet at the same time had a little girl quality that made you want to protect her, to put your arm around her and say it was going to be okay. We were together 12 or 14 hours a day. Angie’s very opinionated, and when she thinks she’s right, that’s the way it is. We had our share of disagreements, but you could tell we had a warmth. It looked like two people who adored each other. It was there.”

After small appearances in TV series like The Twilight Zone and the short-lived Delta with Delta Burke, as well as films including Bad City Blues (1999) and The Perfect Tenant (2000), the Thorn Birds actor, who earned a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 1977, retired from acting.

Since leaving the screen, Earl Holliman has focused on his role as an animal rights advocate.

The former star, who has cared for a blind possum, injured doves, and mauled cats, doesn’t discriminate in his compassion for animals.

He even loves pigeons.

“I feed at least 500 of them a day. In fact, it’s like a pigeon McDonald’s at my property,” he says.

For 25 years, Holliman served as the president of Actors and Others for Animals, an organization supported by numerous celebrities like the late Betty White, Lily Tomlin, Valerie Bertinelli, and Wendie Malick.
