Years after breaking up with pro-athlete Tom Brady, Bridget Moynahan is finally happy in her love life.

Many of us remember that after two years together, Moynahan and Brady broke up. Soon after, Moynahan revealed she was three months pregnant with their child, who is now 16.

Moynahan went through her pregnancy as a single mother, but she has found happiness in her life.

In a 2008 interview with *Harper’s Bazaar*, the 52-year-old actress shared her unexpected journey as a single mother. She said, “I never thought I would raise a child alone,” and expressed her hope for a loving partner in her life.

Finding out she was pregnant was a big shock for Bridget Moynahan. As an actress and former model, it was especially challenging for her because she always believed in marriage before having children.

In the same *Harper’s Bazaar* interview, Moynahan explained, “I’m a traditional girl, and I believe in marriage, and I always thought that’s the way I’d be having a family. For a moment, it was hard for me to accept that this was the way it was going to be.”

Her relationship with former NFL star Tom Brady ended “amicably” in early December 2006. Soon after the breakup, Moynahan discovered she was three months pregnant. At that time, Brady had started dating supermodel Gisele Bündchen, which made the situation even more complicated.

Looking back on the “traumatic” experience, Moynahan said she had to go through her pregnancy and have a baby under intense media scrutiny. She admitted, “I’m not sure anyone grows up thinking, I want to be a single mom.”

While Moynahan was busy raising her son, Jack, Tom Brady and Gisele Bündchen got married in February 2009. Just ten months later, they had their first child, Benjamin, and in December 2012, they welcomed their second child, Vivian. Unfortunately, they divorced in 2022 after 13 years together.

In her memoir, Bündchen admitted that learning about Brady and Moynahan’s baby was difficult for her. She said, “Two months into our relationship, Tom told me that his ex-girlfriend was pregnant. The very next day, the news was everywhere, and I felt my world got turned upside down.”

Despite the challenges, Moynahan found joy in her son, John “Jack” Edward Thomas, who was born in 2007.

In her 2019 book, *Our Shoes, Our Selves*, Moynahan wrote about the struggles she faced during that time, especially feeling overwhelmed by public attention. “Having a baby should have been the most joyous time of my life, but instead, I felt assaulted,” she said.

Despite these difficulties, she embraced motherhood and found it more fulfilling than her modeling and acting careers. Moynahan has often expressed her love for being a mother and the positive impact it has had on her life. “I have become that mother I used to dread. Every time he does something, you think he’s a genius. He’s a genius,” she told *Harper’s Bazaar*.

Moynahan’s personal life took a happy turn when she met Andrew Frankel, 49, through mutual friends. The couple got engaged in April 2015 and had a secret wedding at Wolffer Estate Vineyard in Sagaponack, New York, in October of the same year. Their small, private ceremony celebrated their love, and instead of gifts, they asked guests to donate to The Hole in the Wall Gang Camp.

Moynahan looked back on her beautiful wedding with gratitude, appreciating the special details of her dress and the celebration. Fans were also thrilled for Moynahan, feeling she deserved this happy ending after her public breakup and journey as a single mother.

Moynahan and Frankel’s blended family consists of his three sons from a previous relationship, creating a loving and supportive environment for Jack.

Despite the unexpected twists in her journey, Moynahan is thankful for the extended family her son has, telling More magazine (via Us Weekly): “My son has two loving parents and an extended family, whether it’s cousins or stepmothers or boyfriends. My son is surrounded by love.”

Paris Hilton says she hopes her kids are ‘nerds like their dad’

Paris Hilton and her husband Carter Reum may be able to give their kids anything they desire, but they won’t be getting a cell phone for some time. In a recent interview, the hotel heiress and her entrepreneur husband shared some insight into their plans as parents. According to Hilton, “I never thought I’d say this, but I’m going to be the strict mom.”

Hilton and Reum sat down with Ryan Knutson for The Wall Street Journal’s, The Future of Everything Festival, and while it’s no secret she enjoys social media, attention, and viral videos, she hopes they are more like their dad. “I hope that they are nerds like their dad and don’t want anything to do with that,” Hilton quipped, per Entertainment Tonight.

The couple shares Phoenix, 1, and London, 6 months, who they welcomed via surrogacy. They still have a long way before they could even start scrolling and posting, but according to Hilton, “I’m going to try to not have them have a phone for a while.”

Some celebrity parents let their kids have cell phones at a young age, even helping them run their TikTok accounts, but Hilton knows the dangers of the internet. “Some of these kids are just getting phones at way too young of an age, and there are just so many things online that I wouldn’t even want my children to be exposed to,” she explained.

While her kids are still babies, Hilton has seen the wrath of the internet towards them. Her oldest son, Phoenix, has already been bullied by thousands – thankfully he has no idea. When Hilton first shared photos of him when he was eight months old, people were being very rude about the size of his head.

She spoke about the situation in an Instagram Story. “Living life in the spotlight, comments are inevitable, but targeting my child, or anyone else’s for that matter, is unacceptable,” she wrote.

“This hurts my heart more deeply than words can describe. I’ve worked hard to cultivate an environment that is all about love, respect, and acceptance, and I expect the same in return,” Hilton continued.

Sharon Stone Recreates Iconic ‘Basic Instinct’ Pose at Age 66, More Than 30 Years Later

Sharon Stone knows what her legacy will be — and she brought one of her most iconic onscreen moments to mind with a photo shared via Instagram on Friday, July 12.

Stone, 66, recreated the most memorable moment from the 1992 erotic thriller Basic Instinct. In that neo-noir film, Stone played murderous crime novelist Catherine Tramell. Stone’s character notably toyed with San Francisco Police in an early scene by smoking in the interrogation room and uncrossing her legs to reveal she wasn’t wearing underwear under her white dress.

In her Instagram recreation, Stone wore a matching, hot pink underwear set and was seated in a gold chair with white shag cushions. “Basically…yours 🥰,” she captioned the snap taken by her stylist Paris Libby.

The original scene cemented Stone as a sex symbol, something that Saturday Night Live writers played with when Stone hosted the show in 1992. In a sketch that Dana Carvey has since apologized for, Carvey played an airport worker who forced Stone to strip down while passing through security.

“I want to apologize publicly for the security check sketch where I played an Indian man and we’re convincing Sharon, her character, or whatever — to take her clothes off to go through the security thing,” Carvey said in an episode of his “Fly On The Wall” podcast in March.

Stone, a guest on the episode, didn’t seem to mind. She noted to Carvey that 1992 was a very different time.

“I know the difference between a misdemeanor and a felony. And I think that we were all committing misdemeanors [back then] because we didn’t think there was something wrong then,” she commented. “We didn’t have this sense. That was funny to me, I didn’t care. I was fine being the butt of the joke.”

The Emmy-winning actress spent much of the ‘90s as one of the most in-demand names in Hollywood. Her career was derailed after she suffered a stroke and a seven-day brain bleed in 2001. Stone told Good Morning Britain in May that recovery took her seven years, after which she felt left behind by her former peers.

That’s a long time to lose your momentum,” she said. “In seven years, you’re no longer the flavor of the time, you no longer have box office heat, the same people you were working with are no longer in power anymore.”

She continued, “I was sort of hurt that the world moved on without me.”

Paul Newman and Joanne Woodward’s Daughter Shares Rare Family Photos in Book ‘Head Over Heels’

Melissa Newman reveals a softer side to her parents, as well as never-before-seen family photos

For many, Hollywood power couple Paul Newman and Joanne Woodward represented the ultimate in movie-star allure.

Together, the actors held two Academy Awards, four Emmys and a long résumé of classic movies such as Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid and The Three Faces of Eve. Their partnership has also been the basis for recent projects including Ethan Hawke’s Max miniseries The Last Movie Stars and Newman’s posthumous memoir, The Extraordinary Life of an Ordinary Man, both released in 2022.

Behind closed doors, however, the iconic stars revealed a softer side.

“They could have their knockdown, drag out fights, but they always came clinging back to each other,” their daughter, artist and former actress Melissa Newman, tells PEOPLE exclusively. “Which is amazing in Hollywood — that they managed to navigate this relationship.”

In her new photo book, Head Over Heels: Joanne Woodward and Paul Newman: A Love Affair in Words and Pictures, out now from Little, Brown Voracious, Melissa shares an intimate look into her parents’ relationship. Created alongside editor Andrew Kelly and designer Dan Miller, the book features more than 100 photos — some never-before-seen — of the iconic Hollywood couple, from the East Coast to Los Angeles to various movie sets around the world.

Melissa, 62, grew up surrounded by photography in her family’s Westport, Connecticut, home. She recalls that it often felt like her parents’ photographer friends, including Philippe Halsman and Bruce Davidson, “lived at our house,” snapping pictures. Newman and Woodward also took many photos of Melissa and her two sisters.

“There’s so many pictures of my parents with cameras hanging around their necks,” Melissa says. “My dad used to walk around with a hammer and nails. Every time a new photograph [came in], or he decided to put something on the wall…he would just be walking around looking for a spot.”

Head Over Heels features photos that were in Melissa’s childhood home. The book, which she says is “loosely thematic,” also incorporates quotes from her parents collected from interviews, transcripts and “charmingly naughty” letters between the couple.

“I’d get to a line [while reading the letters] and I’d be like, ‘Oh, Dad, I can’t put this letter in the book,’” she says. “I think there are a lot of cases in which you look at the photograph and you might not engage with it, but when you read the quote, you look back at the photograph with different eyes.”

Head Over Heels is all about seeing people from a new perspective. Paul Newman, who died in 2008, features in many lighthearted pictures. In one photo, he sings to a cow in Vermont. In another snapshot, taken by Rebel Without a Cause screenwriter Stewart Stern, he stares at himself in a mirror, eyes wide, his face covered in shaving cream.

“My dad was a goofball,” Melissa says. “He really was. He was a silly goof, like a college frat boy in a way, with the beer drinking. And he just had a really silly sense of humor, which made him a wonderful grandfather. He was really fun with kids.”

His philanthropy includes initiatives like the Hole in the Wall Gang Camp, created for children with serious illnesses and their families. Melissa says that, to her, “that’s really the purest iteration of his legacy.”

Woodward, Melissa says, was often behind the camera, but had “a free spirit.” She recalls seeing photos of her mother, now 93, in costumes from her movies. One such photo that didn’t make the book features Woodward after she cut her hair with fingernail scissors for her 1955 film Count Three and Pray. Woodward claimed that her character, Lissy, would never wear her hair in the poofy braid that was originally planned.

“[My dad] really felt like my mother was the most important,” Melissa says. “As far as being an actor, he placed my mother above him as an actor till the day he died, I think.”

Though her parents’ relationship was both “sweet” and “turbulent,” Melissa intends for Head Over Heels to showcase “the most beautiful, wonderful and intriguing aspect of their relationship, which was their relationship.”

“This is really, really just about their romance, which was complex,” she says. “It wasn’t simple. It wasn’t all roses. And between the quotes and the photographs, I think when you get to the end of the book, you really feel as though you’ve been with them.”

In a surprising revelation, Parton admitted that she didn’t see a toilet until she was eight years old when visiting her aunt’s house. She was hesitant to use it, fearing it might “suck them right down.” Parton also revealed that they made their own soap and bathed only once a week during the winter. However, in high school, she had to wash every day because she and her siblings slept together and “the kids peed on me every night.”

Family Influence and Career Success
