Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are facing some quite exciting times, not least regarding their children. Soon, they will begin a new chapter in a new school, but the Sussexes have faced significant backlash regarding what schools they are looking at.
Sadly, it’s not the only thing they have been criticized for, as Harry is being slammed for accepting an award that many don’t believe he is entitled to even touch. Although the couple lives in a magnificent mansion in Montecito, California, raising their two children in a town without paparazzi photographers, some things do not seem right. Reports have suggested that Harry and Meghan are facing difficulties with their marriage, and the Duke has even claimed to miss the UK. As of now, one royal expert claims that Harry is “petrified” of losing his wife – with the Duke possibly returning to the UK alone.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been involved in many controversies since leaving the royal family. Not long ago, the Duke found himself in another one, which has now received massive attention in the US, as Harry is to receive the Pat Tillman Award.
Prince Harry criticized for receiving prestigious Pat Tillman Award
ESPY said Harry was honored for his “tireless work in making a positive impact for the veteran community through the power of sport” with the Invictus Games he created years ago. The award has previously been given to unsung heroes – but the fact that Prince Harry got it this year doesn’t sit well with everyone. Pat Tillman was a US soldier killed in Afghanistan, for whom the award has been named. Not long after the Duke was awarded the honor, Tillman’s mother, Mary, criticizes Harry for getting it in the first place. “I am shocked as to why they would select such a controversial and divisive individual to receive the award. Some recipients are far more fitting.
There are individuals working in the veteran community that are doing tremendous things to assist veterans,” she told the Daily Mail. The public has been enraged with Harry receiving the award, and a petition on Change.org urging ESPN to reconsider the decision gathered over 70,000 signatures. “These individuals do not have the money, resources, connections or privilege that Prince Harry has. I feel that those types of individuals should be recognised.”

A spokesman for ESPY answered, “While we understand not everyone will agree with all honourees selected for any award, The Invictus Games Foundation does incredible work, and ESPN believes this is a cause worth celebrating.”
“The reaction certainly took the shine off the award”
The Telegraph reports that Harry is stunned by the backlash. The newspaper’s source says that the fact that Harry has been criticized for his work with veterans has been a “particularly bitter pill to swallow.” It could even cause him problems in the future as he “seeks to build a career upon the foundations of his past military endeavours.”
“Harry’s legacy on Invictus, the things he has achieved, that’s his real passion. This is the space in which he truly feels at home, it is something he deeply cares about. The reaction certainly took the shine off the award,” the source added.
Harry is set to receive his award on Thursday. In addition to the thousands of people who signed the petition for Harry not to receive the Pat Tillman Award, US commentator Lee Cohen also believes the choice is wrong. In an opinion piece for The Sun, Cohen writes that Harry is insulting veterans since he abandoned his country.
“The idea of rewarding a Royal Prince who abandoned his duty and capitalized on his title for personal gain is an affront to the legacy of Pat Tillman and is even more misplaced than ludicrously naming Harry a “Legend of Aviation,’” Cohen said.
“More discretion must be exhibited in the selection of award recipients, ensuring that they truly represent the values and qualities embodied by the award. To do otherwise is quite frankly offensive and ridiculous.”

While one source says Harry is stunned by the backlash, royal expert Grant Harrold, who worked as a butler to King Charles, told the New York Post that the Duke is not only sad about it but is also considering his options.
“It’s interesting that Harry’s nod has ruffled feathers. From my point of view, it’s a bit confusing,” Harrold said, adding that Harry might consider declining the award.
Prince Harry & Meghan Markle’s marriage
He concluded that Harry is “one of the most caring, kindest and most gentle people you could ever meet,” so he’s “feeling quite sad about it.”
“He’d never want to cause any upset,” Harrold added. “If he thinks that it is going to cause upset, then it is quite likely that he could decline the award . . . because he’d never want to cause any upset and it would affect him hearing about the backlash.”
Although Harry might have caught himself in plenty of trouble because of the award, things are not as they are supposed to at home. At least, that is what several royal experts and newspaper sources claim.
Harry has several friends in the US, but after living there for a while, he might have changed his mind about whether it’s the right place to be.
According to Tom Quinn, Harry misses his army and college friends dearly. Sadly, they haven’t visited him in California because “they don’t get on with Meghan.” As a result, it’s been reported that the Duke is now looking for a “permanent” home in the UK.
“As time goes by, Harry misses some aspects of his old life in the UK. Inevitably, the honeymoon period where everything in the States is new and exciting is coming to an end and Harry is looking back at the past through rose-tinted spectacles,” Quinn claimed.

He added: “He misses his Old Etonian and army friends, many of whom have not visited as they don’t get on with Meghan. Harry is determined to find his own permanent home in the UK, which is partly why he’s continuing his legal action to get the British taxpayer to pay for his security.”
Prince Harry “petrified” of losing Meghan
The Sussexes’ feud with the royal family has created wounds that might never be able to heal. Only one royal, Princess Eugenie, is said to have visited Harry and Meghan in the US. While King Charles is reportedly considering a visit, the odds of Prince William and Kate Middleton traveling to Montecito are very low.
The Duke is, as mentioned, rumored to be looking for a permanent home in the UK. Royal expert Hugo Vickers, author of Prince Edward’ ‘s 2022 memoir A Royal Life, predicts that Harry will return to live in the UK permanently – but not with his wife. ‘s 2022 memoir A Royal Life, predicts that Harry will return to live in the UK permanently – but not with his wife.
Speaking with The Sun, Vickers described Harry as an “angry” person who is “petrified” of losing Meghan. Even so, the royal expert claimed Harry will return to the UK.
“I think he’ll come home,” he told TheSun. “I think he’ll come home, and if he comes home, we must be very nice to him because he won’t particularly want to. He’s quite angry, I think.”
Vickers added that if Harry returned, King Charles would welcome him with open arms and let him back into the royal family as a working member.

“The king has left the door wide open for him to do that, and he was doing such a good job before, and … he looked so happy,” the royal expert continued. “Usually, you’re happy when you’re doing your duty and you’re doing it for other people and you’re putting things into life.”
“There is a growing rift between Harry and Meghan”
He concluded, “If you’re taking things out of life, at the risk of getting a lot of hate mail, I personally think that he looks like he’s petrified of losing her [Meghan] and looks slightly petrified of her.”
Harry and Meghan have loved the spotlight. The Duchess is said to want to be part of the Hollywood elite but reports state that many celebrities and former friends of the couple don’t want anything to do with them anymore. As Harry and Meghan’s experiences of US and Hollywood life are very different, royal expert Tom Quinn told the Mirror that the Sussexes are facing a stark reality check, which is putting pressure on their relationship.
“There is a growing rift between Harry and Meghan caused by Meghan’s increasing concern that her life is not going in the direction she had planned,” Quinn said. “She loves media attention and hates that surveys suggest she and Harry are no longer of much interest to the American public.”
“With news that the couple’s Netflix contract may be under threat, along with the mockery that greeted the launch of her online brand, Meghan feels very much under siege,” he added.
The ongoing feud between Tucker Carlson and Fox News has intensified, as insiders close to Carlson have revealed to Axios that he is gearing up to pressure Fox News into allowing him to work for, or even create, a competing right-wing network.
This development comes on the heels of Fox News parting ways with Carlson 13 days prior, which subsequeritly led to a significant drop in viewership during his previous time slot. In an effort to keep him out of the limelight, Fox is said to be offering Carlson a staggering $20 million per year to remain unemployed.
Carlson’s legal representative, Bryan Freedman, shared with Axios that “the notion that anyone can muzzle Tucker and stop him from communicating with his audience is utterly absurd.” The ongoing strife between Carlson and Fox has the potential to dramatically alter the conservative news arena. Axios further reports:
Information obtained by Axios indicates that Carlson is actively laying the groundwork for his own media dynasty. However, he first needs Fox to release him from his contract, which is set to expire in January 2025, after the presidential election.
Sources claim that Carlson has received offers from other organizations, such as right-wing platforms Ruinble and Newsmax, who are willing to pay him more than his current Fox contract.
Axios also uncovered that Carlson had a discussion with Elon Musk about a possible collaboration, although no specifics were mentioned. Moreover, Carlson is contemplating the creation of a direct-to-consumer media outlet, drawing inspiration from the business model established by his predecessor at Fox, Bill
O’ Reilly.
A mere two days following his departure from Fox News, Carlson uploaded a video on Twitter at 8 p.m. ET, the same time his former show aired, hinting at a potential return with the message “See you soon.” Since then, the video has amassed over 24 million views.
An insider close to Carlson, who chose to remain anonymous, claimed that the ousted host “is aware of many hidden secrets and is prepared to expose them.” In addition, Carlson’s allies who have influential platforms are ready to target Fox News for attempting to sideline him. Reportedly, heavyweights within Trump’s circle are also on standby to support Carlson.
In my opinion, the conflict between Tucker Carlson and Fox News highlights the ever-changing landscape of media and the struggle for control in the highly competitive world of news broadcasting. The fact that a well-established network like Fox News is willing to pay Carlson a hefty sum to keep him from working speaks volumes about the perceived threat he poses to their ratings and influence.
If Carlson is successful in launching a rival network or securing a position at an existing competitor, it could potentially fracture the conservative media space and lead to even greater polarization. However, it could also present an opportunity for more diverse voices to be heard, offering new perspectives and challenging existing narratives within the right-wing media ecosystem.
Furthermore, the possible collaboration between Carlson and Elon Musk is an. intriguing development. Musk is known for pushing boundaries and challenging traditional industries, so it will be interesting to see what they might create together in the media landscape.
As an observer, I can’t help but be captivated by the unfolding drama betweeri Tucker Carlson and Fox News. It’s a reminder of the immense power and influence wielded by media personalities and the networks that support them. Regardless of how the situation ultimately resolves, it’s clear that the outcome will have a lasting impact on the conservative news landscape and the media industry as a whole.
During a recent appearance on The View, Robert De Niro sparked controversy after being muted twice while delivering a harsh critique on the former President and conservative values.
The 80-year-old actor compared Trump to notorious dictators Adolf Hitler and Benito Mussolini, warning that if he gets re-elected would signal dire consequences for the country. His comments were so intense that the show’s producers muted him twice, with De Niro even apologizing for his language before continuing his rant.
What did Jesse Watters say?
Fox News host Jesse Watters reacted strongly to De Niro’s outburst, accusing the veteran actor of having “completely lost his mind” in his later years. Watters dismissed the comparison between Trump and Mussolini, sarcastically noting that “most Democrats don’t even know who that is—they probably think he’s an appetizer at an Italian restaurant.”
Watters expressed surprise at De Niro’s continued anger, remarking, “I thought when people get older, they find peace. When I’m De Niro’s age, I hope to be basking in tranquility, but not De Niro. He’s lost his mind.”
Watters also took a jab at De Niro’s past work, referencing the actor’s famous role in the 1980 film Raging Bull. “Raging Bull—kind of liked the movie better,” he quipped after playing clips of De Niro’s muted rants.
De Niro won’t change
De Niro didn’t hold back during his appearance on The View, reiterating his disdain for conservatives . “Those people who support that kind of things with anger and hate, they’re going to see and regret,” he said.”
This latest clash between De Niro and conservative values highlights the ongoing divide between Hollywood and conservative media, with figures like Watters quick to criticize what they see as out-of-touch elites.
David Caruso is a name that resonates with many TV fans, especially those who were glued to their screens in the ’90s and early 2000s. Known for his intense performances and memorable roles, Caruso’s career is a story of high peaks and deep valleys.
Early Life and Career Beginnings
David Caruso was born on January 7, 1956, in Forest Hills, Queens, New York. His early life was marked by the challenges of growing up in a single-parent household after his parents divorced. Despite these hardships, Caruso was determined to make something of himself, and he found his calling in acting.
Caruso began his career with small roles in films and TV shows. Some of his early work includes appearances in Hill Street Blues, First Blood (1982), and An Officer and a Gentleman (1982). Though these roles were not large, they helped establish him as a reliable actor who brought intensity to his characters.
Breakthrough with NYPD Blue
David Caruso’s big break came in 1993 when he was cast as Detective John Kelly in the groundbreaking TV series NYPD Blue. The show was a critical and commercial success, and Caruso’s portrayal of the gritty, street-smart detective earned him widespread acclaim. He even received a Golden Globe Award for his performance.
However, Caruso’s time on NYPD Blue was short-lived. After just one season, he left the show due to reported disputes over his salary and creative control. This decision was highly controversial and is often cited as a pivotal moment in his career, as it led to a significant downturn in his professional opportunities.
Struggles in Film and a Surprising Comeback
After leaving NYPD Blue, Caruso attempted to transition to a film career, but it was not successful. Movies like Jade (1995) and Kiss of Death (1995) were box office disappointments, and Caruso found himself struggling to regain the momentum he had lost.
In 2002, however, Caruso made a remarkable comeback with the role of Horatio Caine in CSI: Miami. The show became a massive hit, and Caruso’s character, known for his signature one-liners and cool demeanor, became iconic. CSI: Miami ran for ten seasons, solidifying Caruso’s place in television history.
Why Does He Look Different Now?
In recent years, fans have noticed that David Caruso looks different from his earlier days on screen. While it’s important to avoid speculation, there are a few factors that could contribute to this change.
Firstly, aging is a natural process, and like anyone else, Caruso has aged since his peak years in Hollywood. Additionally, his decision to step away from acting after CSI: Miami ended may have contributed to a more relaxed lifestyle, which sometimes leads to changes in appearance.
There have been no confirmed reports of health issues or other personal struggles, so any changes in his appearance are likely just the result of time and the natural course of life. Caruso has largely stayed out of the public eye since the conclusion of CSI: Miami, which also contributes to the mystery surrounding his current look.
Legacy and Conclusion
David Caruso’s career is a fascinating example of the highs and lows that many actors experience in Hollywood. From his breakout role in NYPD Blue to his redemption in CSI: Miami, Caruso has left a lasting impact on television. Though he has stepped away from the spotlight in recent years, his work continues to be celebrated by fans around the world.
His story is a reminder that success in the entertainment industry can be fleeting, but also that comebacks are always possible with talent and determination. David Caruso’s legacy as an actor is secure, even as he enjoys a quieter life today.

Laura Ingraham, the conservative television host of Fox News Channel’s program “The Ingraham Angle,” has become a household name since the show’s inception in 2017.
The program features Ingraham interviewing guests and delivering sharp commentary on political and cultural issues, often critiquing the left.
Laura Ingraham’s Relationship Status
Laura Ingraham has never been married. Despite coming close to tying the knot, Ingraham remains single. In April 2005, she was engaged to James V. Reyes. However, the engagement did not culminate in marriage due to Ingraham’s breast cancer diagnosis and subsequent surgery, which led her to prioritize her health and recovery.
Family and Motherhood
Ingraham is the proud mother of three children, all of whom she adopted. She frequently shares glimpses of her family life on social media. For instance, she recently celebrated her daughter Maria’s 19th birthday with a heartfelt message on Instagram: “Happy Birthday to my sweet, beautiful, and sassy daughter, Maria! I love you so much.”
Past Relationships
Over the years, Ingraham’s personal life has made headlines, particularly her relationships with influential men. During her time at Dartmouth University, she was reportedly engaged to Dinesh D’Souza, a prominent filmmaker, author, and political commentator. Although their engagement was short-lived, Ingraham has remained supportive of D’Souza.
In 2014, she defended him during his legal troubles related to campaign funding fraud, writing a letter to the presiding court attesting to his good character.
Balancing Public and Private Life
Laura Ingraham has successfully maintained a clear boundary between her personal life and her professional career. While she is a prominent figure in journalism and political commentary, she chooses to keep the details of her family and dating history largely private.
‘Won’t ever be the same,’ Strait said after the loss of his long time friend
Country music icon George Strait is facing a profound loss as he recently announced the deaths of two cherished members of his musical family on the same day. The legendary singer expressed his grief on his Facebook page over the passing of his manager, Eugene Ervine “Erv” Woolsey, and his band member, Gene Elders.
Erv Woolsey, who had been Strait’s manager since the early 1980s, passed away at the age of 80 after complications from surgery.
What George said?
A Houston native and a graduate of Southwest Texas State University, Woolsey moved to Nashville where he made significant contributions to the music industry. Strait met Woolsey at The Prairie Rose, a nightclub Woolsey owned in San Marcos, which set the stage for their long-lasting partnership and friendship. Strait lamented:
“My manager for around 45 years and most importantly my friend for even longer, Erv Woolsey, passed away this morning. He had complications from a surgery and just couldn’t overcome it. He was a very tough man, and fought hard, but sadly it was just too much. We will miss him so very much and will never forget all the time we had together. Won’t ever be the same without him.”
On the same day, Strait also mourned the loss of Gene Elders, a key member of his Ace in the Hole band since 1984. Elders, who played the fiddle and mandolin, was remembered by Strait as a beloved “brother” in music.
“All of our prayers go out to both families. Me and the band won’t ever be the same without our brother Gene. We loved him so much. Go play with Mike again Geno. We’ll come join you guys later,” Strait posted.
The country music community and fans worldwide extend their deepest sympathies to George Strait during this difficult time, as he navigates the loss of two pivotal figures in his life and career.
Katie Holmes made a rare comment about her daughter, Suri Cruise, as the teen prepares to move away for college at Carnegie Mellon University.
“I’m proud of my daughter,” Katie, 45, told Town & Country about Suri, 18, in an interview published on Tuesday, August 13.
“Of course, I will miss the close proximity, but I’m really proud of her and I’m happy.”
The Dawson’s Creek alum then reflected on her own time as a student at Columbia University. “I remember being this age, this time of beginnings,” she said.
“It’s exciting to learn about yourself, and I loved that time, so it makes me happy to think about it like that.”
Suri – whom Katie shares with ex-husband Tom Cruise – revealed her college plans.
While participating in a TikTok video with her classmates at New York City’s LaGuardia High School in May. During their school’s “decision day,” she proudly wore a Carnegie Mellon sweatshirt to declare she committed to the university in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
While it’s not currently known what Suri plans to study in college, she has been known to participate in her school plays during her high school experience. In May, she starred in a production of Head Over Heels, which is a Broadway show that features music from the 1980’s girl group The Go-Go’s.
The production made headlines after a photo of the casting sheet circulated online, revealing that Suri had used her mother’s middle name in place of “Cruise.”
Suri’s private life has kept out of the spotlight, though it’s been speculated that Tom, 62, was absent from her life after he and Katie divorced in 2012. An insider exclusively told In Touch that “Tom has chosen not to see Suri” for the “last 11 years.”
The source further explained that the last time the Top Gun actor saw his youngest daughter was in September 2013, and there appears to be no legal reason he didn’t keep in touch with her. “It was entirely Tom’s decision not to see Suri,” the insider dished.
Despite not having a close relationship with her father, Suri seems to have a tight bond with Katie. In June, the Alone Together actress revealed that she has taken fashion inspiration from her only daughter while speaking to the U.K. newspaper The Times.
“When my child was really small, I was drawn to wearing a lot of dresses,” she explained. “You do go through these different phases of motherhood and they inform what you feel comfortable in and what you don’t. So over the years my style has changed here and there.”
After adding that her current style is “practical and comfortable,” the Logan Lucky actress said that her most recent wardrobe has staples including “ballet flats, sneakers, baggy jeans and a T-shirt.”
Meanwhile, she said Suri “has her own sense of style and her own expressions.” Despite their different clothing preferences, Katie said that Suri has taken items out of her closet. “Sometimes the basics definitely disappear. But that’s fine,” the Ohio native said.

Suri Cruise was spotted enjoying the sunshine in New York City on Saturday afternoon — as she prepares to head off to college in the fall.
The daughter of Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise, 18, is reportedly just one week away from moving to the dorms at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
On Saturday, Suri looked relaxed as she made her way down the sidewalk with a black tote bag over one shoulder.
She rocked a blue tank top styled with cutoff black sweatpants with a white drawstring.
Suri — who also ran errands on Friday — appeared makeup-free for her solo outing.
The teenager’s brunette hair was worn down and she slipped on colorful sneakers to complete her low-key outfit.
Suri enjoyed a brief reprieve from the summer sun while waiting to board the subway.
She looked like the spitting image of her actress mom Katie, who she’s lived with in NYC since 2012.
Suri graduated from New York’s famous LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts earlier in the summer.
Her father is said to have been absent from her life in recent years, except financially, but her physical resemblance to him was still strikingly clear.
The school, which was said to have inspired the movie Fame, has churned out a formidable array of celebrities over the years.
Notable alumni range from Al Pacino and Liza Minnelli to Jennifer Aniston and Adrien Brody to newer faces like Ansel Elgort and Timothee Chalamet.
Nicki Minaj, Azealia Banks and Awkwafina all attended LaGuardia High School, as did Madonna’s eldest daughter Lourdes Leon.
Having graduated high school, Suri will now attend the prestigious college Carnegie Mellon, where she is said to be ‘leaning towards’ studying fashion.
‘She is a smart girl, and she is turning into a very intelligent mature young woman,’ an insider recently revealed to DailyMail.com. ‘She has a very close group of loyal friends, and she knows exactly where she comes from.’
Suri’s mother on the other hand is said to be ‘overwhelmed’ at the prospect of Suri going off to Pittsburgh for college. ‘Katie takes great pride in her but is also extremely overprotective,’ a source shared.
Katie, who shot to fame on the teen drama Dawson’s Creek, started dating Tom in 2005 and got engaged to him seven weeks into the relationship.
Their Scientologist wedding was held at the Castello Orsini-Odescalchi in Bracciano in November 2006, seven months after Suri was born.
Katie filed in 2012 for a divorce that was finalized just 10 days later, with Katie retaining primary custody of Suri while Tom was granted visitation, via People.
Ron Miscavige, father of Scientology leader David Miscavige, told the MailOnline in 2016 that Katie’s misgivings about Scientology – including the effect it could have on Suri – contributed to her decision to leave Tom.
The Top Gun Maverick star reportedly paid Katie $400,000 a year until Suri’s 18th birthday, and will now send money for her college fees.
Tom has not been pictured with his daughter in 11 years, and in 2018 it was alleged that he had created distance between himself and Suri.
‘Every person is allowed to see their child if they wanted to,’ an insider told US Weekly ‘He chooses not to because she is not a Scientologist.’
