Iconic powerhouse actress Jamie Lee Curtis, 65, traded her signature pixie cut for a lengthier hairstyle on July 1. Curtis donned a shoulder-length bob and kept the color the same gray she is well-known for while on the set of the sequel of a fan-favorite 2000s movie she co-stars in with a famous red-headed actress.

Stepping out of her trailer on the set of the highly anticipated film “Freaky Friday 2,” the actress looked almost unrecognizable with her long gray locks. Photos snapped by paparazzi show that she also donned an all-black look, which included a cozy-looking cardigan and high-waisted pants.

Curtis held onto a bottle as she waited beside a black SUV to transport her to where she would be filming a few scenes for the day. Set to premiere in 2025, the public is excited to see the actress reprise her role as Tess Coleman and legendary entertainer Lindsay Lohan reprise her part as Curtis’ daughter, Anna Coleman.

Speaking to a media outlet last year (2023), Curtis highlighted how overdue a sequel to the classic was. “As I went around the world with ‘Halloween Ends,’ people wanted to know if there was going to be another ‘Freaky Friday’ […] When I came back, I called my friends at Disney and said, ‘It feels like there’s a movie to be made,’” she disclosed.

Photos showing Curtis with her long bob while filming the movie are not the first images to surface online from the film set. Disney Studios has also shared a photo on Instagram, showing the dynamic on-screen mother-daughter duo holding hands in front of their trailers.

Playing to the film’s original plot in which they swap bodies, Curtis sat on the steps of Lohan’s trailer while Lohan sat in front of hers. “The Colemans are back and coming to theatres in 2025! The sequel to Freaky Friday is now in production!” captioned the account.

While Curtis was recently spotted rocking a lengthier hairstyle, she sported her iconic gray pixie cut in the picture Disney shared on Instagram on June 24, which perhaps suggests that the actress will be seen with different hairstyles in the film.

Additionally, Curtis’ longer gray locks may strictly be specifically for the movie and not a permanent deviation from her signature look, which celebrity hairstylist Sean James has worked on before.

For the women of the IBLP, the only way to leave your family home was to marry so that authority could be passed from a father to a husband. “Even if you’re 40, you should remain at home,” she explained.

Jinger’s sister Jana is the oldest female out of the Duggar children at 33, and as far as we know, she still remains unwed and at home with parents Jim Bob and Michelle.

According to the IBLP, leaving home without marrying leaves a woman open to ‘attacks.’

“If you get a job or move out, you’re opening yourself up to Satan’s attacks because you don’t have an umbrella to protect you,” Jinger continued to explain, justifying her own choices growing up. “So that’s what I believed wholeheartedly, and that’s why I stayed.”

And it’s true — Jinger didn’t leave home until she and husband Jeremy Vuolo were married, which is exactly what all of her sisters have done so far too.

This isn’t the first time she’s described being taught to live in fear.

Jinger opened up about a heartbreaking time in her childhood when she thought she should turn down the chance to play with her friends or risk god’s wrath coming down on her.

“I thought I could be killed in a car accident on the way, because I didn’t know if God wanted me to stay home and read my Bible instead,” she recalled in an interview with People magazine.

Although she didn’t name Jana directly, it does seem like she was talking about her sister.

Given that all of the Duggar women have followed the same pattern of waiting for marriage before moving out, it stands to reason that Jana is also planning to live at home until she can fall under the protection of another umbrella by way of finding a husband.

We can’t help but feel bad that the Duggar kids were raised to be so afraid of the outside world. Hopefully Jinger’s book helps lessen some of that fear for the rest of her family, paving the way toward a happier life for all of them.

As the royal family prepares to celebrate Trooping the Colour in less than a week, Kate Middleton is speaking out. Kate sent the letter to a regiment of the British Army.

As the colonel of the Irish Guards, Kate was due to attend a parade called the Colonel’s Review, which is the Guards’ final rehearsal before participating in Trooping the Colour on Saturday. But because she’s no longer able to make it, she sent a letter apologizing that she would have to miss out.

Kate said she hopes she’ll be able to represent them again ‘very soon.’

“I wanted to write and let you know how proud I am of the entire Regiment ahead of the Colonel’s Review and Trooping the Colour,” she wrote. “I appreciate everyone trooping this year has been practicing for months, and dedicating many hours to ensuring their uniforms and drill are immaculate.”

Kate continued, “Being your Colonel remains a great honour, and I am very sorry that I’m unable to take the salute at this year’s Colonel’s Review.”

The love and respect seem to be mutual.

Lt. Col. James Shaw issued a statement to GB News on behalf of the part of the military that performs in Trooping the Colour.

“We wish the Colonel of the Irish Guards the best of best wishes for her recovery. And again, the Irish Guards are hugely proud to have her as their Colonel and want to put on a really special show this year,” he said.

According to what royal expert Katie Nicholl told Entertainment Tonight, treatment has reportedly been very difficult for Kate.

“She’s going through very grueling treatment that has really taken its toll on her,” Nicholl said. “While I’m told that she’s turned a corner and she’s doing better, she’s still going to be prone to infection as she goes through this preventative chemotherapy.”
