Actor Jonathan Tucker helped rescue a neighbor’s family in Los Angeles’ Hancock Park neighborhood on June 2 during an attempted home invasion that was confirmed by Los Angeles Times.

The suspect had entered the residence but later fled, an LAPD representative said on June 4. Officers who had been alerted to a “hot prowl” apprehended a man in his 30s. That man was taken into custody without incident.

Tucker’s representative confirmed the Westworld actor’s involvement but said the actor was not “engaging on the interview front.”

Tucker called 911 around 6:20 p.m. after he noticed someone banging on doors in his neighborhood, police told Los Angeles Magazine.

Shortly after, the 42-year-old City on a Hill veteran saw that a neighbor’s front door was open and burst into action. In video obtained by KTLA, screams could be heard coming from inside after the suspect entered but before Tucker’s arrival. The actor, barefoot and carrying a bag he said was filled with protective equipment, went into the home right after the homeowner, who told the station that he had been out but came home quickly after getting a phone notification.

Tucker carried a young girl out of the house, reportedly handing her to his wife, Tara. He then went back inside and found the girl’s mother and an infant, who both appeared distressed.

LAPD appeared at the scene within minutes of Tucker’s call, KTLA said.

The homeowner, who declined to be identified on camera, was grateful for Tucker’s response. “He took action,” the homeowner told the station.

He called the incident a “traumatizing experience.” No damage was done, the homeowner said.

Tucker, who played Jay Kulina for three seasons on the series Kingdom, declined to talk on camera but can be heard off-camera in the KTLA video shouting thanks to the officers who responded, setting off a small round of applause from people who had watched events unfold.

“If you want a quote, call the LAPD because those guys are the real heroes. They put their lives on the line every day multiple times a day,” he told Los Angeles Magazine. “They responded within minutes, while I was still on the phone with a 911 dispatcher. It was an extraordinary response.”

Pressured by Hollywood and demanding fans who impose impossible standards of perfection, many celebrities are relentlessly pursuing youth in the hope of achieving eternal beauty.

Defying the expectations of others, Helen Hunt is elegantly embracing the imperfections of aging, and she looks stunning!

Having been on television shows since childhood, Helen Hunt grew up on screen with millions of fans watching her transformation from a fresh-faced girl to the accomplished 59-year-old she is today. The passage of years is evident on her face, adding to her natural beauty.

Hunt began her acting career at the tender age of 11. She got her big break in “The Swiss Family Robinson,” a TV series that aired from 1975 to 1976, centered around a shipwrecked family stranded on a volcanic island. In the show, she portrayed Helga Wagner, a young girl from the same shipwreck, who was taken in by the Robinsons.

She later appeared as the daughter of Murray Slaughter (played by Gavin McLeod) on “The Mary Tyler Moore Show,” in an episode of “The Bionic Woman” alongside Lindsay Wagner, and in “Facts of Life.” Her first major movie role was in “Rollercoaster” (1977), where she acted alongside Hollywood legends Henry Fonda and George Segal.

The following decade catapulted her to stardom with roles in iconic 80s films such as “Girls Just Want to Have Fun” (1985), alongside another emerging star, Sarah Jessica Parker, “Project X” (1987) with Matthew Broderick, and “Next of Kin” (1989) with the late Patrick Swayze, and Ben Stiller in one of his earlier roles.

In the 1990s, Hunt became a household name with her breakthrough TV performance in the popular comedy series “Mad About You,” where she starred alongside Paul Reiser, who later appeared in the Netflix series “Stranger Things.”

She won four consecutive Emmy Awards and three Golden Globes for her comedic portrayal of one half of a newlywed couple. She even directed some episodes, including the series finale in 1999.

In an interview with People, Hunt talked about her daughter and Reiser, saying, “…My daughter loves ‘Stranger Things,’ so now when he calls, she’s excited. She’s never seen an episode of ‘Mad About You,’ but she’s super psyched about ‘Stranger Things!’”. Hunt has one daughter, born in 2004, with Matthew Carnahan, her partner of 16 years.

Hunt is also known for her role as a storm chaser in the adrenaline-fueled movie “Twister” (1996), her Academy Award-winning performance in “As Good as It Gets” (1997), alongside Hollywood legend Jack Nicholson, and appearances in “Cast Away” (2000) and “What Women Want.”

More recently, she plays a journalist in BBC’s “World on Fire” and has a recurring role in “Blindspotting.” She has also lent her directing skills to shows like “Californication,” “House of Lies,” and “This Is Us.”

In 2021, she revealed that she was working on a “Twister” reboot with a diverse cast of storm chasers from historically Black colleges and universities (HBCUs), but the project was rejected.

“I tried to get it made,” Hunt said in 2021. “I was going to direct it… We could barely get a meeting, and this is in June of 2020 when it was all about diversity. It would have been so cool.”

Universal Pictures is set to release “Twisters” without Hunt in July 2024.

Throughout the years, Hunt, who has amassed numerous awards and nominations, has been a fixture in Hollywood culture with her timeless performances and beauty.

As one of the most recognizable faces in Hollywood, a face that has matured gracefully over the years, she has recently been the subject of many conversations.

After more than a year since Robin William’s tragic death, the late actor’s wife, Susan Schneider Williams is ready to open up about the details surrounding her husband’s death. In an exclusive interview with ABC news, Susan surprises the public with the fact that Robin’s depression was only one symptom of a much bigger underlying condition.

Married on October 22nd, 2011, Susan describes her marriage with Robin as a very happy and fulfilling one. “It’s the best love I’ve ever dreamed of… a love would be based on just honor, love, respect,” she says.

Susan vulnerably shares the moments she realized she had lost Robin. “Call me when he’s up”, Susan recalls telling her assistant after leaving their home in the morning. “And then she sent me a text and said ‘He’s not up yet, what should I do?’, and I said ‘Wake him!’ and then she called me back…. that twenty-minute car ride- I just screamed the whole way.”

While Robin William’s death came as a complete shock to Susan, she says they had actually been going through a harrowing medical journey for some time. “We were living a nightmare,” she says.

The Real Cause of Robin Williams’ Death

In November 2013, Robin began to experience gut pain. But then, with each passing month, new symptoms began to pop up. “It was like an endless parade of symptoms”, Susan describes. She even confesses to wondering whether Robin was a hypochondriac at the time.

In May 2014, Robin was diagnosed with early stages of Parkinson’s disease. “My best friend was sinking…He was keeping it together as best as he could, but the last month he was not. It was like the dam broke.” She said throughout his medical journey, it never crossed her mind that Robin might be suicidal. However, Robin’s autopsy actually revealed that he was suffering from Lewy body dementia, a progressive brain disorder that affects 1.4 million Americans

Named after Friederich H. Lewy, who discovered abnormal protein deposits that depleted dopamine levels while conducting research of Parkinson’s, Lewy Body dementia affects both cognition and physical health; it can lead to problems with blood pressure, bladder control, temperature regulation. People with Lewy body dementia can undergo dramatic changes in behavior and emotion, suffer from hallucinations, sleep problems, memory failure, and trouble with perception.

Susan Schneider Williams: Watch Interview

Since first opening up about Robin’s condition, Susan has penned a medical essay which was published in the medical journal Neurology. In it, she shares more details about the time leading up to Robin’s death. The essay includes emotional details of their lives:

“Robin was losing his mind and he was aware of it. Can you imagine the pain he felt as he experienced himself disintegrating? And not from something he would ever know the name of or understand? Neither he nor anyone could stop it—no amount of intelligence or love could hold it back.” (3)

She hopes sharing the story of Robin’s symptoms leading up to his death will help encourage further research into Lewy body dementia (LBD) so doctors can better diagnose and treat others suffering from it.

Robin states, “Hopefully from this sharing of our experience you will be inspired to turn Robin’s suffering into something meaningful through your work and wisdom. It is my belief that when healing comes out of Robin’s experience, he will not have battled and died in vain. ”

John Goodman has been on our screens since the 1980s, but during his latest appearance, the 71-year-old, who celebrates his birthday on Tuesday, looks totally different from the man we remember.

Appearing at the Monte-Carlo Television Festival in Monaco, John looked almost unrecognizable, having shed 200 lb – but he didn’t do it via a quick fix or a fad diet, and reportedly took 16 years to drop the weight, beginning his journey in 2007, when he weighed 400 lbs.

John revealed that his weight loss required a total switch in mindset, explaining to ABC in 2017: “In the old days, I would take three months out, lose 60 or 70 pounds, and then reward myself with a six-pack or whatever and just go back to my old habits.

“This time, I wanted to do it slowly. Move, exercise. I’m getting to the age where I can’t afford to sit still anymore.”

How did John Goodman lose weight?

In his quest for a healthier life, John said he gave up drinking alcohol and hired a personal trainer, as well as following a Mediterranean-style diet, which comprises mostly of fish, olive oil, vegetables, nuts and fruit. He also tried to walk 10,000 to 12,000 steps a day.

Well aware that he needs to stick to his healthy living, John said in a 2011 chat with David Letterman: “It’s going to be an ongoing process for the rest of my life.”

Fans were impressed by John’s dedication, writing messages of praise on Twitter. “John Goodman is almost unrecognizable with his weight loss. He looks good,” one wrote, while another added: “Wow. I wouldn’t recognise him, he looks so different in the face.”

Did John Goodman use Ozempic to lose weight?

Others wondered if John has been taking weight loss drug Ozempic, which helps to reset your metabolism. It mimics the hormone produced by your digestive system in response to eating food and acts on both the brain and the digestive system to regulate how full you feel after a meal.

John has not commented on whether he’s used the controversial drug, but given his long-term approach to eating healthily and moving more, we doubt he’s opted to use it.

As the most awarded country music singer ever, a devoted wife, and mother to six children, Loretta Lynn had one heck of a journey.

Growing up in the coal-mining hills of Kentucky, she was dirt poor – and her mother reportedly used Sears catalog pages as wallpaper.

She married Oliver “Mooney” Lynn when she was only 16 andaccording to the girl herself, it took a while before she learned where babies came from …

Keep on reading to find out everything about ”the coal miner’s daughter” – and her sad, last words before she died…

Country legend Loretta Lynn was born April 14, 1932, in Butcher Hollow, Kentucky, the second oldest of eight children. Her mother loved American actress Loretta Young and decided to name her daughter after her. Loretta’s father was a coal miner who died of black lung disease at 52.

Her family were poor by anyone’s standards, and Loretta’s early life was often tough.

”The winters were cold, so my mommy glued newspapers and pages from old Sears Roebuck catalogs to the wall to help keep the cold out. We didn’t have money for wallpaper, but my mommy made that old house stay warm and beautiful,” Loretta said.

She married first husband Oliver “Doolittle” Lynn when she was just 16 years old and he was 21. Loretta was a young stay-at-home-wife, and her husband worked as a logger to provide for the family.

The family eventually decided to move from Kentucky to the logging community of Custer, Washington. It was there Loretta suddenly started getting sick in the mornings – but had no idea why. She decided to see her doctor, who in turn asked her to get undressed.

”I just pulled the sheet over my head, like an ostrich. When he was done, Doc told me I could get dressed again. After that, he put his arm around my waist and he said, ’Honey, your trouble is, you’re pregnant,” Loretta explained in her book “Loretta Lynn: Coal Miner’s Daughter”.

The news came as shock for the young and innocent Loretta, still a minor at the time. She insisted that she didn’t know what the word pregnant meant, or where babies came from.

“I never knew where babies came from until it happened to me,” she once famously said.

Her first son, Jack, was born in December 1949. His birth story says a lot about the circumstances in which Loretta and her family lived. Because she couldn’t afford to stay at the hospital overnight, Loretta headed back home just hours after giving birth to Jack.

After her second baby, Loretta suffered two miscarriages. Unfortunately, the second miscarriage resulted in blood poisoning, and once again, she couldn’t afford to go to the hospital. She managed to survive, but it was a close run thing.

Despite it all, Loretta continued to fall pregnant. While expecting her third child, doctors said Loretta needed a Cesarean section. But there was a problem – she needed her husband’s signature to go through with the procedure.

Incredibly, since she was still a minor, she couldn’t sign her own consent form. This became a major problem as nobody could get a hold of her husband, Doolittle; he was out working in the woods. After being at the hospital for days, Loretta finally delivered her baby the natural way, and everything went fine.

“Doo called in from some logging camp and they kept teasing him. First they said it was a boy, then a girl, then a boy again. But it was a boy, and we named him Ernest Ray,” Loretta said.

Before the age of 20, Loretta had four children. As a stay-at-home mom, she barely went out (paying a babysitter wasn’t an option with the family’s estranged economic situation).

However, her husband liked to go out with his friends and drink beer. Sadly, he also went behind Loretta’s back and met other women. But Loretta remained utterly devoted to her husband, despite his constant cheating, something not all women in her position would have done.

”I married Doo when I wasn’t but a child, and he was my life from that day on,” Lynn later wrote in her 2002 memoir Still Woman Enough.

“But as important as my youth and upbringing was, there’s something else that made me stick to Doo. He thought I was something special, more special than anyone else in the world, and never let me forget it. That belief would be hard to shove out the door. Doo was my security, my safety net.

“Doo was a good man and a hard worker. But he was an alcoholic, and it affected our marriage all the way through.”

The happiness and heartache during the early years of her complicated marriage would later inspire Lorettas’s songwriting, so at least something good came out of it.

Loretta dealt with heartbreak after heartbreak, violence, and rejection, but she never gave up, and even channeled her feelings into her music, stating she never wrote a song without including her husband in her lyrics. Through her music, she charted his affairs, and even the time she attacked another woman who was interfering in their marriage.

According to Loretta herself: “If you can’t fight for your man, he’s not worth having.”

When asked why she didn’t leave Doo, Loretta once gave a clear answer:

“I put up with it because of six kids.”

The country music queen stayed in that marriage until Doolittle died in 1996, at the age of 69. The loss was hard for her to bear, and her kids thought she would never recover from it.

“Three days after my husband died, I left Hurricane Mills and come to Nashville,” she said in an interview in 2000.

“After bein’ here awhile, I said to a friend of mine, ‘It seems like I been here a couple months already.’ And she said, ‘You been here a year.’”

Thankfully, Loretta was able to pick up the pieces and focused on caring for and supporting her family, including her children and three grandchildren, while still making music.

Loretta Lynn children

Sadly, not all of Loretta’s children are still alive today.

Her oldest child, Betty Sue Lynn, was born in 1948. She was her mother’s right hand and worked closely with Loretta during her music career. Betty actually wrote a couple of songs for her mom, including “Wine, Women and Song.” Unfortunately, Betty passed away in 2013 from complications to do with emphysema. She was 64.

Loretta’s first son, Jack Benny Lynn, was born in 1949. But, unlike his mother and siblings, Jack didn’t pursue a career in the music industry.

Instead, he dedicated his life to horses and became a successful horse trainer and blacksmith. However, his life was destined to end tragically. One day in 1984, Jack drowned trying to cross a river with his horse on the family property. He was 54 at the time, and had a wife and three kids.

Everyone thought Loretta would be completely devastated over Jack’s passing; he was her heart’s favorite among her six children. But it took a while before she got the terrible news; Loretta was being treated in hospital for exhaustion when Jack died. Then, after a couple of days, her husband had to drive up to the hospital to deliver the tragic information.

“She took it much better than we expected,” said her manager of 12 years, David Skepner. “Loretta’s going to be all right.”

Loretta Lynn, center, is assisted by her husband, Mooney, July 27 as they leave a funeral for their son.

But of course, Jack’s sudden death took a heavy toll on Loretta – no parent shouldn’t have to bury their baby. In 2021, on the anniversary of his passing, Loretta shared a heartbreaking tribute to her beloved son:

“He was a spitting image of his daddy. He was my blond-headed, blue-eyed baby. Just what I asked for. He was quiet and tender. I adored him with all my heart. He and Betty Sue got into everything when they were little and I was a new momma,” she wrote on Facebook.

Loretta’s third child, Clara “Cissie” Marie Lynn, was born in 1952. She also worked for her mother as a producer.

Ernest Ray Lynn, meanwhile, born in 1954, also followed in his mother’s footsteps and made a career in the entertainment industry as a performer.

In 1964, Loretta gave birth to twin girls Peggy and Patsy. They made music together and the duo, called “The Lynns”, had a hit in 1997 with the song “Woman to Woman”.

Peggy and Patsy also tried their hand in the acting profession, even landing a role in the “Walker Texas Ranger” series, where they featured as themselves, alongside Chuck Norris in the lead role.

Loretta Lynn went through a lot in her life, and her family has now expanded with grandchildren. During the holidays, Loretta was always reminded of what she lost – but also what she still had.

”I can’t tell you how much I wish Doo, Jack, and Betty were with us today. My heart’s never gotten over losing those three. Yet, I’m so grateful for the four I still have…,” she said last year.

Lynn suffered a stroke in 2018 and broke her hip in 2018, but bounced back to record more music. Still, she’s often been the subject of rumors about her declining health: a report in 2019 said she was in a nursing home and near-death, which she happily disputed.

“Well, through the years they’ve said I’m broke, homeless, cheating, drinking, gone crazy, terminally ill, and even dead!” she wrote on Facebook. “Poor things can’t ever get it right.”

In fact, despite her old age, Lynn continued to record music, and released her milestone 50th studio album last year, just before her 89th birthday.

Still Woman Enough, a mixture of classic songs and new material, was released in 2022, to positive reviews. It peaked at #9 on the US country albums chart.

Loretta Lynn’s death, on October 4, 2022, undoubtedly left a big hole in the hearts of a lot of country music fans. Her death happened due to natural causes.

She is survived by four of her children – Clara, Ernest, and twins Peggy Jean and Patsy Eileen.

Insiders who were close to the late entertainer disclosed that as her final moments neared, Lynn confided in them, revealing her most intimate secrets. According to Radar Online, among these revelations were her feelings of love for country music icon Conway Twitty and the reasons behind her envy of her closest friend, Dolly Parton.

“Loretta had time to take stock of her life during her final days,” a family friend said, according to the gossip magazine.

“She was proud of her tremendous accomplishments but kept some never-voiced secret sorrows she needed to unburden before joining her lost loved ones on the other side,” the friend added.

The insider disclosed that Loretta’s most profound remorse stemmed from disregarding her mother Clary’s ominous caution regarding the purchase of their expansive 3,500-acre ranch with Doo back in 1966 – the place where Jack drowned back in 1984.

In her final moments, Loretta confessed, ‘I wish I had heeded my mother’s advice,’ as shared by a close friend.

”She passed away with the belief that her house was under a curse.’”

When she starred in the cult television show Three’s Company, Joyce DeWitt, 74, became a household name. The actress worked about a decade in the business, but after the show was canceled, she decided to take a long break from Hollywood.

DeWitt is back working in the business after having starred in several television shows and films. And still, to this day, the 74-year-old looks just as amazing as decades ago!

So what made Joyce DeWitt leave Hollywood? And why did she and co-star Suzanne Somers not speak for 30 years? This is all you need to know about her – and her last meeting with Three’s Company co-star John Ritter before his passing

Three's Company

On April 23, 1949, Joyce DeWitt was born in Wheeling, West Virginia. She was the second oldest of four to her parents, Paul and Norma DeWitt, and her childhood was split between West Virginia and Indiana.

Joyce DeWitt – early life
Performing was always something that was on Joyce’s mind. In fact, she knew before she started school that she wanted to perform.

“Growing up, I was a total movie-holic, but I always wanted to play the role that Clark Gable was playing or Spencer Tracy was playing. I was really never interested in the parts that women were playing,” she told Playbill. “I found the parts that guys were playing were so much more interesting.”

“[Performing] was never a hobby. I wasn’t even in school yet, and I knew what I was going to do. Of course, everybody just laughed at me. I knew very early on.”

Joyce DeWitt made her debut on stage when she was 13. It became her second home, and by that time, she had an enormous passion and love for performing. Joyce began taking acting lessons when she was attending Speedway Senior High School and later enrolled at Ball State University, from where she graduated in 1972. However, the up-and-coming actress was very intent on life in New York, where she wanted to work in theater.

Like many actors and actresses before her, “The Big Apple” was full of competition and could be a very rough place for some. That became clear for Joyce DeWitt, as she struggled once arriving in New York. She always wanted to work on Broadway, but she realized that it had to wait.

Joyce DeWitt

Instead, she did a summer-stock season in Chicago after finishing her undergraduate work and later moved to the west coast to enroll at UCLA for grad school.

Starred as Janet Woods in ‘Three’s Company’
DeWitt kept her focus on returning to New York City to pursue her dream of working on Broadway. However, life had other plans for her.

She finished her Master of Fine Arts at UCLA and was cast in Stop the World, I Want To Get Off. Finally, DeWitt was off, and it didn’t take long before her big breakthrough landed in front of her.

Not long after, Joyce DeWitt found herself in the casting room for the pilot of a new television comedy series named Three’s Company. At the time, she had no idea that it would become somewhat a cult series – and it was the beginning of a new life for DeWitt.

Starring as Janet Wood alongside John Ritter and Suzanne Somers, DeWitt became a television icon. She appeared in 171 episodes of the show between 1976 and 1984.

“It was such a gift. I mean, it was iconic. But who would have thought it?” Joyce DeWitt told The Spec. “All we were trying to do was make people laugh. When I think about it, the show was really an attempt to do a contemporary version of a 16th-century farce. It was about silliness running wild. I mean, we were talking about serious issues at times, but that was always somewhere underneath.”

Joyce DeWitt, Suzanne Somers, John Ritter

“John Ritter used to say, ‘We don’t want people to just laugh but to fall over their couch laughing,’” she added. “The real issue was always the depth of friendship and the love those characters had for each other. That’s what drew people to them.”

Joyce DeWitt left Hollywood for 12 years after ‘Three’s Company’
In 1984, Three’s Company was canceled. The show won 1 Primetime Emmy and had turned the cast into big celebrities. However, when it was shut down, Joyce DeWitt wasn’t the one complaining.

In fact, after eight years on the show, she felt that it was the perfect moment to move on.

“It was time,” she said. “I was ready for quiet and reflection. I loved being Janet, but she was never my whole reason for getting up in the morning. My identity and self-worth weren’t wrapped up in her, and that show.”

“Of course, there’s a lonely period. I missed the characters as much as the people who played them,” she added. “But I’m basically a hermit. My natural instinct is to go into the cave and ponder, not stand outside and howl. ‘Oh, I have a gregarious side, but there’s the inner Joyce too.’”

Joyce DeWitt had only appeared in a couple of productions at that time, with Three’s Company being her main work for years. So one might think that since she was only at the beginning of her career as an actress, she’d be up for more work.

However, Joyce did the complete opposite. She didn’t enjoy being famous at all, and initially, the actress was only supposed to take some time off. But she disappeared for more than a decade, something she doesn’t regret at all.

Joyce DeWitt

“Regrets are a dangerous thing. I am very fortunate that in my life I have only twice regretted something, and that was 10 or 15 years later,” she told GayCalgary in 2009.

“I wasn’t sure I wanted to play it”
“If I had to do it over again, I couldn’t change it. I was going to take six months off just to chill out. I saw Hollywood and the way it behaved, and it was not a moral code that was natural to me. If this was the way the game was played, I wasn’t sure I wanted to play it. I took some time off and started meeting and studying with different spiritual teachers around the world. I thought it would be six months, not 12 years. “

Joyce DeWitt returned to the screen in 1995, doing minor roles in the television series Cybill and Hope Island and some movies.

Even though a decade had gone by since doing Three’s Company, fans still remembered her and complimented her on the role. It turned out that she – the role of Janet Woods – had changed people’s lives.

“I have had women in their 30s come to me and say I became a lawyer because of you,” DeWitt said. “I knew women could be smart and have away in the world. (And) I loved playing [Janet], and I did fight hard to play her the way I wanted to play her.”

Working with John Ritter and Suzanne Somers was something she loved doing. However, Somers left the show in 1980 after not getting equal pay to her male co-star John Ritter.

“They painted me as she’s trying to ruin the show,” Somers said in 2020. “So, I never talked to anybody on that show ever again. Ever again.”

Joyce DeWitt recalled last night with John Ritter before his passing
DeWitt and Somers lost all contact, and more than 30 years passed before they spoke again. Joyce joined Suzanne on her talk show, and the reunion in 2012 was something special.

“We had very different approaches to our careers,” DeWitt said of the relationship between her and Somers following the show. “We had very different needs. I did not have a child that I was supporting on my own. I didn’t have a business head, so I didn’t understand someone who did.”

On the other hand, Joyce DeWitt’s relationship with co-star John Ritter remained great. Ritter continued to act up until his passing in September 2003. According to reports, his sudden passing was due to an undetected flaw in his heart, called an aortic dissection.

While appearing on Somers’ talk show, DeWitt reminisced about the last time she saw her former co-star.

Ritter stayed in a hotel near her in New York City – and DeWitt told herself that it was fate. She called his hotel room and left him a message – and seconds later, he called back.

“As I’m walking out the door, the phone rings, and I pick it up, and it’s Johnathan,” she recalled. “And he goes, ‘Baby, we’ve got three parties and a dinner to do tonight. I’ll pick you up at 7!” It was so delicious … and a month later, he passed.”

Joyce DeWitt

Even though she returned to the screen after a decade of not working in television, Joyce had one big dream that she still pursued.

Made her stage debut in 2011
She always wanted to work in theater, and in 2011, DeWitt’s dream came true as she made her stage debut in New York City.

The show – Miss Abigail’s Guide to Dating, Mating & Marriage – was off-Broadway, but it didn’t matter at all for DeWitt. Also, she felt that it was very similar to her role in Three’s Company, with the shot being a 90-minute long comedy,

“I’m just a late bloomer,” she told the San Diego Tribune. “It took me a long time to have confidence in my work.”

“[The show] allows us to play and be silly and funny and laugh about interactions of human beings,” DeWitt says. “The fact that the purpose of the play was to make people laugh and let them have a good time and every once in a while touch their hearts is my favorite kind of play to do.”

DeWitt continued to work on several projects, including the films Snapshot (2014), Rock Story (2015), and The Savant (2018).

In 2018, she got a part in the musical Scattered, Smothered & Covered Christmas, with the stage production set in a Waffle House. It was broadcast in December 2020 through Youtube because of the pandemic.

Joyce DeWitt today – family, children, net worth
“We are offering this play for free this Christmas because it has a message that needs to be shared in this very difficult circumstance we are in,” Joyce DeWitt shared. “It’s a magical journey of love and truth that deserves to be enjoyed by a worldwide audience.”

Joyce DeWitt doesn’t have any children, and there have been no reports of her ever being married. But the most important thing is that she seems to be doing great, still loving her work both on-screen and on the stage.

According to Celebrity Net Worth, Joyce DeWitt has a net worth of around $4 million.

So what is she most proud of in her career? The answer isn’t that big of a surprise.

“I don’t know that there is a proudest, but if asked to come up with one, it would have to be to have been a part of Three’s Company, and that’s an easy one to say because if as an actor you are given the opportunity to create joy and laugher in the world — that’s a great gift,” Joyce DeWitt explained.

“Any actor would say, ‘Thank you, thank you, thank you for this part.’ And if 30-some years later, it’s still doing that? Basically, that’s a fantasy you can’t even make up. You can’t even think of that one. It just shows up in your life.”

At 74 years of age, it doesn’t look like DeWitt will stop working as an actress any time soon. But still, to this day, she sure looks fantastic!

We wish her all the best in the future. Please, share this article with friends and family if you also watched Three’s Company.

The family sitcom “My Three Sons” is still regarded as one of the best series, though it ended decades ago. What happened to the real-life triplets who acted as Robbie Douglas’ children? Let’s take a look.

“My Three Sons” was a top-rated sitcom that was loved by many. It ran for twelve seasons between 1960 to 1972, first on ABC, then on CBS, telling the story of the members of the Douglas Family, who disappear with alarming regularity.

That series is an early example of a TV show transcending the traditional idea of a nuclear family, which is just part of its legacy.

“My Three Sons” was considered a cornerstone of the ABC and CBC lineups in the 60s. A total of 380 episodes were produced. Let’s take a look at the casts from the show who played the roles of the three sons.

Tim Considine
In “My Three Sons,” 82-year-old American actor Tim Considine played Mike Douglas, Steve Douglas’ oldest son. Mike lives with his widower father for years, and at some point, he grows to an age where he feels he is grown enough to question his father’s decisions.

The character left the series in its fifth season, when he got married and suddenly disappeared. Steve informs Mike’s siblings, Chip and Robbie, that their brother went on a honeymoon, and later, he revealed that Mike had “moved east.”

Stanley Livingston played the role of Steve Douglas’ youngest son and the most stupid of the original three sons. Although many might not remember much about him, he was the only one of Steve’s three sons left to witness his father’s death.

Don Grady
American actor Don Grady acted as Robbie Douglas, sibling to Mike Douglas and Chip Douglas. In the movie, Robbie gets married as a teenager to his college friend, Katie, and the pair become parents to triplets. At some point, Robbie leaves, and Katie is left to cater to their triplets.

Meet the Triplets
The triplets’ roles spanned only two years between 1970 to 1972 before the show stopped airing. Decades have passed since “My Three Sons” aired, and the triplets have become unrecognizable and very handsome.

A Facebook post shared by American actress Tina Cole showed a then-and-now picture of the siblings. The monochrome throwback picture showed the trio as kids, clad in matching outfits.

On the other hand, the recent picture of the brothers showed them all grown up, looking cheerful and sharing a striking resemblance.

One of the trio, Joe Todd, who starred as Charley Douglas, alongside his real-life siblings, Dan Todd and Michael Todd, gave a detailed explanation of his and his siblings’ role.

Joe made it known that his grandmother spotted the newspaper ad seeking twins to join the cast of “My Three Sons.” According to Joe, his grandmother informed the series producers that she could add an extra cast to the twins needed.

Joe’s grandmother’s idea appeared to be the best fit for the sitcom, as it was great to use triplets in a show called “My Three Sons.” As opposed to child stars landing roles due to their talent, Joe and his brothers were only picked because they were siblings.

Acting like a kid in the series, Joe could barely recount his experiences while on set. However, he revealed that he could remember everybody was friendly to him and his brothers because they were children. Growing up, Joe realized that the sitcom left many fans glued to their screens.

Life after “My Three Sons”
After making appearances on “My Three Sons,” Dan, Michael, and Joe got to do commercials for products and establishments like “Doublemint Chewing Gum,” the California restaurant chain, “Mr. Steak,” amongst others.

In 1989, fans of the three brothers got a glimpse of them on the talk show, “The Joan Rivers Show.” Although Joe and his brothers appeared on the screen for some time, their careers in the movie industry were short-lived, and they headed in a very different direction.

The trio eventually went to college, and after a short time, they dropped out to join the Army— a decision that Joe described as the best thing they could ever have done. Joe said he and his brothers decided to serve their country to find their individuality.

At age 19, the triplets were sent to different areas in Germany for their first tour of duty. Todd served in the Army’s medic department for 20 years, and in March 2007, he retired. Even though Joe retired, he still taught Soldier Medics at Fort Sam Houston.

Not long after, he joined the civil service to continue training soldiers. Joe said to avoid some challenges child stars faced, he looked at himself as less of a child actor since he acted for a short time.

Instead, he taught the value of resiliency to the uniformed and civilian members of the MICC workforce. On the other hand, Michael served in the military as a combat engineer for several years before he retired. Currently, he is a teacher at the Army Medical Department at Camp Bullis.

For Dan, he served in the Army for eight years, after which he quit and decided to get a degree from the University of Houston. After his graduation, he opened a small business in Houston.

A Reunion to Remember
In 2009, the cast from “My Three Sons” reunited on “The Early Show” to discuss what working on the series felt like. Livingston described the experience as living in another world.

The movie stars also made jokes about their roles and different scenes in the sitcom. Cole, who played Katie, revealed that some of the married characters could not stand each other by the end of one of the scenes, making it challenging to play couples.

However, in one of the episodes, the director of the show, Frederick De Cordova, found a way to end a scene with Robbie and Katie sharing a real embrace. Livingston joked that the embrace led to the birth of the triplets.
