In the world of political and social commentary, clashes and feuds are no strangers. Our screens are often filled with intense debates and heated arguments.

But sometimes, a bit of humor and a well-timed quip can change the dynamic entirely. This was exactly what happened when Joy Behar of The View took on Greg Gutfeld, the self-proclaimed “King of Late Night.”

Let’s rewind to a lively episode of The View, where the discussion turned to Geraldo Rivera’s departure from Fox News’ The Five. As Behar humorously reflected on her own experience of being let go from The View, she couldn’t help but question Rivera’s claim of leaving the show voluntarily. “No one’s giving up these lucrative jobs so easily,” she quipped, eliciting laughter and agreement from the audience.

As the conversation shifted to Greg Gutfeld and his constant critiques of Behar and The View, co-host Sunny Hostin mentioned Gutfeld’s frequent mentions of Behar in his shows.

Feigning ignorance, Behar playfully asked, “Who is he?…I guess he’s just obsessed with me!” Her dismissive tone and genuine puzzlement struck a chord with the audience, who erupted in laughter and applause.

Gutfeld, known for his provocative style and satirical attacks on public figures, including Behar, has made a career out of his relentless critiques.

In his segments, he has compared Behar to Hitler’s wife and made derogatory comments about her age and appearance. But despite his provocations, Behar’s recent comments showcased her seasoned media personality and her ability to handle criticism with humor and grace.

The longstanding feud between Gutfeld and Behar is no secret. Gutfeld has often used Behar as his punching bag, framing her as a target for his audience’s disdain towards more liberal viewpoints.

However, Behar’s unbothered stance and lighthearted dismissal have turned the tables on the Fox News host. With her sharp wit and quick comebacks, Behar has effectively disarmed Gutfeld’s attacks, leaving him seemingly obsessed with an unflappable media personality.

While the Gutfeld-Behar feud continues, this moment on The View serves as a reminder of the power of humor in defusing tension and changing the narrative. In a world filled with fierce debates and relentless criticism, a well-timed quip can take the wind out of anyone’s sails.

If you want to delve deeper into the ongoing spar between Joy Behar and Greg Gutfeld, you can read the full discussions on The Daily Beast and Newsweek. In the meantime, let’s remember that sometimes, all it takes is a bit of humor to navigate the fiery landscape of political and social commentary.

Susan Boyle doesn’t need a backup track to sound like an angel.

In 2009, shortly after her Britain’s Got Talent Audition went viral, Boyle appeared on CNN’s Larry King Live to show off her vocal talents yet again. During her appearance, she sang a stunning, a cappella rendition of “My Heart Will Go On” by Celine Dion, clearly impressing Piers Morgan, who was featured in Boyle’s CNN interview segment.

What to know about “My Heart Will Go On” by Celine Dion

Written by James Horner and famously recorded by Dion as the theme song for the hit 1997 film Titanic, “My Heat Will Go On” reached the number-one position on the Billboard U.S. Hot 100 chart and was the best-selling single of 1998 (per MTV). The song also went on to win Grammy Awards for Record of the Year and Best Female Pop Vocal Performance.

In an interview with Billboard, Horner described the experience of listening to Dion record the song. “It was just electrifying. She was singing like her life depended on it,” he said.

Fun fact: the vocals to “My Heart Will Go On” were recorded in one take.

“Near, far, wherever you are,” Dion sings on the track. “I believe that the heart does go on. Once more, you open the door. And you’re here in my heart. And my heart will go on and on.”

And at the end, Dion wails, “You’re here, there’s nothing I fear. And I know that my heart will go on. We’ll stay forever this way. You are safe in my heart and
My heart will go on and on.”

Susan Boyle appears on NBC News' "Today" show.

The song has not only become synonymous with the movie Titanic, it’s a pinnacle of ’90s pop culture at large. The track epitomizes a very specific moment in time — and, perhaps most importantly, immortalizes the heartthrob status of Leonardo DiCaprio. It’s become a karaoke staple and wedding song favorite.

Céline Dion sang at the Paris Olympic Games opening ceremony on Friday, marking her first public performance since 2020.

Quebec singer had not performed since being diagnosed with stiff-person syndrome

Céline Dion sang at the Paris Olympic Games opening ceremony on Friday, marking her first public performance since 2020.

The Games saved Dion for the end of the four-hour-long event, when she performed French singer Edith Piaf’s 1950 song Hymne à l’amour from the balcony of the glowing Eiffel Tower after the Olympic torch was lit.

She’s back: Celine Dion performed at the Paris Olympics
Celine Dion was the finale of the Paris Olympics opening ceremony on Friday – marking her first public concert in years since battling stiff person syndrome. She sang Edith Piaf’s “Hymne à l’amour” from the Eiffel Tower.
Viewers were quick to praise the performance on social media, posting that Dion’s singing was beautiful, inspiring and a “triumphant comeback.”

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau wrote on X (formerly Twitter): “Céline, it’s great to see you singing again.” Trudeau called her “a Canadian icon” and “an incredible talent” who “overcame a lot to be there tonight.”

The My Heart Will Go On singer, who has won five Grammys and 20 Juno Awards, stepped away from the spotlight in 2022 after being diagnosed with stiff-person syndrome, which severely limited her movement and hampered her ability to sing and perform.

The documentary I Am: Celine Dion, released in June, followed Dion’s journey to recovery and her hopes of singing live again.

Rumours had been swirling for days that Dion would perform after she was spotted Tuesday outside Le Royal Monceau hotel in Paris, greeting fans and posing for pictures, and French President Emmanuel Macron and other officials spoke about her arrival.

A French journalist posted on X (formerly Twitter) that Dion and Lady Gaga had rehearsed a different Piaf song, La vie en Rose, together as a duet.

Kelly Ripa is no stranger to provoking discussions on the internet, what with her undeniable charm and unquestionable good looks.

The 53-year-old recently received a Disney Legend honor, only to garner all manner of mean comments regarding a perceived change in her appearance.Chief among the concerns of critics was the idea that the actress and talk show host has undergone possible cosmetic procedures (totally one hundred percent her business, but the internet is as the internet is).

In a recent Disney event, Ripa discussed living her dreams and getting the chance to meet distinguished industry figures like Harrison Ford, Angela Bassett, and John Cameron. As usual, there was an unmistakable air of charm about the actress, yet it wasn’t her words that got people talking so much as her facial features.

Now, before we go any further, we’d like to once again drive home the notion that no one’s appearance – celebrity or otherwise – should ever be fair game for people who only have horrible things to say.

In an age where body positivity and being kind to others is promoted most everywhere, it beggars belief that there are so many individuals ready to belittle others and point out perceived flaws online.

I guess for all its benefits, the internet is to blame for creating a space wherein people can be cruel without any real risk of reprisal, hiding behind their own screen in anonymity as they spread negativity.

But alas, I digress. This article is about Kelly Ripa, and the attention she garnered after opting for a look with minimalist makeup and subtle accessories.

Critics practically leapt at the opportunity to claim that Ripa might have undergone plastic surgery.

“Yikes!!!! another victim of Plastic Surgery,” one person wrote on Entertainment Tonight’s Instagram.

Another added: “Cheeks are melting 😮“

“Kelly, grow old gracefully,” said a third.

“Does she have cheek fillers-she didn’t need that,” wrote another.

A fifth wrote: “What is holding this woman together😮”

“Fine. Get fillers. Get botox. But why do you want to look so “worked on” that you look like a different, more plastic version of yourself. Seriously,” said a sixth.

We can only imagine that Kelly’s thick-skinned enough to ignore the haters, and hope that their negative chatter doesn’t take away from an evening wherein she was officially named a Disney Legend, an honor celebrating her contributions to the world of entertainment.

Addressing the audience upon receiving the award, Ripa joked: “I know what you’re thinking. Why her? What has she ever done? She doesn’t even go here.”

She’s never been afraid to express herself.

In a world obsessed with youth and perfection, Jennifer Lopez has taken a brave and refreshing step by showing herself as she is in a recent  television show.

The 55-year-old artist, known for her dazzling beauty and enviable figure, decided to appear on screen without any retouching, revealing the real face of the woman behind the icon.

Jennifer Lopez, one of the most prominent stars in the entertainment industry, has always been admired for her youthful appearance and unmatched talent.

However, in an act of courage and empowerment, she decided to break with conventional beauty standards by showing her wrinkles and expression lines, proud of being an aging and wise woman.

In a society that often seems obsessed with eternal youth and physical perfection, this gesture from Jennifer Lopez is a powerful reminder that appearance is not everything in life.

The artist has challenged unattainable ideals of beauty and has sent a message of acceptance and self-esteem to her followers and the general public.

Jennifer Lopez revealed her real face on a television show, where she appeared without any type of digital retouching or excessive makeup.

This brave decision came after a disagreement with the singer Shakira, who, according to López, had behaved inappropriately and immaturely. López decided it was time to be authentic and unfiltered, defying the constant pressure to maintain a perfect image.

The controversy with Shakira led Jennifer López to send an unfiltered message to the Colombian singer. In her own words, López reminded Shakira that the years do not pass in vain and that she should not feel ashamed to accept that Gerard Piqué had exchanged her for a younger woman.

Fox News host Jeanine Pirro questioned Robert De Niro’s impact on New York City after he spoke out against Trump.

Pirro asked De Niro whether he had altered the skyline or constructed any towers.

For the purpose of reviving the Tribeca neighborhood following the events of September 11, De Niro,

a native Manhattanite, co-founded the festival in 2002 alongside Jane Rosenthal and Craig Hatkoff. Furthermore, he serves on the 9/11 Memorial and Museum’s board of directors.

“Robert De Niro, what have you accomplished for New York City?” Fox News host Jeanine Pirro asked Robert De Niro’s audience. Is your name emblazoned on any structures? Did you construct any skyscrapers? How about the New York skyline? Has your vision altered it in any way?

With the words “I love this city” he blasted Trump while standing outside a lower Manhattan courtroom prior to final arguments in Trump’s hush money trial. Keeping it intact is important to me. Donald Trump has stated his intention to demolish the city, the nation, and perhaps the entire planet. He intends to cause complete anarchy.

While in New York, de Niro

“I am a New Yorker,” De Niro said in an interview with Cigar Aficionado in 2015, expanding on his ties to the Big Apple. New York offers a lot of things that other cities don’t. From all across the nation and the globe, people flock here in search of self-discovery.

According to him, it’s a spot where people may get together, stay anonymous, or discover who they truly are. Seasons are one reason why I enjoy living in New York. Los Angeles is too big, and you have to drive everywhere. The two experiences are quite different. My hometown is New York. I enjoy spending time here.

Both his words and deeds show how much De Niro cares about New York City and how he wants to see it thrive again.

It’s no secret that now all people, especially celebrities, use Photoshop. But Jennifer Lopez, of course, cannot be compared with the Kardashian family.

Beloved singer Celine Dion has been facing a heartbreaking struggle with her health. Diagnosed with stiff person syndrome, a neurological condition with no known cure, Dion has been forced to step away from her singing career and the spotlight. This has been a devastating blow for her and her fans, forcing her to cancel tour dates and put her life on hold.

Since her diagnosis in 2022, Dion has faced numerous challenges. Initially, she had to postpone her world tour dates for treatment, but later had to cancel them altogether. Despite the tireless efforts of her family, no medicine has been found to effectively combat the condition.

However, in November, Dion surprised her fans by making a radiant appearance at a hockey game in Las Vegas. She posed for photos with her three sons, showcasing her undeniable strength and spirit.

A Heartbreaking Update
Unfortunately, the latest reports are not what her fans were hoping for at the start of the new year. According to Radar Online, Dion is still struggling with ongoing issues with her vocal cords and desperately wants to return to the stage. She is even willing to perform from a wheelchair if necessary.

Dion is currently undergoing extensive treatment with physicians and physical therapists, but the prognosis is not optimistic. Due to the nature of stiff person syndrome, many individuals end up being confined to a wheelchair. While this prospect doesn’t bother Dion too much, the loss of her famous voice is a tremendous struggle.

The Unbearable Loss of Her Voice
Spasms in her vocal cords make it difficult for Dion to sing. Although she can initially start singing fine, the spasms quickly interfere, making it impossible for her to perform or record. Unfortunately, there seems to be no solution, whether through surgery or therapy, to repair this issue.

Our hearts go out to Celine Dion and her loved ones during this challenging time. We hope for her strength and recovery as she continues to fight against stiff person syndrome.
