Wahlberg has often returned to his hometown of Boston to participate in charity events and spend time with people he knows from the city. His fans admire him for returning to his roots as often as he does.

How Was Wahlberg’s Upbringing?

Growing up, Wahlberg shared a room with his five brothers in a poor home. He believed he was the youngest of nine children, but later found that his father had had affairs and he had other siblings.

From a young age, Wahlberg was involved in illicit activities and substances. However, the family did not see it as an issue. In fact, when his brother was in a correctional facility, the family saw it as a bonus because he got free sneakers, which he passed down to his siblings.

Talking about reaping the benefits of his brother’s youth incarceration, Wahlberg openly admitted:

“They’d be four sizes too big, but we were actually happy my brother was locked up because we would get free sneakers.”

Wahlberg had his first drug experience when he was just ten years old. He stopped going to school by thirteen, and his mother was none the wiser because she was too preoccupied with her divorce from Wahlberg’s father.

Although his mother wasn’t there for him much when he was growing up, as he got older, the pair developed an excellent relationship, and before her death, they shared an unbreakable bond. Wahlberg says she is one of the most influential people in his life.

Now, because of how he grew up and his mom’s influence on his life, Wahlberg seeks to make the lives of those around him more manageable. He has hired people previously incarcerated because he recognizes that that could have been his life.

When he was 21, Wahlberg broke up with his then-girlfriend as she had had a comfortable childhood, and he felt he couldn’t relate to her because she had grown up on fifth avenue and was accustomed to things like housekeepers and money.

Now that he is one of the highest-paid actors, he uses his tales of his younger days to warn his children against the world’s perils; Wahlberg says they are never impressed by his stories. Instead, they find the stories dull and don’t want to hear any more of them.

Wahlberg has often expressed gratitude for his upbringing and said that growing up the way he did taught him how to survive even the most difficult circumstances. Now, he can make a difference in other people’s lives.

Wahlberg’s Relationship with His Mother and Wife

In 2021, Wahlberg’s mother passed away. He was heartbroken by the loss and was only ready to talk about it long after she had left the earth. Reflecting on their relationship, he mused:

“The first phone call that I made every single day for the last ten years was to my mom. And I don’t get to make that phone call anymore. And it’s heartbreaking.”

Before her death, Wahlberg’s mother confirmed that wherever her son was in the world, he ensured he called her often to see how she was doing and if there was anything she needed from him.

She said the phone calls meant everything to her, and she would even pick up if it were three in the morning. After his mother passed, Wahlberg was hit with the reality that his mother was no longer around on his birthday.

He revealed that his mother had a small gathering for him at her house every year on his birthday, and when she passed on, and it was time for him to cut his cake, it hit him that neither of his parents was around to celebrate with him anymore.

One thing that brought Wahlberg comfort in the months following his mother’s death was spending time with his siblings. He admitted they leaned on one another for support. He also relied on his wife and children.

Wahlberg has become a devoted husband and father and does everything he can to give his children the life he never had growing up. Yet he recognizes it is a fine line to walk, remarking:

“I don’t want them to be terrified of me, you know? But I don’t want them to think they can do whatever they want and get away with it, either, because they can’t.”

The actor believes in being involved in every part of his children’s lives so they feel they can talk to him about anything. He wants his children to have the things he didn’t have when he was younger.

He now has four children with his wife and says he wants his children to have opportunities and material things he couldn’t but doesn’t want them to grow up with a sense of entitlement and wants them to “have the tools to be great people.” He is a loving father and husband who now puts his family first.

Peter Noone was one member of the popular 60’s band, Herman’s Hermits.

With his thick head of hair and boyish charm, it would be easy to compare him to a Justin Beiber or Harry Styles of today.

However, there is one distinct difference between this former teen heartthrob and those of today…

“Herman’s Hermits sold millions of records before anyone even saw us, which just doesn’t happen now,” Noone said.

“I didn’t know what I was doing: my stage persona was a shy little boy, which is basically what I was.”

Noone and the rest of his band released more than 20 hit records and even outsold the Beatles in 1965. Some of their biggest hits included I’m Into Something Good, No Milk Today and There’s A Kind of Hush (All Over the World).

The band received a million-dollar record deal by the time they were 17, and one of the highlights of Noone’s career was when Elvis Presley performed one of their hits–”I’m Henry the Eighth, I Am”–in 1965 on stage.

“He was making fun of me, but who cares?” says Noone. “It was Elvis!”

Even at this young age, Noone was living the quintessential rocker lifestyle.

“Although without the drugs bit,” he insists. “That was never my thing.”

But when asked about all of the other typical rock ‘n’ roll habits?

“Sure. We were 16, 17, and we could easily stay up all night, go on the rampage then be up the next morning to do interviews and go to gigs. It was a brilliant time.”

At 64, Noone is on the road again as part of Britain’s Solid Silver 60s Show. His fellow Hermits veterans will not be joining him, but other musical star of the era will–Brian Poole of The Tremeloes (“Do You Love Me” and “Twist And Shout”) and Brian Hyland (“Itsy Bitsy Teenie Weenie Yellow Polka Dot Bikini”).

“You never get tired of the buzz of touring,’ says Noone, ‘and it’s good to know we can still pull an audience. People come up to me and sing all the old songs to my face, although I’m never really sure how to respond to that.”

Noone has lived in California since the 70’s and grew quickly to the healthy living style that characterizes the state.

“Not many people survived the debauchery of the sixties,” he says, “so I feel very lucky and try to look after myself. When I went to Mickie Most’s funeral nine years ago [Most was the band’s producer and a panelist on TV talent show New Faces], there weren’t many people left. It does make you stop and think.”

“I remember going to the house of one of the Moody Blues and it was considered this real den of iniquity,” he says. “None of the girls smoked dope, so I used to hang out with them. I was a fly on the wall.

“I did like to drink — I used to go out with Richard Harris and try to drink more than him,” Noone laughed.

“I used to love the Beatles and the Stones and I’d always want to hang out with them, even though they were about seven years older.

“We’d go to the Ad Lib club in London, and John Lennon would buy my drinks because he knew I was only 16 and I wouldn’t get drunk and try to beat someone up.”

Noone, who grew up in Manchester, has admitted that one of his major motivations for drinking was to fit in with the others, as he didn’t feel that “interesting.”

It was at the age of 19 that the musician decided to attend his first Alcoholics Anonymous meeting with his father, also an avid drinker.

“I wouldn’t have classed myself as an alcoholic, but you have to be sensitive to people’s feelings and be able to do the job on stage, so after that I decided to cut down. I needed to do it for my own sake and haven’t touched a drop for about 16 years.

“I insist that my wife still drinks if she wants to — I wouldn’t stop other people around me doing it.”

The multi-talented entertainer has been married to his wife, Mirielle, for 43 years. They met when Noone was 20, while he was still spending time with various women.

“I think it was probably lust at first sight with Mireille,” he admits. “Then I found out how nice she was and it turned to love.

“She kept turning me down, but she was holidaying on Ibiza with her mum, so I rented the apartment next to them. Her mother liked me because I was respectful. I wore Mireille down.”

The couple married in 1968, had one daughter (Nicole), and Noone quit the band in 1971 at the age of 24.

“Even though all of us in the band were close in the beginning, by the end, we’d been together so long and wanted to do different things.”

His attempted solo career plateaued, and it was in the 80s that he took to a new stage, appearing in a Broadway production on “Pirates of Penzance” and as a host on the U.S. television music show “My Generation”.

Just a few years ago, he appeared as a mentor and voice coach on American Idol.

Speaking on the show, he said, “If the Beatles had entered a TV competition, they’d probably have lost. Simon Cowell seems like a very nice guy, but I think he’s a secondhand Mickie Most to be honest.”

Speaking on the current tour again, Noone explained, “‘I was probably going to be a clerk at the local NatWest. How lucky am I to still be doing this at 64? I know what I’m doing now, too. I’m not that shy little kid any more.”

Peter is still so charismatic and cute no matter what age!

Patricia Richardson, a.k.a. mom Jill Taylor from “Home Improvement,” showed off her long gray hair at her twin daughter’s wedding!

The actress revealed why she rejected $30 million and became a single mom.

Patricia opened up about her regrets about the past and showed photos of her cute children and grandchildren.

With a number one show to her name, Patricia Richardson is a Hollywood name that many people are highly familiar with. Starring as Jill Taylor, the mother of a busy family in the hit sitcom “Home Improvement,” she has spent years on the TV show’s set, bringing her character to life and being the antithesis of her co-star Tim Allen.

Now, the actress is 72 years old and proudly showed off her gray locks at her daughter’s wedding. Richardson looked radiant, posting a slew of photos to Twitter after the ceremony where her family had spent some time together celebrating.

Richardson posted several snapshots of the big day, showing her children and other members of the family gathered to celebrate her daughter, Roxanne Baker’s wedding. The images showed Richardson holding a baby and planting a kiss on the little one’s forehead. There were also snaps of her kids sharing a moment.

While she worked on “Home Improvement” for eight years, Richardson also tried to balance family life.

The actress captioned the images by writing about how the family had to wait through three years of the COVID-19 pandemic and her daughter’s indecision about venues to have the wedding. Finally, they found the perfect site for the ceremony in the mountains of Ojai, where they spent a weekend celebrating the happy new couple.

Besides her daughter, Richardson also has two sons. Roxanne has a twin brother, Joseph Castle Baker, who works as a stand-up comedian, writer, and actor. Joe has made numerous comedy skits, including one about him coming out as gay to his parents. The twins have an older brother, Henry Baker, who is also married.

In the past, Richardson has been open about the choices she has made in life and the things she would regret when she eventually looked back on her life. Many would think the actress regretted her choice to stop working on “Home Improvement,” turning down a massive contract. She opened up about why she stepped down.

Why Did Patricia Richardson Reject Millions?
Although “Home Improvement” made her career a success, the show also took its toll on Richardson’s personal life. She has been open about her marital struggles, saying she initially never trusted herself to be married. Nonetheless, she tied the knot with Ray Baker, and the pair shared many happy years.

These days, Richardson is still a devoted mother and grandmother.

While she worked on “Home Improvement” for eight years, Richardson also tried to balance family life. She had three children to raise, a husband who wanted her to be home more, and parents to take care of. For a while, the actress was the only caretaker for her parents, who had increasingly bad health.

Nonetheless, she kept working for close to a decade. During the course of her career, she also faced a divorce from her long-time husband. Although Baker encouraged her to work on “Home Improvement” at first, the show started taking up all her time, and after a while, the pair couldn’t work out their differences.

Richardson recalled how she would often turn down doing charity events because she never had time to spend with her children. Eventually, Baker filed for divorce, making Richardson a single mother. After the separation, she realized she was the only one around to look after her kids, so she had to make a choice.

Besides being an actress on the show, Richardson also wrote. The actress helped the show’s creators make her character seem as real and relatable as possible. But she couldn’t keep working so many hours and be a good mom to her children, so she made the difficult choice to step down from the show.

Richardson refused to work on “Home Improvement’s” ninth year, turning down a $30 million deal in the process. She also turned down another project that won 30 Emmys. Despite this, the actress is glad she chose her family over her career, recalling, “I was away from them more than I wanted and felt I missed so many things.”

Does Patricia Richardson Have Any Regrets?
Giving up a role like the one she had would leave many people looking back and wondering how their life would have been had they decided to accept the offer. Although Richardson does think back about some of the things she missed out on because she chose her family over her career, the actress believes she made the best choice.

She opened up about the time before she decided to quit “Home Improvement,” recalling how she had to take care of her mother and father, who were seriously ill in their last few years. With her sister’s help, Richardson took care of her parents while working on “West Wing,” and by the time she finished, they had both passed away.

Getting through “Home Improvement” proved challenging even though she enjoyed it. Richardson is proud of the fact that she worked hard to make a success of her career, but she’s glad to have stepped down when she did. The actress also noted that she had been away from her kids for so long that she had to work on her parenting skills again.

These days, Richardson is still a devoted mother and grandmother. She often shares snapshots of herself with her family. On May 7, 2023, she shared an image of her with her grandchild. In the caption, she wrote, “Happy Happy Mother’s Day to all mothers and grandmothers today!”

Although Richardson gave up her role in “Home Improvement,” she’s living a happy life as a grandmother. She shared an image of her grandson and granddaughter playing in their yard, showing the young boy putting his arms around her granddaughter in a playful gesture. The proud granny wrote, “Grandson learning about unwelcome hugging.”

One teenage girl removed the wallpapers of her room claiming that she would change it as she liked! 🤭🫣 She didn’t listen to others and soon showed the final result which you can see in this article! 🧐👇

Today’s story is about 14-year-old Julie from Great Britain who clearly realized that her room urgently needs renovation. She soon got started and removed all the wallpapers. Julie decided to make the design according to her style.

For the job, Julie took a few cans of paint, a spatula and masking tape and that is all. She “conjured” the cleaned wall for two days, filming everything on camera and constantly sharing the progress with her followers.

According to the girl’s plans, geometric shapes of different sizes and colors appeared on the wall. In order to make their edges look neat and even, she used the masking tape.

Julie posted a photo of her original design to the DIY On a Budget Official group, where everyone highly praised her. The girl’s mother was truly surprised and delighted by the final result of transforming the room.

Some of the subscribers praised Julie, some didn’t even mind hiring a young designer to create a design for their home, and some were jealous of the girl whose parents reacted so calmly to what was happening.

Anna Nicole Smith’s daughter looks unrecognizable in her mom’s jewelry!

Larry Birkhead took his daughter to a small town to give her a normal childhood after eye surgery.

“It’s tough for her to visit the grave,” Birkhead confessed about life as a single parent.

Actress Anna Nicole Smith and her former flame, photographer Larry Birkhead, briefly met in 2003 in his home state during the Kentucky Derby. However, the pair only bonded privately a year later, in 2004.

Birkhead candidly discussed their relationship several years later during a 2020 interview, sharing he and Smith kept their romance under wraps.

He said he could not utter a word about their relationship because no one knew about it except for them. Moreover, there were hardly photos or videos of the lovebirds suggesting they were an item. Birkhead explained:

“She was supposed to be this kind of available sex goddess. That was her persona that she was supposed to be available and the object of everyone’s desire. It worked against me in so many ways.”

Two years into their relationship, Birkhead and Smith welcomed their only child together, daughter Dannielynn Birkhead on September 7, 2006. Sadly, five months after her arrival, her mother died from a drug overdose on February 8, 2007, at age 39.

In addition, Smith’s eldest child, son Daniel, whom she welcomed with her first husband, Billy Wayne, had also passed away due to an accidental drug overdose at age 20. It was only three days after his half-sister’s birth.

A year after Smith’s death, her then-one-year-old daughter was said to be undergoing corrective eye surgery. She had been diagnosed with strabismus (better known as a lazy eye), and her dad revealed:

“She’s meeting all of her milestones and exceeding them, and she’s getting ready to have surgery.”

Birkhead disclosed his child’s health issue in January 2008 and admitted to being nervous about her having the procedure. He stated the experience of losing Smith, her son, and his father, who had undergone an operation and had lost his life, and her daughter’s health issues, was too much for him to bear.

As for what made the Kentucky native have a change of heart, Birkhead divulged, “A lot of parents gave me a lot of support and a lot of encouraging words and gave me the strength.” Still, he believed Dannielyn was “in the best doctors’ hands.”

After Smith passed, Birkhead intentionally decided to raise their daughter away from the limelight since she was an infant. He and Dannielynn spent much of her childhood in a small Kentucky town.

Smith’s Daughter Prompted Comments about Her Look in Mom’s Jewelry
Meanwhile, Birkhead has continued to honor Smith’s memory by attending the Kentucky Derby yearly and creating tradition with their daughter, who usually accompanies him to the historic annual event. He said in a May 2022 interview:

“We had a great time, and it’s kind of been a tradition that we would go every year.”

The father of one also revealed Dannielynn had frequently been getting offers to star in films and TV shows, but the youngster is “not interested in” living her life on camera yet.

Birkhead stated that if the day comes when his child wants to pursue a career in showbiz and if she desires it, then he would fully support her. He argued that at this present time, she is in 10th grade and is doing well at school, adding her focus is being an ordinary child, which is fine.

When the father-daughter duo attended the 149th Kentucky Derby in May 2023, Dannielynn pulled out all the stops, donning a Leo Lin sunflower print gown. The teenager paid tribute to her late mom through jewelry, accessorizing her look with a crystal necklace and bracelet from Smith’s collection.

Dannielynn, whose father color-coordinated with her outfit in a light blue suit, paired with a yellow tie and sunflower lapel pin, walked the red carpet at Churchhill Downs alongside him.

This was not the first time Dannielyn honored her mother through her style. When she attended the 34th Annual Barnstable Brown Gala, she wore a black and white top with a print featuring pictures from Smith’s 1992 GUESS campaign. She also wore pieces from her mother’s jewelry.

As for her recent appearance at the Kentucky Derby, social media users were stunned by the 16-year-old’s outfit choice. One wrote, “She looks so much like her mom, just pure perfection. Beautiful.” Another user lauded Birkead for his role in her life: “My lord, she is beautiful like her mom!! Identical! Thank you, dad, for being there for her always! You rock.”

A third user shared the same sentiments, “[…] You’re doing an amazing job with her, Larry! You all look great!” While the fourth user stated, “Larry, I am so proud of you and your beautiful daughter! You have done an excellent job raising her right. Blessings to you both.”

“It’s Tough for Her to Visit the Grave:” Larry on Life as a Single Parent
Nine years after Smith’s death, Birkhead appeared on “The Steve Harvey Show” and spoke openly about being a single parent. He noted that while it required effort to raise his child, there were upsides.

He described their daily life as an “adventure” and admitted he struggled to be a single dad, wishing he had someone else helping him out. Dannielynn was only nine years old then, and her dad would help her choose her clothes in addition to helping her with homework.

Birkhead admitted it was difficult bringing up his child without her mother because he always had to make sure he was on track and kept up with things a mom would usually do. He further explained:

“There were days on the playground where she would say that she wants her mom back. It’s tough for her to visit the grave.”

On the fifteenth anniversary of Smith’s death, her former boyfriend penned an emotional tribute for her on social media. He posted a throwback black and white photo of the couple and wrote he was “remembering” her over a decade after her untimely passing.

“She was truly one of a kind. She struggled for love and acceptance. Just when she found a little piece of one or the other, life seemed sabotaged,” he stated, adding the late model was beautiful “both inside and out.”

In a September 2016 interview, nearly ten years after the television personality’s passing, Birkhead revealed there had been constant reminders about Smith that made him emotional now and then. He said, “There’s things left unanswered, things that I didn’t get to say to her.” He added when he fills out forms at his daughter’s school, it always pains him to state that her mom is no more.

“There’s days that if I stop and think about it, and you ask me about it, you will see a tear, but every other minute of the day, you will see a smile. That’s just how it goes,” he expressed.

Despite Smith’s tragic death and challenging emotions, Birkhead remains positive for his daughter’s sake.

Rejecting the pageantry that follows Ben Affleck and his new wife Jennifer Lopez, Jennifer Garner has been quietly dating a man, out of the celebrity spotlight.

According to a source, the 51-year-old Garner has been in an on and off again relationship with businessman John Miller, who like her, is happy being “an under-the-radar kind of couple.”

Keep reading to learn more about the man who captured the heart of the dimpled star!

When Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck divorced in 2018, fans weren’t too surprised to hear he was back in a relationship with “Jenny from the Block.”

While the public closely followed the re-coupling of Affleck and Jennifer Lopez, including a happy marriage and J.Lo’s new single “Can’t Get Enough,” which was written for Affleck, little is known about Garner’s new beau, John Miller.

According to reports, Garner and Miller had been dating six months before her 2018 divorce to Affleck was finalized.

The former Hollywood power couple split in 2015 and since, they continue to co-parent their three children, Violet, 17, Seraphina, 14 and Samuel, 10.

Who is this mystery man?
Born in 1978, Miller is an attorney and a businessman who works as the CEO of the fast food chain, CaliBurger and its parent company, CaliGroup. Previously, he worked at Arrowhead Pharmaceuticals as the VP of intellectual property.

Miller, who was married to American violinist Caroline Campbell from 2005 to 2014, finalized his divorce about one month after the beautiful Garner became a single woman. With Campbell, he shares a daughter, also named Violet and a son, Quest.

Not wanting to put their relationship on blast, the couple, who have been dating five years now, chose to step away from the spotlight that tends to trail a star like Garner.

“She loves how little he cares for the limelight or the whole Hollywood scenester stuff…Very different from Ben and J.Lo’s relationship in that way,” a source told Us Weekly. “You’ll never see them ham it up for the cameras or fixate about what events to attend together, it’s just not their style.”

The unnamed person adds, “They’re happier being a regular, under-the-radar couple and don’t need anyone else’s validation to know they’re meant to be together. That’s not to say they’re taking digs against others, it’s just not them.”

Going slow
After a brief split between August 2020 to the spring of 2021, Miller and Garner have been going strong.

“He was ready for marriage, and she just couldn’t commit,” a source said at the time.

Gushing over the couple, friends say the star of Elektra and Miller share a mutually beneficial relationship, where they bring out the best in each other.

A source said, “John is so smitten and caring, but not in an overbearing way…He gives Jen space when she needs it but he’s there for her when the chips are down or she’s in the mood for something spontaneous. They’ve enjoyed some wonderful getaways together…that’s one of their big things.”

Staying low
In July 2022, the public was curious about Garner’s reaction to her ex-husband marrying Lopez.

Easing the minds of fans, Garner and Miller were captured together several times by paparazzi, beaming with happiness in each other’s company, seemingly unbothered by the star of Good Will Hunting eloping in Las Vegas.

And, in January 2023, Entertainment Tonight published a story along with images of Affleck, “happily chatting with John.”

The media outlet writes, “Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck are proving that exes can get along just fine! Jennifer and her boyfriend John Miller arrived at their house where Ben was seen happily chatting with John. The private couple were then spotted were also spotted in Santa Barbara, shopping in Montecito’s Village.”

Going with ‘the flow’
Slowly becoming more comfortable with sharing their relationship with the public, the gorgeous couple is seen more frequently, expressing their adoration with smooches, hand holding or out on an early morning jog.

“Jen’s not nearly as shy as she once was with John because they’re a lot more comfortable and secure with each other,” a source said. “She’s proud to show him off.”

In November 2023, another insider spoke with Us Weekly and explained that Garner and Miller are “in a great place.” The source said, “They used to go out of their way to keep a low profile, but they’ve both become very secure with their relationship and how it’s all worked out.”

On her 50th birthday, the couple hit a huge milestone when they brought their children, and families, together for a food drive.

But they’re not yet ready to become a blended family.

According to friends, the subject of marriage between Garner and Miller is open, but there’s no rush. For now, she’s “perfectly happy cherishing and enjoying what they have…without a formal label.”

The person adds that the star of 13 Going on 30 has been setting the pace and Miller is happy to “go with the flow.”

“Jen and John have a really special relationship,” another insider added. “After having so much of her [marriage with Affleck] in the spotlight, she really enjoys being with someone who isn’t a celebrity.”

It’s great to hear that Jennifer Garner has found love again and we really look forward to watching their relationship grow.

In 2019, the lovebirds became first-time parents when they welcomed Raddix on December 30. As parents who prefer to remain private where matters to do with their child are concerned, when Diaz and Madden announced Raddix’s birth, they did not post a photo of her and explained that they did so to protect and prioritize their baby’s privacy.

In 2022, when asked what she enjoys most about motherhood, Diaz answered: “I think just being able to, you know, have influence on a child that’s developing, you know? All mothers have that moment where you’re watching your child, and they’re doing something the first time, and you’re like, ‘I remember doing that!’ It’s really cool!”

Motherhood appears to be a dream come true for Diaz. Far from following the narrative of being the exhausted first-time mother, the movie star confirmed that motherhood is the best experience she has embarked on.

As we previously reported in November 2023, the doting mama bear was seen with her beau and their little girl in a rare family outing. The family enjoyed some time in Montecito and opted for casual wear.

Madden was seen rocking a black hoodie, baseball cap, and loosely fitted pants, while his wife opted for a slightly more chic-causal style with a black button-down shirt, black pants, glasses, green Birkenstocks, and a bag to the value of $1,490. Little Raddix wore a one-piece white outfit and Spiderman sneakers.

Pictures from the day show moments where Diaz held onto her daughter, who was wrangling in her arms after having just kicked off one of her shoes. Reports also stated that Raddix appeared to be full of energy and was seen running around at one point.

Barbara Bach, who played Bond girl Triple X, wasn’t needing to be rescued from the spy who loved her.

Instead she was looking for her knight in shining armor – her rocker husband, Sir Richard Starkey, better known as Ringo Starr.

Now 75, Bach, an actor and model, was at the pinnacle of her career with her appearance in 1977’s The Spy Who Loved Me, where she played the love interest, and potential adversary, to the womanizing 007 agent, James Bond played by Roger Moore.

According to a 1983 story in People, Bach referred to Bond as “a chauvinist pig who uses girls to shield him against bullets.”

Moore agreed and in 1973, the year he starred in his first Bond film, Live and Let Die, he said in an interview with People, “Bond, like myself, is a male chauvinist pig. All my life I’ve been trying to get women out of brassieres and pants.”

Prior to filming The Spy Who Loved Me, Bach had roles in Italian films, one with other Bond Girls–Claudine Auger from Thunderball (1965) and Barbara Bouchet from Casino Royale (1967)– in Black Belly of the Tarantula, a 1971 Italian murder-mystery.

Bach’s starring performance as a Bond girl made the brown-haired beauty an all-time favorite and paved her acting career with gold.

After playing Major Anya Amasova, the fictional character part of the KGB, she had leading roles in Mad Magazine Presents Up the Academy, a 1980 film directed by Robert Downey Sr, and in Caveman, a 1981 slapstick comedy where she co-starred with Dennis Quaid, Shelley Long and Ringo Starr, now 82.

Starr plays Neanderthal lusting after Lana, played by Bach, but in the end, he dumps her and choses another mate.

The screenplay in no way reflects what happened in real life.

The pair saw each other at the Los Angeles airport, flying to the set of Caveman, which was filmed in Mexico.

Featured in a 1981 Playboy pictorial (per People), Bach said, “A lot of garbage has been written about us, none of it interesting,” she said. “The truth is, we weren’t together until the very end of Caveman. Working, we got along fine, but we each had other people, our respective friends. Then, all of a sudden, within a week–the last week of shooting–it just happened. We changed from friendly love to being in love.”

Speaking with the Irish Examiner in 2021, The Beatles superstar gushed over his wife, whom he married more than four decades ago.

“I love the woman. I loved her from when I first saw her at LAX in 1980. She was at the airport with a boyfriend and I was at the airport checking in, and we happened to be going to Mexico to do the same movie. And that’s how it happened,” Star recalled. “I’m blessed she’s in my life, that’s all I can ever say.”

Starr, of supernova stardom, is the drummer for the most influential band of all time, The Beatles. And Bach was in the audience for a Beatles show at New York’s Shea Stadium in 1965, where as part of the Fab Four, he played alongside the late John Lennon and George Harrison, and Paul McCartney.

Bach admits that though she was there, she wasn’t the biggest Beatles fan. She was there with her friend Joe Walsh and her sister Marjorie, who was so wild about the band that she showed up wearing a Beatles wig.

“My sister Marjorie was crazy about the Beatles,” Bach told People in a 1981 interview. “I liked [Bob] Dylan, Ray Charles and the Rolling Stones.”

Marjorie went on and married Walsh, who became the Eagles guitarist in 1975. Walsh also played with his brother-in-law in Ringo Starr & His All-Starr Band, a live rock supergroup.

Only months after Lennon was killed, Bach and Starr married April 27, 1981 with a guest that included McCartney and Harrison.

The pair have been inseparable since.

Right before the pair wed, they were in a near-fatal crash, where the car they were driving swerved to avoid a truck and rolled over twice before coming to a stop.

Starr said after the accident, “We decided we wouldn’t spend any time apart. So far the longest break was five days, and that was too long. I want to live every minute with Barbara.”

They also entered rehab together in 1988 and have been sober since.

When the adorable couple celebrated their 40th anniversary in 2021, Starr posted a photo from their wedding day–McCartney and Harrison are also in the image–with the captioned, “It was 40 years ago today The love of my life said yes yes yes.”

The pair’s love spreads beyond their blended family–Starr has three kids with late wife Maureen Cox and Bach has two with her former husband, Augusto Gregorini–they also run a charity called The Lotus Foundation. The foundation supports various projects for animals, substance abuse, homelessness and cancer. Starr, also an artist, donates 100 percent of sales to the organization.

There’s no question that if they could, they’d be together “Eight Days a Week.”

“I love the man, and that’s it,” Bach said.

Starr adds, “There’s no escape … I think I love Barbara as much [today] as I did [when we met] – and I’m beyond blessed that she loves me and we’re still together.”

We love hearing about love! And the one that’s shared between the one-time Bond girl, Barbara Bach, and her Rockstar husband, Ringo Starr is so inspirational. We can’t wait to see what they continue do with their charity work and their lives!

Catherine, Princess of Wales, has been undergoing chemotherapy after she was diagnosed with cancer, she announced March 22 in a video.

The former Kate Middleton underwent abdominal surgery in January and was not expected to appear in public again until after Easter, Kensington Palace announced on Jan. 17. But speculation over her condition and whereabouts heightened in the weeks that followed, reaching a fever pitch after the palace released an edited photo of the princess with her children.

Now, she’s speaking out about her condition for the first time in a new video shared by Kensington Palace.

“In January, I underwent major abdominal surgery in London and at the time, it was thought that my condition was noncancerous,” she says in the video.

“The surgery was successful. However, tests after the operation found cancer had been present,” she says.

Kate says the news came as a “huge shock,” adding that she and Prince William aim to “manage this privately for the sake of our young family.” She is currently undergoing a “course of preventative chemotherapy.”

“As you can imagine, this has taken time. It has taken me time to recover from major surgery in order to start my treatment,” she says. “But, most importantly, it has taken us time to explain everything to George, Charlotte and Louis in a way that is appropriate for them, and to reassure them that I am going to be OK.”

The princess assures viewers in the video that she is “well and getting stronger every day.” She also asks for “time, space and privacy” as she undergoes treatment.

She says she is focused on making a “full recovery” while thinking of those who are also affected by cancer.

“For everyone facing this disease, in whatever form, please do not lose faith or hope. You are not alone,” she says.

What type of cancer does Kate Middleton have?

In her video statement, the princess did not specify what kind of cancer she is undergoing treatment for. She shared that it was discovered after an abdominal surgery in January, which she called “major” in her announcement.

The most common types of cancer discovered through abdominal surgery are gastrointestinal, such as colon or stomach, or genital or urinary, Dr. Ben Ho Park, director of precision oncology at Vanderbilt School of Medicine, tells TODAY.com. He was sure to point out, however, that “it could be anything.”

What is preventative chemotherapy?

Kate specified in her video that her treatment involves a course of preventative chemotherapy.” While not a clinical term, Park says it likely refers to a treatment that is conducted after any initial interventions, such as surgery, to prevent cancer from returning.

“Even though the surgeons have removed everything they can see, there could still be cancer cells floating around in the body that, if left untreated, may come back later (and) is then incurable,” Park, who does not have details about Kate’s specific condition, says.

Citing clinical trial results, Park, says chemotherapy conducted after initial treatment can reduce the risk of cancer returning.

A timeline of Kate Middleton’s condition

Kate’s last public appearance was in December 2023 for the family’s annual Christmas outing in Sandringham. Her “planned” surgery took place on Jan. 16 and was “successful,” according to the palace.

“It is expected that she will remain in hospital for ten to fourteen days, before returning home to continue her recovery,” Kensington Palace said in a statement.

Since Michael Bublé’s son Noah was diagnosed with cancer, the musician has struggled to make peace with their situation. Bublé revealed that he and his wife “did not want to wake up,” at times.

Canadian singer, Michael Bublé, first laid eyes on his future wife, actress Luisana Lopilato in a parking lot in Buenos Aires in 2009. He had performed at an arena and was in the basement when the Argentine beauty walked by.

During an appearance on “Access” in 2019, Bublé recalled the first time he saw Lopilato. He revealed that he was with his grandfather at the time, and suddenly, he felt something in him.

“I looked at my grandpa and said, ‘Grandpa, this is the most beautiful woman I’ve ever seen.’” However, the pair did not start a conversation immediately as the “Sway” singer returned to his hotel.

After he got there and had a few drinks, a friend asked if he would be willing to mingle with some famous actors in the building. Once again, he met Lopilato, who had walked in with a male pal, mistaken for her husband by Bublé.

He recalled that he did not immediately attempt to court her as she barely spoke English. Nevertheless, Bublé continued drinking throughout the evening and only talked to Lopilato’s friend, saying, “Oh my God, you guys are such a good-looking couple.”

To his shock, the said pal told him that he and Lopilato were not romantically involved, revealing that she liked Bublé. Funny enough, the entire time he spent talking to her actor friend, she believed he was gay because he was more interested in her partner for the night.

Bublé started talking to Lopilato, who also had her sister with her, and luckily for him, she could speak more English and interpreted what he said to her. He told Lopilato that she was beautiful and would love to get to know her better.

Meanwhile, Lopilato told the Daily Mail in August 2012 that she wanted to go to her future husband’s concert because she likes his music, “but I didn’t know what he looked like.”

He made his intentions very clear once he started to talk to her. The model revealed that the pop star told her that he would make her his wife one day:

“As I left the party, he said to me, ‘You are my wife. You don’t know it yet.’ And I said, ‘Of course you want me to be your wife; every man wants to marry me, so we will have to see!’”

Three months after they crossed paths, Bublé emailed Lopilato telling her that he would come to Argentina for three days to get to know her properly and get introduced to her family.

That plan fell swiftly into motion when the pair spent their first evening of his three-day stay, their first official date, having dinner with her entire family at her home.

Lopilato is the youngest of three kids. She has an older sister named Danielle and an older brother, Dario, born to parents Beatriz and Eduardo.

She shared that although the language was a barrier to her and Bublé, who had brought along a male assistant who spoke fluent Spanish, all her family members liked Bublé.

A month later, he invited her and her siblings to the US to meet his family. The same way her family openly welcomed him, his family did the same with her.

As they fell in love, Bublé decided to take their relationship to the next level. He proposed in front of Lopilato’s family when they were having dinner one evening. She thought he was joking when he told her he wanted to marry her in Spanish.

Still, he showed determination when she sincerely believed that he was joking. However, that moment quickly turned emotional as when Lopilato looked up, her father, mother, and even sister were crying.

That was when she realized Bublé was serious about asking for her hand in marriage. Lopilato noted that there was one specific reason that made her believe that Bublé was being genuine:

“I thought, ‘This is real because my father never cries.’ So, I started to cry too. I loved that he proposed that way – I am a family girl, and it was perfect that he said it in front of them.”

The couple tied the knot in 2011 in Buenos Aires, and six weeks later, they had another wedding near Bublé’s family in Vancouver.

On August 27, 2013, the duo welcomed their first child, a son named Noah. The proud dad wrote on Instagram at the time: “Overjoyed and filled with gratitude at the arrival of our son Noah Bublé.”

Lopilato gave birth to the couple’s son in Vancouver, Canada, and in the days leading to giving birth, she experienced “seven hours of labor” during a false alarm.

In a candid interview with the “TODAY” show, Bublé expressed that having his then-10-month-old baby in his life had shaped his life:

“There’s a different height to it. And I get it now. I love that little guy.”

In December 2020, Bublé and his wife announced they were expecting their second child. The doting father revealed to People in June that that year, he and Lopilato would like to grow their family with three to five new additions.

“Me and my wife would really love to have three, four, five kids if we’re blessed to do that. And if we can’t do it naturally, then we’ll do it another way – we’ll adopt,” he said.

On January 22, 2016, the couple welcomed their second child together, a baby boy named Elias. Bublé announced the thrilling news on social media alongside a photo of him, Lopilato, and their newborn son.

Two years later, the family of four learned devastating news, Noah had been diagnosed with liver cancer. His father was promoting his ninth 2018 album, Nobody But Me, when he discovered his firstborn had cancer.

In October 2016, minutes before Bublé was set to perform in London at “The One Show,” he received a text from Lopilato along with a photo of their child’s surgical scan, revealing the news.

“I just died,” said Bublé, who performed either way after learning the news. He did not even know how he could go through with the performance with a heavy heart, “I don’t know how I even sang, man, I just did it on autopilot,” the Grammy Award winner added.

Bublé and Lopilato confirmed Noah’s diagnosis on a Facebook post in November 2016, writing that they had both halted their careers:

“We are devastated about the recent cancer diagnosis of our oldest son Noah who is currently undergoing treatment in the US. Luisana and I have put our careers on hold in order to devote all our time and attention to helping Noah get well.”

In October 2018, Bublé openly talked about the toll the diagnosis had had on his family, saying there were times he and his spouse “wished we didn’t wake up.”

The father of three shared that hearing that his son had cancer was “the worst possible thing that you could hear as a parent, and as maybe a human being,” he told “Today,” an Australian morning news program.

Instead, he wished that he was the one diagnosed with the disease, saying, “many times I wish that it had been,” said Bublé. However, the immense support from loved ones, including strangers, went a long way in comforting the couple.

In 2021, Bublé reflected on his son’s battle with cancer and shared how the ordeal has changed him as a father. He said he lives a “deeper life now.”

Bublé stressed that he does not “wish that kind of pain upon any human being, but I do feel that when you’ve truly suffered when you’ve truly felt fear and loss, it allows you to live a deeper life.” He added that once one has experienced such, they would be able to “truly feel joy, gratitude, and happiness.”

Since 2017, little Noah’s cancer has gone into remission. After beating the disease, Noah appeared on his parents’ Instagram Live stream, where he could be seen sitting on his mother’s lap.

When he turned eight years old in August 2021, his father paid him a sweet birthday tribute on Instagram alongside an image of the father and son.

Bublé deemed his child a “hero,” adding that he had never met anyone as “brave,” polite, or as “good-hearted” as Noah.

The global star stated words could not express how proud he was of him or how his and his mother’s love for him goes beyond what anyone could imagine. “You’ve blessed our lives in every way. We hope God blesses you on your special day. Happy Birthday, Noah B,” he penned.

Even after Noah’s recovery, his dad still had difficulty processing the circumstances emotionally. In a carpool karaoke segment for “The Late Late Show with James Corden” in October 2018, Bublé held back tears when asked about how he handled his child’s situation, saying:

“It’s so hard to have to acknowledge it because it’s so painful to talk about. We got the diagnosis, and my whole life ended.”

However, he and Lopilato found happiness again after welcoming their third child and only daughter, Vida, in July 2018. The mom of three expressed that she was grateful to God for the gift he blessed them with and the joy, adding their first daughter gives them “hope.”

The couple is awaiting the arrival of their fourth baby, which according to Bublé, might be their last. He revealed that he and the former singer try their best to enjoy the pregnancy:

“I want it to be special for [Lusiana], and I know it goes fast. Since it’s probably the last one, I want to make sure that we’re enjoying every second of it.”

The pair announced they were expecting another child via the “Home” singer’s music video for “I’ll Never Not Love You,” which premiered in February 2022.

After returning from tour, Bublé posted a clip of Noah playing the piano, who practiced while he was gone. The doting dad showed his awe of his son, who continued to play the musical instrument effortlessly.

Bublé revealed that Noah surprised him by playing the piano after being away for work. He expressed being in awe after listening to him master it, including the song. “So, proud of my guy,” he wrote.
