Susan Lucci’s daughter, Liza, celebrates her birthday in a circle with her husband and four kids.

Liza learned about her son’s diagnosis and was shocked.

Susan Lucci is proud of her daughter for sharing her son’s diagnosis.

Susan Lucci is famous for her role in daytime television soap operas and has become a household name. She also built a beautiful family for herself, welcoming two children.

Susan and her husband, Helmut Huber, welcomed a daughter named Liza and a son named Andreas together. Her daughter recently celebrated her birthday and was surrounded by her family.

Liza celebrated her 48th birthday this week and marked the occasion by sharing an Instagram story. She smiled in a selfie as she said, “And just like that, I’m 48.” Her family were with her on the day.

Susan’s Daughter, Liza, Celebrated Her Birthday in A Circle of Her Husband and Four Children
Liza Huber followed in her mother’s acting footsteps and became a soap opera actress. Starting in 1999, she starred as Gwen Hotchkiss in “Passions.” She was then chosen as Miss Golden Globe in 2000.

When her run on “Passions” ended in 2008, Liza took a break from the screen and became the business owner of Sage Spoonfuls. The company is centered around selling tools that assist babies in eating.

Now, Liza is more focused on her family and celebrated her 48th birthday with her husband and her four children. She shared her Instagram stories during the past week to share her celebrations.

Her first photo showed her and her family on board a plane. The family smiled at the camera as they sat in their respective seats. She completed the post with an emoji of an airplane.

48 that year. After their travels had been completed, Liza switched to sharing photos of her family enjoying vacation activities.

The first vacation activity that Liza shared with her followers was of her husband in the pool with her children surrounding him. Each of her family members smiled at the camera as one of her sons donned a pair of swim goggles.

Liza also shared a photo of herself and her husband smiling at the camera. Liza wore a pair of sunglasses, and her husband wore a cap to protect their faces from the sun. They appeared happy.

Liza’s husband is an excellent father to their children. On Father’s Day last year, Liza took to Instagram to share photos of her husband and their children throughout the years and said how wonderful he was.

She mentioned his arms were always open to hug their children, his smile encouraged his children, and that his love for them had been felt every day. She then said that their life was better because he was in it.

Liza ended the post by saying she was sending love to all the fathers, grandfathers, and uncles worldwide who were celebrating the day. Many of Liza’s followers said the photos were terrific and her husband seemed like a great father.

When Liza Learned About Her Son’s Diagnosis
Liza and her tech executive husband, Alex Hesterberg, have four children; three boys named Royce, Brendan, and Mason and one daughter named Hayden. Yet when Liza was pregnant with Brendan, she said she knew there was something wrong.

At 31 weeks pregnant, Liza said she was in excruciating pain so bad that she almost couldn’t move. Brendan was born that night, nine weeks early. He weighed a measly 4 lbs and was immediately rushed to the NICU.

Almost a week after his birth he was placed on a ventilator when he stopped breathing. Liza was afraid her son wasn’t going to live through the ordeal. He was later diagnosed with cerebral palsy.

Liza was so shocked by the news that she “just froze” all she could do was cry. While she was upset by his diagnosis, she said she was simply glad he had the ability to walk, which many other children with cerebral palsy do not.

Liza said she realized something was wrong with her son when he was tripping and falling regularly and she couldn’t understand what was causing him to do that.

She said she tried to hide his diagnosis for many years, but realized it made her son think he had something to be ashamed of, which he does not. She now says she wants him to feel good and proud for overcoming challenges.

Susan is Proud of Her Daughter: They Walked the Red Carpet Together with Her Grandson
Susan recently said she is very proud of her daughter for speaking about him publicly and with pride. She said that by Liza opening up about her son, it has shown him that he should be proud of himself.

Susan also mentioned that it was wonderful for Brendan to know that his family was proud of him, no matter what he was going through and that he would always have the support of those around him.

Now, the family members are proud to share Brendan’s life achievements and attend red carpet events together to show off how proud they are of the young man and everything he has done.

Yellowstone” star Cole Hauser is a dedicated father of three children from his longtime marriage to former Actress and teen star Cynthia Lee Daniel. Continue reading for a peek into their life together.

Cole Hauser is a famous American actor known for portraying Rip Wheeler on the Neo-Western Television series “Yellowstone.” His character had a steamy on-screen romance with Beth Dutton, played by actress Kelly Reilly.

In Santa Barbara, California, he was born to his father, Cass Warner, an actor and founder of the film production company “Warner Sisters” and “Wings Hauser.” His father is of Irish, German, and Belgian descent, while his mother is Jewish.

Hauser made his on-screen debut in “School Ties” alongside other upcoming actors. After that, his next appearance was in Richard Linklater’s “Dazed and Confused.”

The actor also starred in the movie “Tigerland” and was nominated for an Independent Spirit Award for his performance. He also received a Movieline breakthrough performance for his work in the movie “White Oleander.”

His acting credits also include movies like “Tears of the Sun,” “Higher Learning,” “Hart’s War,” and “Too Fast Too Furious.” In 2013 he was part of the ensemble cast in the movie “Olympus Has Fallen.”

The actor is a doting father of three away from the screen and has been married to former actress Cynthia Daniel.

Cole Hauser’s wife Cynthia Lynn Daniel was born in Gainesville, Florida, on March 17, 1976. The couple has been married since December 22, 2006. Daniel got an early start in Hollywood when she and her twin sister, Brittany, began modeling at 11 years old.

The pair were also popularly known as the “Doublemint Twins,” who appeared in ads for “Doublemint Gum.” The twins starred in the TV show “Sweet Valley High” as Elizabeth and Jessica Wakefield from 1994 till 1997.

Daniel and her twin sister also appeared in the movie “Basketball Diaries” in 1995 and “That 80’s Show.” In 2002, Cynthia Daniel retired from acting.

Not much is known about how Hauser and Daniel met, but two years after the former retired from acting, she gave birth to their child, Ryland, in 2004. Two years later, the pair tied the knot.

The couple welcomed their second child, Colt, in 2008, and their third child, Steely Rose, was added to the family in 2013.

Since she retired from acting, Daniel worked as a professional photographer. She also has a photography company named “Five Arrows Photography.”

In an interview with The Havok Journal, Hauser made it known that he always makes time for his wife and each of their kids. The actor also explained he had to figure out the balance between working very hard and not neglecting his duties as a father and husband.

Cole Hauser grew up on a ranch in Oregon and spent most of his childhood on the back of a horse, where he developed his love for outdoor activities. The actor has branded these traits on his kids and takes them camping, hunting, and fishing.

His eldest child, son Ryland, born in September 2004, is actively involved in hiking, riding dirt bikes, target shooting, and traveling.

The 18-year-old also plays football, and he recently launched a “Students of the Year Campaign” for leukemia and lymphoma society alongside his friends Nick and Gio.

Apart from a few appearances on his parent’s Instagram accounts, little is known about the actor’s second child, Colt Daniel Hauser, who is now 14.

Hauser’s third child and daughter, Steely Rose, is ten years old. Like her brother Colt, not much is known about her aside from a few appearances on her mother’s Instagram account.

Famous actor Kevin Costner is one of Hauser’s co-stars in the Paramount Network series “Yellowstone.” He plays ranch owner and family patriarch John Dutton.

The pair have also developed a very close friendship off the screen, and recently, Hauser spoke to Fox News about his love and admiration for Costner.

Hauser explained that he and Costner, having worked together for multiple years, are good friends. He praised Costner for being a wonderful person and said he enjoys being around him.

He also painted Costner as someone he has looked up to creatively and said it has been an honor working with him on “Yellowstone.”

On the other hand, Costner also cheekily acknowledged Hauser’s inclusion in “People’s magazine’s” 2020 Sexiest Man Alive list with a post on his social media.

Cole Hauser and his wife Cynthia Daniel are also friends with actor Mathew McConaughey and his beau Camila Alves. Daniel and Alves worked out together during their pregnancies. After delivery, they were seen together with their husbands surfing in Malibu.

Cole Hauser’s wife and mother of three, Cynthia Daniel, donated her eggs to her twin sister Brittany whose battles with stage IV non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma meant she might never be able to have children.

After their appearance in “Sweet Valley High” and Cynthia Daniel’s subsequent retirement from acting, Brittany continued acting, starring in “White Chicks” and the TV series “The Game.”

Brittany revealed she thought she would be the first to get married and start a family, but her career was important. Sadly things went awry when Brittany was diagnosed with cancer in 2011 and had to undergo six months of chemotherapy.

After her recovery, she became determined to find a partner and have a child. Still, her plans were dampened when a fertility specialist told her she had a diminished egg reserve due to intensive chemotherapy, and having a child on her own would be impossible.

Brittany told Daniel, who discussed it with her husband Hauser and afterward agreed to donate her eggs to her twin.

Speaking on her decision to donate her eggs, Daniel revealed she saw it as a simple gift she could give to her sister. The mother of three said:

“I know Brittany would do it in a split second for me. And we’ve always shared everything, so why not this?”

Brittany married associate broker Adam Touni in 2017 but after three in vitro fertilization (IVF) attempts using Cynthia Daniel’s eggs were unsuccessful, the couple was scared their dream of being parents might never come true.

Instead, they tried surrogacy using Daniel’s eggs, and thankfully, they welcomed their daughter Hope on October 24, 2021.

Her Royal Highness Kate Middleton recently made headlines after being hospitalized. The Royal Family has since given an update about when the senior royal member would resume her duties.

Kate Middleton, the Princess of Wales, was admitted to The London Clinic in Marylebone on January 16, 2024, the Royal Family recently revealed on their Instagram page.

The senior royal member is expected to remain in the hospital for “ten to fourteen days before returning home to continue her recovery,” they wrote, adding:

“Based on the current medical advice, she is unlikely to return to public duties until after Easter.”

Middleton, whose condition is reportedly “not cancerous,” hopes to maintain normalcy during these times for the sake of her children and wishes that her personal medical information be kept private.

On behalf of the Princess of Wales, Kensington Palace issued an apology “to all those concerned for the fact that she has to postpone her upcoming engagements.”

Middleton, who previously revealed that she had “very bad morning sickness” during her first pregnancy, is said to look forward to continuing with many more public engagements much sooner.

The Royal Family’s Instagram followers commented on the post, sending their well wishes to Middleton while adding that they are keeping her in their prayers.

“Sending love and prayers to the Princess of Wales. Hoping for a speedy recovery,” wrote one person. Another echoed, “Our prayers are for the Princess of Wales to heal quickly and suffer little very pain[sic].”

A medical expert, Dr. Zoe Williams, has reportedly commented on the Princess of Wales’ medical condition. “This might be something that has been bothering her for her whole life, which she has not got round to resolving or an issue that has come to light more recently,” she said. Williams further noted that Middleton’s two-week stay at the hospital is a much longer period than one would expect.

Another expert, Dr. Deborah Lee, weighed in on the royal’s stay in the hospital. According to her, most patients who undergo surgery for abdominal surgery only stay at the hospital for four to seven days, which can be reduced to two to four days following a keyhole procedure known as laparoscopic surgery.

Lee explained it all depends on what type of procedure is performed and that it could take two months or more for the patient to be comfortable again and be phyiscally active.

Meanwhile, the royal’s longtime husband, Prince William, will also step away from his royal duties and postpone his trips to be by her side during her recovery and spend time with their children.

The royal couple shares three kids: Prince George, 10, Princess Charlotte, 8, and Prince Louis, 5, who recently returned to school after a holiday break. Middleton previously expressed that she wanted to take time off her royal duties in order to spend more time with her kids during school closures.

The mother of three and the heir to the British throne are known for their hands-on approach when parenting their children. They both have active roles in caring for their sons and their only daughter.

That said, it would reportedly not be much of a hassle for the Prince to juggle parenthood with his official duties because he typically does that often. Fatherhood for Prince William is of the utmost importance.

He reportedly has what he considers one paramount duty: training his eldest child, Prince George, who is set to take the reins one day as the King of England, being second in the line of succession.

An insider claimed that the father of three and his wife are considered normal parents who actively participate in events at their children’s schools. They reportedly never miss an occasion at Lambrook School in Berkshire, where their kids are enrolled.

The pair participate in all important activities at their kids’ school, and it has been public knowledge that the Princess of Wales does the school run daily.

A source claimed Middleton, who recently turned 42, and Prince William, 41, low-key slip into school events, including carol concerts, and are always present, ensuring their schedules can accommodate special occasions.

“The day after Kate’s carol service [at Westminster Abbey], it was the school Christmas fair, and they were all there, as they were the previous year. I saw them queueing up for tombola tickets like everyone else. They really act like a normal mum and dad,” the source revealed.

Now that Middleton’s recent hospitalization has put things on a halt regarding work, two upcoming international trips have reportedly been removed from the family’s schedule already.

The Prince and Princess of Wales had reportedly planned on visiting Rome later in the year but have had to cancel their tours. Their Rome trip was announced in December 2023. It was supposed to mark their first trip overseas on behalf of the Government as the Prince and Princess of Wales.

Middleton and Prince William’s last public appearance together with their kids was on the Royal Family’s traditional Christmas Day church outing on December 25, 2023.

Every year, the royals reportedly attend the service at the Church of St. Mary Magdalene in Norfolk. The family of five coordinated in green and blue outfits for the occasion, and the Prince and Princess were pictured holding their children’s hands

The royal couple had a full year in 2023 with their numerous appearances. In December 2023, they shared a clip showing them at their public engagements throughout the year and captioned it, “Thank you to everyone who has been a part of our year.”

In addition to the news of the Princess of Wales’ medical condition being made public, Buckingham Palace also announced that another senior member of the Royal Family, King Charles III, would undergo surgery.

The family patriarch is set to go to the hospital next week to receive treatment for an enlarged prostate. Although King Charles’ condition is reportedly benign, he will undergo a “corrective procedure.”

Much like the Prince and Princess of Wales, the palace revealed that His Royal Highness’ public engagements will also be postponed for a short while until he recovers. The news of King Charles’ upcoming operation came shortly after news of his daughter-in-law was made public – which is reportedly uncommon for medical updates about two senior royals to be released on the same day.

However, this was an exception, seeing that the 75-year-old had to cancel his engagements for January 18, 2024. He was set to meet foreign dignitaries and cabinet members in Scotland.

Notably, the health updates of two senior royals are rarely disclosed to the public, so it was of great significance that there were two updates on two different figures from the Royal Family released on the same day. Buckingham Palace seldom shares updates on health issues affecting the family members and often reveals limited information once it does disclose public updates.

Most importantly, King Charles willingly shared details of his medical condition to encourage other men who may be experiencing symptoms to go for checkups. Benign prostate enlargement is considered non-cancerous and is reportedly common in men over 50.

While it is regarded as harmless, it can cause symptoms and problems such as having trouble passing urine or emptying the bladder. Still, it does not necessarily mean the patient has a high chance of developing prostate cancer. There are reportedly several ways to deal with the condition, which include surgery, steam treatment, and lasers.

Andie MacDowell, a well-liked performer who debuted on screen in the 1980s and was formerly recognized for her unusual curling brown hair, is now promoting gray pride as a silver-haired starlet.

MacDowell, aging gracefully, stated that she likes to “compare herself to George Clooney, because why not?”

Andie MacDowell, a 65-year-old natural beauty with nothing to conceal, is a senior citizen as of her birthday on April 21.

The southern belle made her acting debut in 1984’s Greystroke: The Legend of Tarzan, Lord of the Apes after beginning her modeling career with high-end labels like Armani, Yves Saint Laurent, and Calvin Klein.

Because MacDowell’s drawl was too strong for the part of Jane in the Oscar-nominated movie, Glenn Close dubbed MacDowell’s voice instead.

Gwen Stefani’s emotions have been all over the place as a result of the holiday season, which brings both happy and sad news.

After learning of Vivienne Westwood’s death, the No Doubt singer posted a photo of the fashion queen on Instagram to express her grief.

“It hurts my heart to learn of the loss of the renowned Vivienne Westwood, who had a significant influence not just on the fashion business but also on popular culture,” Gwen said beside a photo of herself with the late fashion designer.

The last scene of the documentary Pretty Baby: Brooke Shields, about the 57-year-old actor’s life, career, and sexual objectification as a child, is an intimate family dinner at the West Village townhouse Shields shares with her husband, writer Chris Henchy, and two teenage daughters, Rowan, 19, and Grier, 16.

Shields asks her daughters if they have seen either of the films that catapulted her to teenage stardom: 1978’s Pretty Baby, about a child prostitute in turn-of-the-20th-century New Orleans, and 1980’s Blue Lagoon, an Adam and Eve–inspired island-survival fantasy. Grier says that edits of Pretty Baby on TikTok had steered her away from watching it in full. Rowan asks her mother if she appears naked in the film.

When Shields says, “Yes, my little 11-year-old body,” Rowan visibly shudders. “Okay, no, that’s weird, Mom,” Rowan says, her hands up in protest. Shields probes them as to why, while Henchy nervously chews his steak at the head of the table. “Child pornography!” cries Grier.

It sounds simple, but after two hours of watching Shields wrestle with the way that she was presented to the world and treated by the film and media industries as a young person, the documentary’s takeaway does not feel quite so straightforward.

I can only imagine the amount of unrelenting pressure most celebrities live their lives trying to deal with.

Criticism regarding one’s work is inevitable and, at times perhaps, even acceptable. Obviously no artist is going to create something that’s universally loved every time, just as entertainers are going to have bad nights once in a while.

Yet while fans expressing such opinions is part and parcel of being a high-profile individual, by this day and age I think we can all agree we hoped we’d be above personal attacks or trolling online.

Sadly, we’re not, and the internet has done a tremendous job of effectively serving as a megaphone in a town square with room for millions. Not only do celebrities run the risk of bumping into disgruntled fans in their everyday lives, but they also now have to live with a barrage of comments each time they decide to let others in by way of posting to their social platforms.

Halle Berry was reminded just how harsh the internet can be at the weekend, after she shared a stunning nude photo of herself.

Suffice to say Halle Berry broke the internet on Saturday when she posted a photo of herself standing on a balcony drinking a glass of wine and wearing … wait for it … absolutely nothing.

The 56-year-old Oscar-winning actress accompanied the picture with the caption: “I do what I wanna do.”

Yet while a good many of the responses in the comments field were positive (people at large cheered Berry on), there were, of course, also those who had negative things to say.

One person took particular exception to Berry’s nude photo, writing: “Imagine being in your 50s, still posting nudes for attention in menopause when you should be chilling with the grandkids. Aging with dignity is no longer a thing.”

Now, given that Berry’s been an A-lister for a considerable amount of time, one could be forgiven for thinking she might just turn a blind eye to her naysayers, treating them with disregard they deserve.

That’s not the cloth from which the ‘Catwoman’ star is cut from, however.

No, the Hollywood star clapped back with a response that her followers found absolutely hilarious.

The “Monster’s Ball” actress retweeted the post with her own comment, which read, “Did you guys know the heart of a shrimp is located in its head?”

“As someone roughly your age.. keep living your best life and sharing whatever the heck you want when you want,” one Twitter used shared.

Another user wrote: “Imagine getting mad because a beautiful woman is proud of her body, couldn’t be me.”

Actress Audra McDonald wrote: “You won the internet today with this clap back.”

Won the internet indeed. Unsurprisingly, Berry’s response to the troll got far more love than the initial comment.

I for one love it when small-minded would-be bullies are put in their place.

Are you a fan of Halle Berry and her work? Do you think she did anything wrong in posing naked for the photo mentioned above?

Let us know thoughts and feelings in the comments box!

This year, the star became a mother, twice. Earlier this year, Paris Hilton and her husband Carter Reum had a son , Phoenix, and just a week ago the star announced that they now also have a daughter , London. The celebrity did not comment on the method by which the babies were born, but it is quite obvious that they were born by a surrogate mother. Paris, of course, is criticized on the Internet for this: they say that she is buying children for herself and, in general, she did not give birth, which means there is no connection with the child. In the end, the star, accustomed to hate since childhood, could not stand it.

The star explained in her reality show that the reason why she and her husband turned to a surrogate mother was not at all because Paris did not want to walk around with a belly. On the contrary, she dreams of feeling “the baby’s kicks and other exciting moments.” The star said that it was about her publicity. Whether she didn’t want to discuss it, or to disappear from life, or was concerned about safety, it’s unclear. But what is clear is that the decision to become a surrogate mother was not easy for Paris. In addition, the star was worried about the health of her children and decided that it would be better if another woman carried them.

The celebrity’s husband also took the floor. Carter worries that their family will never be “normal.” His wife, he says, has a very famous last name, and I want our kids to be at least sometimes not the children of Paris Hilton. Nevertheless, the couple treats this as a given and philosophically. “I don’t think we know everything that awaits us on this journey, but we’ll just figure it out as we go,” he said.

Donna Mills returned to Hollywood at 82 after an 18-year disappearance.

The “Knots Landing” star raised an interracial girl alone that she adopted at 54.

Before becoming a single mother, Donna was “happily unmarried” with a longtime partner for years.

In February 2023, Donna Mills was 82 and back on screen after an 18-year break with a camera in the film “Nope.” She would also be in a leading role in the first series of television films based on the Cutler Family novels.

The star lived in Brentwood, Los Angeles, where she maintained good looks. Donna still had her iconic blond hair, still lush and complete, and although she didn’t opt much for cosmetic enhancement, she did use fillers.

The star said she used them because she didn’t want to “look like a duck.” Her grown-up daughter, Chloe Mills, then 28, was living with the legendary actress while working as a model, and in February 2023, Donna shared the latest photo of herself.

In an Instagram post, the actress shared an image of her alongside her daughter and another of her alone. The star revealed in the caption that she and her daughter, whom she called “bunny,” were in the Daily Mail, adding:

“She’s the best decision I’ve ever made… now that she’s all grown up, I couldn’t be happier to be back in-front of the camera.”

Fans were thrilled to see the actress’ latest image and her daughter. One person was surprised to see Donna’s photo and wanted to know if the pictures were taken 20 years before because the star hadn’t “changed a bit!!”

Someone else thought the mother-daughter pair were both “just stunning.” A third person believed Donna and Chloe were “blessed to have each other” because there was “no greater love than that,” while another fan thought the duo was “beautiful ladies” before noting how the actress had raised a “wonderful and talented lady.”

Did Donna Raise Chloe with a Man?
According to her IMDb account, Donna once had a long-term relationship with Richard Holland. An October 1986 magazine article revealed that the actress was “happily unmarried” by age 41 and was dating Holland.

The star and the writer-producer had been in a relationship for several years. In 1983, Donna, then 37, confessed that she always had a relationship, but during the past five years, she had been dating one person – Holland, then 31.

Hollan was an advertising executive and a screenwriter, and he was once a rock guitarist. Although the pair had been together for a long time, they lived in their two-bedroom houses, with the actress’s one in Beverly Hills.

Her home even had a terraced outdoor swimming pool, while Holland’s home was near Studio City and featured a hot tub. The “Knots Landing” star once revealed that there was a point where she and her boyfriend were “practically living together.”

However, it didn’t seem far on Holland when she was shooting shows and would get 5 a.m. wake-up calls. The couple then decided they’d stay together only on weekends, but the screenwriter said they didn’t live together because they weren’t married.

Donna wasn’t rushing into marriage, and she and her boyfriend had their own homes to escape to whenever needed. The actress explained that she didn’t see getting married as giving “more security” than one who wasn’t in a union.

Despite them not being married, the star admitted that Holland was the change she wanted. The relationship fizzled out, with the pair never having children together, and Donna had her daughter alone.

Why Did Donna Decide to Adopt Alone at 54 and Disappear from the Public?
Before Donna adopted Chloe, she was focused on her career. In 2022, the actress confessed that she realized something – a child- was missing at a certain point and decided to go after it, adopting her daughter when she was four.

Donna was 54 when she got Chloe and recalled people saying she was too old to have a baby, but she never felt the same. The star said she never felt older than other mothers in their 20s and took an 18-year break from her career to be home with her daughter.

Throughout those years, Chloe’s mother didn’t work except for the first few years. Donna did some television movies and other things that allowed her to take her daughter with her wherever but when Chloe started school, her mother couldn’t leave town for two months at a time, with her admitting:

“I didn’t become a mother to give her to a nanny.”

Chloe’s mother was described as an ambitious person who “concentrated” on her career as an actress or a film production company owner. Donna was already well-known on television when she gave up her career to become a single parent.

The star wanted children even though it hadn’t been the most important thing in her life. In 1989, she left “Knots Landing” but had minor roles and her company to fall back on but wanted something more and noticed she felt jealous when she saw children running to their mothers.

The actress felt discontent and realized she wanted to be a mother and had something to give a child. It took a Los Angeles adoption agency nine months to find a baby for Donna, who “fell in love” with Chloe the moment she set her eyes on her.

The actress’s only child [Chloe Mills] wanted it to be the two of them, and Donna [Mills] was fine with that.
The star felt her new baby was hers and believed the right child who was meant for her came. She did some films in the first year or two because she could take her daughter along, but she stopped when the child started school.

If Donna had lived in the UK, adoption might’ve been hard for her as a single woman in her mid-50s. However, in the US, private agencies arranged most of the adoptions, and it was a different process, but the actress said it hadn’t crossed her mind, although it should’ve.

California didn’t have any marriage requirements or upper age limit for adoption, but the adopter had to see a psychiatrist before the adoption. However, no one in the adoption process mentioned Donna’s age to her, but some outsiders weren’t pleased, with her recalling:

“People would sometimes say: ‘You’re going to have a toddler running around when you’re 60 —that’s going to be terrible!’”

Chloe’s mother never felt older than the 30 years younger mothers in the playgroup with her, and she was even friends with some of them today. People she knew never commented on the fact that she adopted an interracial child.

However, Donna still joined an organization that specialized in interracial adoptions because she felt there might be issues she’d need to address. The organization had classes and summer camp where the actress learned things she wasn’t aware of, like buying certain hair care products for her daughter.

At age three, the star asked her daughter if she’d like a sister or brother, and the child agreed. Donna then told the child that she’d have to hold the baby sometimes, and Chloe hilariously changed her mind about having a sibling, and the discussion was put to rest!

The actress’s only child wanted it to be the two of them, and Donna was okay with that. Taking on parenthood as a single mother was a rare route, but the star could devote herself to motherhood entirely because she’d made money throughout her career.
