Anderson Cooper and his ex-boyfriend, Benjamin Maisani, are co-parenting two children who live with the journalist. The trio lives in a fire station that he converted to accommodate the offspring.

On February 10, 2022, Anderson Cooper announced the birth of his second child on the “Anderson Cooper 360” program. The CNN anchor shares the boy with his former longtime partner and best friend, Benjamin Maisani.

Benjamin is a businessman who decided to open his bar, “Eastern Bloc,” after working at one. He built relationships with celebrities at his establishment, and one of these people was Anderson.

The journalist used to frequent the bar, and that’s probably where the pair fell in love. According to Wealthy Persons, Benjamin’s net worth was estimated at around eight million dollars; in his announcement about his new son, Anderson introduced him by stating:

“This is Sebastian Luke Maisani-Cooper… 6.8 pounds at birth, healthy and happy [with] occasional [adorable] hiccups. He mostly sleeps, eats and poops, but already seems wise and thoughtful.”

The co-parent also took the time to thank the nurses and doctors who helped bring the little boy into the world. Anderson also showed gratitude to the surrogate who carried his second son.

He thanked the woman and her family for the sacrifices they made and the love they gave Sebastian over the past year. It wasn’t the first time the television personality announced the birth of his children on-air.

In April 2020, he took a moment on CNN to reveal the birth of his first son, Wyatt Morgan Cooper. On February 25, 2022, Anderson was interviewed on “Live with Kelly and Ryan,” where he updated viewers about how Wyatt was bonding with Sebastian, saying:

“They seem to be getting along really well. I mean, ‘Getting along well’ — Sebastian sleeps. He can’t say Sebastian yet, he calls him Luke. So every morning he wants to go say ‘Good morning, Luke.’”

After Sebastian’s birth, Anderson took three weeks off to be with his newborn son by taking paternity leave. Speaking with Ryan Seacrest and Kelly Ripa before taking the break, he shared how he was enjoying the time with his boys, noting:

“It’s great to be able to come home and decompress.”

The father of two also revealed the nightly bonding routine he had with Wyatt saying, “And every night to be able to feed Wyatt and give him his milk, he falls asleep on my chest, and there’s nothing better.”

Anderson and the boys also have a morning routine. They go to the diner every morning, and Wyatt and Sebastian love to take a swim. The proud parent enjoys preparing his sons for their afternoon nap by sitting and reading to them until they fall asleep in his arms.

Wyatt and Sebastian also play well together and even use some of their famous dad’s old toys — that he used to play with his brother. Anderson said seeing her sons’ relationship with each other is “incredible” to witness.

Benjamin, a property and nightclub owner, started co-parenting with Anderson when Wyatt was born. The news anchor explained that he would co-parent with his ex even though they weren’t dating anymore, adding, “We’re a family.”

He revealed in an interview that their co-parenting relationship is effortless. When he goes to work at night, Benjamin takes over by looking after the kids. They both wake up right before the boys do, and get them their milk, then spend the first few hours of the day with them. According to Anderson, Benjamin speaks French with their sons.

Anderson made it clear that little Sebastian would be brought up by him and Benjamin, saying, “We’re co-parents. We’re a family.” Benjamin was already legally adopting their first child, who calls him “papa.”

The older boy gave the television personality the title of “daddy.” When the adoption is finalized, Wyatt’s last name will be changed to incorporate both parents,’ Maisani-Cooper, like Sebastian’s.

In a September 2023 interview, the 56-year-old famed broadcaster gushed about being a father, saying, “This is the best time in my life. There is no doubt about it.”

Anderson and Benjamin started seeing each other in 2009, went public with the relationship in 2015, and revealed they’d broken up in 2018. The couple might not be in a relationship before, but they were so well bonded that the star revealed:

“Maisani is going to be a co-parent to Wyatt even though we’re not together anymore. He’s my family, and I want him to be Wyatt’s family as well.”

In September 2021, Anderson got candid about the strange co-parenting arrangement between him and his ex. He confessed that it worked for them and Wyatt, noting:

“It’s probably an unusual setup, but I knew he would be a great dad, and he is. We’re exes, but we’re family to each other, and we love each other as family and as co-parents.”

The author regularly shares updates on his older son and once revealed how frustrated he’d missed Wyatt’s first steps. However, Benjamin rarely updates but once said his ex changed when Wyatt was born, and Anderson explained their co-parenting arrangement, stating:

“I’ve always believed that if you’ve been with somebody and that ends, in terms of an intimate relationship, if you love somebody, there’s no reason why that love shouldn’t continue.”

In February 2021, during a “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” interview, Anderson confessed to host Ellen DeGeneres that he and Benjamin once wanted different things to start a family. The star elaborated:

“It’s interesting, because he wasn’t really sure he wanted to have a kid—which is one of the reasons we probably broke up—but then, he came around to the idea. Now he is such a great parent.”

Inside Anderson’s Firehouse, Where He Lives with His Kids

On June 9, 2020, Anderson gave People a tour of the home that he converted from a fire station. Viewers got to see what Wyatt’s nursery looked like with its central theme, blue, featuring throughout the space.

The nursery was still in progress, and some photos hadn’t been hung up yet. One painting, done by Anderson’s late mother, Gloria Vanderbilt, of herself and the star’s late father, who Wyatt was named after.

Another image showed Anderson’s handprint when he was a child. One corner of the room had lots of stuffed animals that once belonged to the doting dad, while the blue wallpaper had a beetle design, and a paper mache cupid was hung up above the baby’s white crib.

Anderson explained that he wanted all the items in his son’s room to have personal history and significance. A changing area and a picture of Benjamin and his sister when they were younger were added to the room.

Anderson bought the 8,240 square feet Greenwich Village, New York firehouse in September 2010 for $4.3 million. It had its original brass fire poles, dry hoses, spiral staircases, and walls with murals showing off the fire station’s history.

In 2015, David Beckham and Kevin Hart shot an H&M campaign in Anderson’s [Cooper] home.
In September 2018, the “60 Minutes” correspondent indirectly showed his house off to The Hollywood Reporter while spending three days with the publication. The star lived with Lilly, his Welsh springer spaniel, and he and Benjamin had broken up earlier that year.

The home’s kitchen boasts an island. Anderson spent years restoring it and installed an elevator while the second floor has a salon with taxidermy and Old Master paintings plus hand-painted signs that he collected during trips to Cuba and Africa.

His living room features a side table adorned with a Victorian calendar that he found in his mother’s bedroom. It has the date July 22, 1988, which is the day his brother, Carter Cooper, died by suicide at 23 in their mom’s apartment. Gloria relocated several times after her son died and took along the calendar with her. Anderson once explained that he did not want to let go of everything after he got rid of her apartment following her death.

Including his great-great-grandfather’s Civil War commissioning notice, the star’s personal artifacts are also featured in the home. A photo by his late friend, Tim Hetherington, shows a younger Anderson in Afghanistan.

Another item that stood out in his home was an 18th-century Italian marble, Memento Mori. The firehouse, built in 1906, was renovated by architect Cary Tamarkin with the 20th-century Beaux-Arts building’s interiors.

In 2015, David Beckham and Kevin Hart shot an H&M campaign in Anderson’s home. The advert allowed fans to view Anderson’s beautiful home showing off its living room, gym, roof terrace, and one of his bedrooms.

In addition to losing his mom in 2019 at age 95, and his brother, Anderson’s dad also died in 1978 from a heart attack. After avoiding the grieving process for many years, he finally decided to face it head-on on his podcast, “All There Is With Anderson Cooper,” and has interviewed actress Molly Shannon, who opened up about her own grief. “It has certainly made me feel less alone,” Anderson said of his podcast.

With a number one show to her name, Patricia Richardson is a Hollywood name that many people are highly familiar with. Starring as Jill Taylor, the mother of a busy family in the hit sitcom “Home Improvement,” she has spent years on the TV show’s set, bringing her character to life and being the antithesis of her co-star Tim Allen.

Now, the actress is 72 years old and proudly showed off her gray locks at her daughter’s wedding. Richardson looked radiant, posting a slew of photos to Twitter after the ceremony where her family had spent some time together celebrating.

Richardson posted several snapshots of the big day, showing her children and other members of the family gathered to celebrate her daughter, Roxanne Baker’s wedding. The images showed Richardson holding a baby and planting a kiss on the little one’s forehead. There were also snaps of her kids sharing a moment.

While she worked on “Home Improvement” for eight years, Richardson also tried to balance family life.

The actress captioned the images by writing about how the family had to wait through three years of the COVID-19 pandemic and her daughter’s indecision about venues to have the wedding. Finally, they found the perfect site for the ceremony in the mountains of Ojai, where they spent a weekend celebrating the happy new couple.

Besides her daughter, Richardson also has two sons. Roxanne has a twin brother, Joseph Castle Baker, who works as a stand-up comedian, writer, and actor. Joe has made numerous comedy skits, including one about him coming out as gay to his parents. The twins have an older brother, Henry Baker, who is also married.

In the past, Richardson has been open about the choices she has made in life and the things she would regret when she eventually looked back on her life. Many would think the actress regretted her choice to stop working on “Home Improvement,” turning down a massive contract. She opened up about why she stepped down.

Why Did Patricia Richardson Reject Millions?

Although “Home Improvement” made her career a success, the show also took its toll on Richardson’s personal life. She has been open about her marital struggles, saying she initially never trusted herself to be married. Nonetheless, she tied the knot with Ray Baker, and the pair shared many happy years.

These days, Richardson is still a devoted mother and grandmother.

While she worked on “Home Improvement” for eight years, Richardson also tried to balance family life. She had three children to raise, a husband who wanted her to be home more, and parents to take care of. For a while, the actress was the only caretaker for her parents, who had increasingly bad health.

Nonetheless, she kept working for close to a decade. During the course of her career, she also faced a divorce from her long-time husband. Although Baker encouraged her to work on “Home Improvement” at first, the show started taking up all her time, and after a while, the pair couldn’t work out their differences.

Richardson recalled how she would often turn down doing charity events because she never had time to spend with her children. Eventually, Baker filed for divorce, making Richardson a single mother. After the separation, she realized she was the only one around to look after her kids, so she had to make a choice.

Besides being an actress on the show, Richardson also wrote. The actress helped the show’s creators make her character seem as real and relatable as possible. But she couldn’t keep working so many hours and be a good mom to her children, so she made the difficult choice to step down from the show.

Richardson refused to work on “Home Improvement’s” ninth year, turning down a $30 million deal in the process. She also turned down another project that won 30 Emmys. Despite this, the actress is glad she chose her family over her career, recalling, “I was away from them more than I wanted and felt I missed so many things.”

Does Patricia Richardson Have Any Regrets?

Giving up a role like the one she had would leave many people looking back and wondering how their life would have been had they decided to accept the offer. Although Richardson does think back about some of the things she missed out on because she chose her family over her career, the actress believes she made the best choice.

She opened up about the time before she decided to quit “Home Improvement,” recalling how she had to take care of her mother and father, who were seriously ill in their last few years. With her sister’s help, Richardson took care of her parents while working on “West Wing,” and by the time she finished, they had both passed away.

Getting through “Home Improvement” proved challenging even though she enjoyed it. Richardson is proud of the fact that she worked hard to make a success of her career, but she’s glad to have stepped down when she did. The actress also noted that she had been away from her kids for so long that she had to work on her parenting skills again.

These days, Richardson is still a devoted mother and grandmother. She often shares snapshots of herself with her family. On May 7, 2023, she shared an image of her with her grandchild. In the caption, she wrote, “Happy Happy Mother’s Day to all mothers and grandmothers today!”

Although Richardson gave up her role in “Home Improvement,” she’s living a happy life as a grandmother. She shared an image of her grandson and granddaughter playing in their yard, showing the young boy putting his arms around her granddaughter in a playful gesture. The proud granny wrote, “Grandson learning about unwelcome hugging.”

Moving to another city was the reason for a couple to buy their own place. Due to the limited budget, they chose a modest one-room flat with an area of 34 square metres. The new owners did not like the old interior, so they turned to designers to create a unique and comfortable space.

Entrance hall

The walls in the hallway were levelled and painted with light moisture-resistant paint. The floor was laid with porcelain stoneware under marble. At the entrance there are decorative wooden panels with hooks for clothes. Next to it, a wall-mounted console with a mirror and a turquoise pouffe were installed. A spacious storage cabinet with turquoise doors was placed between the kitchen and the room.

Kitchen

In the kitchen, the floor is also laid with porcelain tiles. A refrigerator is installed at the entrance, and behind it there is a dining area with a round table and a cosy sofa. Behind the sofa is an accent wall with a mural and voluminous panels.

Opposite is a corner kitchen set in green and wooden colours, and the apron is tiled in blue-green.

Room

The living room, located at the entrance to the room, has blue coloured walls and laminate flooring. A storage system with a TV is located to the left of the entrance. Opposite is a large grey sofa and a slatted partition dividing the space into zones.

Behind the partition is a sleeping area with a double bed, a bedside table, a TV and a compact dressing table. On the wall behind the bed, a mural with three-dimensional panels reappeared. A bar counter was installed on the balcony.

Bathroom and WC

For the design of the bathroom and the toilet they chose classic white, black rectangular tiles and tiles with a geometric pattern.

The washing machine is conveniently located opposite the sink.

A poor grandson who was shoveling his late granny’s beloved garden unearthed a mysterious jar buried in the soil. He found dozens more and followed the hints to a startling encounter in the lawyer’s office.

What happens when you fail to respect the last wishes of your late elders? And what if they had secretly planned or “buried” a jolting surprise for you “only if” you fulfill that wish?

Georgetown brothers Charlie and Kevin were torn between such a wish. After their granny Josephine died, they got her last letter stating they would get her beloved garden as an inheritance. Her main condition was that they care for her garden and ensure it produced rich fruits and vegetables throughout all seasons.

While 16-year-old Charlie happily accepted the offer, his older brother Kevin, 18, was furious with his granny for leaving them a small garden and nothing else…

“Just a garden?” Kevin fumed. “Who wants to till the soil of this piece of useless land? I thought she’d bequeath her house. Silly old lady! I hate her!”

“What was that noise?” he exclaimed after hearing a crackling sound of glass. He shoveled again and realized it was coming from the soil.

“But Kevin, granny loved this garden, and maybe she wants us to cherish her last wish,” said Charlie, hurt by his brother’s fury.

“Last wish, my foot. Why didn’t she take it to the grave with her? I’m not getting my hands and legs dirty in this mud. Suit yourself with your silly old granny’s wish, loser.”

The furious sibling walked away, hurling his late granny Josephine’s letter at Charlie’s face. “And don’t you come to me begging for money. You’ll make a fortune by selling those rotten potatoes and tomatoes!” Kevin mocked him and stormed out of the garden.

Charlie was upset, but he decided to honor his late granny’s wish. He happily accepted her offer and promised to return the next day with gardening tools to get started.

The following morning, Charlie rolled up his sleeves and began watering the garden. “Granny maintained it so well,” he observed. “Just some pruning, and I’ll start transplanting the bushes.”

In her letter, Josephine had explicitly asked her grandsons to transplant the rose bushes to new spots. The soil was moist, so Charlie thought it would make his job easy. He took a shovel and spaded the area around the first rose bush with all the force he could muster.

“What was that noise?” he exclaimed after hearing a crackling sound of glass. He shoveled again and realized it was coming from the soil.

Charlie grabbed his small handheld shovel and began digging. Moments later, he sat back in surprise after finding a broken glass jar with a note. “A note? Is it from grandma?” he muttered and carefully took the letter out.

“Thank you, boys, for not forgetting me. I’m not so heartless as to leave you with only tomatoes and cucumbers!” read the first line. “Don’t stop digging near the rose bushes because you have many more ‘treasures’ to dig out, 24 to be exact! I just needed to make sure you honored my memory!”

“23 more glass jars buried in the garden? What, no way?!” Charlie exclaimed and began looking around for more rose bushes. He found 23 rose bushes in 23 different spots in the garden.

Exhausted and panting, Charlie excavated 22 jars, each stashed with cash and coins. He was tired, and it was scorching hot, but he was determined to find the last jar and dug the last rose bush. To his dismay, there was no jar there.

“Where is the last one?” he mumbled, looking around to see if he had missed anything

The garden was a mess. Besides not finding the 24th jar, Charlie was exhausted thinking about the long work he had to do by replanting all the bushes in their new spots.

He looked up at the sky and promised his granny he would plant them the next day. “I promise, granny, but before that, I have to find the last jar. It’s not here. Where is it?” he asked and marched across the garden for clues.

That’s when he remembered his granny’s favorite plant, a rosemary bush on the farther end of the garden, just below her bedroom window. Granny Josephine loved the herb’s fragrance and had always wanted it to be near her bedroom window to enjoy its scent.

“That must be it!” Charlie shouted in joy. He walked over to the spot with the rosemary bush and began to dig. His instincts proved right when he heard the clinking of glass.

Charlie carefully dug out the jar but was a little taken aback. There was no money in it, but it was stashed with a scroll.

Curious, the grandson opened the jar and found a document, to his surprise. It mentioned that whoever had this document would have to contact the enclosed number for further details.

Charlie found a phone number with a certain “Alex Johnson” mentioned below it. He reached out to the person and was immediately called to the lawyer’s office the next day.

“Oh, you must be Mrs. Josephine Parker’s grandson,” Alex said, handing out a document to the boy. “I was doubtful when she told me that her grandsons would do anything to honor her wish. But I am surprised that only one showed up!”

As it turned out, it was the late granny’s second part of the will. According to it, the grandson who possessed the first part of the document would get the house and a family heirloom.

“A family heirloom?” a surprised Charlie asked. “She never told me anything about it.”

The lawyer smiled and gave him a jewelry box. Charlie was stunned when he opened it and found a stone-studded ring and a few pieces of expensive jewelry with a note.

“It belonged to my grandma, my mother, and me. Now, it belongs to you. I hope you keep it to remember me by. Love, Granny Josephine.”

Charlie shed tears of joy. Although he had to wait for two more years until he turned 18 to claim the inheritance, he was happy and thanked his granny for everything she left him.

Two years later, on his 18th birthday, Charlie became the legal heir to his late granny’s house and heirloom. He refurbished the house with the $22K he inherited and moved in after finishing school.

In these two years, his older brother Kevin tried his best to claim the legacy and throw his brother out. But his wicked efforts turned futile, and all he got was disappointment for not honoring his late granny’s wish.

Meanwhile, Charlie continued to work hard in his Granny Jospehine’s garden. He bought another piece of land near it and cultivated exotic fruits and flowers. Ultimately, he started exporting fresh garden produce to other states and became an aspiring businessman.

Charlie, a once-poor lad, now owned several acres of agricultural land and a deluxe house in town. Regardless of his newfound riches, the humble grandson continued to cherish his late granny’s wish. He also ensured her garden always bloomed with beautiful flowers, rich fruits, and vegetables throughout the year!

Kirk Cameron went from being a loved Hollywood star to a “Hollywood freak.”

Cameron and his wife, Chelsea Noble, have raised their six kids in a Christ-centered home.

Cameron and Noble have been married for 31 years. The actor loves his wife dearly and won’t kiss anyone other than her.

Kirk Cameron was a loved Hollywood star when he starred in the 1980s hit “Growing Pains.” He was a spunky and handsome teenager who many schoolgirls crushed on.

The actor’s pop culture icon status diminished when he became an outspoken Christian. Cameron didn’t take a similar path as many teenage stars in his days did.

Many Hollywood celebrities believe Cameron is too religious, as Hollywood scolds and mocks him for being a vocal evangelical Christian.

The actor’s recent acting and directing projects hold profound Christian messages, which has made him unpopular in the eyes of his former fans. Cameron noted:

“I’m kind of a Hollywood freak. I didn’t really turn out the way most people turn out growing up in this industry.”

Still, Cameron’s statements and stands on sexuality have made him a darling among conservative Christians who love what he does in his personal and professional life.

Surprisingly, before Cameron welcomed Jesus into his life, he was an atheist raised in a family that never attended church. One day, he went to church with a friend’s father, and as he has said many times, he realized he would end up in hell.

The 52-year-old said he couldn’t kiss the actress because he had vowed “not to kiss any other woman” who wasn’t his wife.
This awakening led to Cameron taking the Christian faith seriously, becoming born again, marrying one of his “Growing Pains” costars, and creating a family with her.

Cameron married his “Growing Pains” costar Chelsea Noble after he got saved. The couple adopted four children and lived in Los Angeles, not far from the Hollywood sign.

After adopting four kids, the pair had two kids together. Cameron and Noble’s adopted kids are Jack Cameron, Isabella Cameron, Ahna Cameron, and Luke Cameron. The couple’s biological children are Olivia Cameron and James Cameron.

Noble said she was always passionate about adopting because she and her brother were adopted. She added that they chose to adopt before having their biological kids so that the adopted kids would know they were their first choice.

The pair formed a family quickly as they welcomed their kids, each having only a year apart from the next. Noble said she doesn’t feel any different about her adopted and biological kids because she has a special bond with all of them that comes from God:

“It’s been an incredible journey, we always said when they were, you sort of forget who is adopted and who is not adopted, it’s like, it’s your family.”

Cameron is a father to six kids in his multi-racial family and wants to protect his children. The actor said this when speaking about technology’s effects on children.

The actor said his family is pro-technology. However, he advised families to set boundaries to protect their loved ones because of the many hours children and parents spend on technology devices.

Cameron has become an advocate for family and marriage and wanted to assist parents with ways to connect with their kids in a technology-driven world.

The actor’s daughter, Isabella, once shared an emotional post on her Instagram, thanking her parents for raising her and her siblings in a Christ-centered home.

Isabella added that she adored her “beautiful siblings” and loved Cameron and Noble for opening their hearts and home and deciding to adopt:

“Jack, Ahna, Luke, Olivia, and James, I love you all so much…May our hearts forever be sweetly and completely entwined ❤️.”

The couple’s other daughter Ahna also celebrated Cameron on Father’s Day. She said she was “constantly proud” of the actor because of his love for God first, followed by family, and then people.

Cameron and Noble raised their kids to love and understand each other by teaching them that God makes families in all different colors, sizes, and shapes.

Cameron and Noble got married in 1991. They met on the “Growing Pains” set, where the two played boyfriend and girlfriend. The couple fell in love offscreen and tied the knot when Cameron was 20 and Noble 26.

The two have since been championing marriages built on God. The “Fireproof” star urged married couples to focus on their responsibilities rather than concentrating on what their spouses could be doing to improve their marriage.

He explained that marriages come with instructions about what a husband and wife should do, “and we find them right there in God’s words.” As per Cameron, husbands are to love their wives, while wives are to respect and follow their husband’s lead.

The actor revealed that most contentious marriages arise because spouses blame each other for their marital problems instead of taking the blame for their own faults.

Cameron has shown commitment to his marriage not just by words but through actions too. In 2008, while promoting his movie “Fireproof,” the actor said there was a scene where he was required to kiss the actress playing his wife.

The 52-year-old said he couldn’t kiss the actress because he had vowed “not to kiss any other woman” who wasn’t his wife. The filmmakers had to find a way to shoot this scene, so they dressed Cameron’s wife as the movie’s female lead and shot the scene in silhouette.

As per the actor, when he kisses his wife behind the scenes, they become the same husband and wife who are just honoring their marriage. Cameron also revealed that he chose “Fireproof” because it’s a movie that showcases his beliefs and because he loved his wife dearly.

Cameron and Noble have been married for 31 years now. The actor shared a cute throwback picture of the two in 2020 when they were celebrating their 29th wedding anniversary. He wrote:

“So thankful that after 29 years and turning 50, Chelsea still hasn’t turned me in for a newer model! #grateful.”

Kirk Cameron and Noble view marriage as a sacred and precious institution that should be cherished and celebrated. Despite the unfortunate trend of marriages breaking apart in our modern society, they believe it should be regarded as beautiful and remarkable.

Julia says life as a mother is unbelievably fulfilling. She has taken on every aspect of being a homemaker. She cooks breakfast for her brood daily, she cleans the kitchen, and by the time her myriad of chores are done, it’s time to start lunch. By the time dinner comes around, she has had a full, productive day. She said:

“I don’t have the luxury of sitting around any more. I must have had bags of spare time before I had children but I don’t know what I did with it and I didn’t appreciate it.”

She also gets to spend a lot of time with her family and said with a smile, “My life at home gives me absolute joy.” Although she loves caring for her family, life at home can sometimes become slightly tedious. Julia explained:

“And, as with anybody who’s a mom or a wife, it just becomes part of your everyday routine. Some days it’s super fun and some days it’s a chore.”

However, she hasn’t retired from acting altogether. It just takes more convincing to get her to take on a role. Julia admitted that whenever she finds a project with a fascinating plot or a compelling character, she is still tempted to do it.

What Did Julia Roberts Say about Cooking 3 Meals a Day for Her Family?

The “Eat, Pray, Love” actress immersed herself in her new life so much that she didn’t even tell her kids what she does as a job. For the longest time, they had no idea their mom was one of the most famous ladies in Hollywood.

It’s almost impossible not to notice a star of her caliber, and they eventually started catching on. But initially, Julia didn’t tell them what she did, and they just assumed she had no job because she spent so much time cooking meals and caring for the house.

Julia shared a bit about her approach to preparing meals and where her inspiration and love for cooking came from. She learned a lot from her mother, who preferred to make everything herself using ingredients from her garden. Although she doesn’t go quite as far, she still has a few tricks up her sleeve.

Since her children have grown older, they’ve realized more and more that their mother is a successful actress.

The actress commented that cooking for her family is a “privilege,” “honor,” and “luxury” she didn’t realize. Her family has made her life even more fulfilling than it has been, and even her co-stars took to her new role as mom. She laughed about how Julianne Nicholson sewed new sleeping bags for Hazel’s dolls.

What Life Does Julie Roberts Live With Her Family?

Despite her widespread fame, Julia prefers to be a regular mom when she’s at home. She shared that she loves to have family meals together, so they can all share in each other’s company regularly. She prefers having dinner and breakfast with her children, saying:

“I usually have breakfast and dinner with my kids every day. I think it really punctuates, you know, starting things together and sort of processing and winding it down together.”

Since her children have grown older, they’ve realized more and more that their mother is a successful actress, and she started taking them along whenever she was filming a movie that required her to travel. She mentioned that having her kids around keeps her down to earth:

“There’s something very humbling when you have kids, and you come home from some event and you have on this big dress and heels and diamonds, and it’s like, ‘Can I have a snack?’ And you go, ‘Yeah.’”

The actress said she and her husband, Daniel, agreed they would raise their kids as if they were just another regular family. Julia emphasized the importance of teaching her kids essential life skills, like doing their laundry, making their own beds, and looking after themselves.

Paparazzi recently spotted Hollywood A-lister Matt Damon on a summer vacation with his beloved wife, and fans of the star are swooning over their romantic snaps.

Damon met his wife 20 years ago. She was a single mother of one, working as a bartender.

The happy couple now raises four daughters together, away from the limelight.

Earlier this week, Hollywood power couple Matt Damon, 52, and Luciana Barroso, 46, were spotted getting cozy and romantic during their family summer vacation in Mykonos, Greece. Paparazzi photographed the racy display of affection between the two, and photos surfaced across all major news outlets.

The couple, now married for 17 years, have been enjoying some relaxation time on the beautiful island for over a week now. Damon showed off his bare chest, choosing to only adorn dark-colored swimming trunks for most of the time.

As the lovebirds enjoyed their fun day out in the sun on the beach, Barroso was seen rocking a fabulous and sultry pink bikini and later in a chic black two-piece, both outfits showing off her stunningly svelte figure.

Photos showcased several intimate moments between Damon and Barroso, from Damon cheekily placing his head between Barroso’s bosom and kissing her along her midsection to the pair sharing tender kisses throughout the day.

The entire day was filled with fun and love in the sun, as the item were also later spotted dancing and laughing together as they were both dressed in white. At one point during the festivities, Damon, who had been grinning like a Cheshire cat all day, was seen lifting Barroso in his arms in a very public display of affection.

The Hollywood couple could not take their eyes off each other or keep their hands to themselves as they enjoyed special moments in a bubble of their own, unphased by onlookers who took notice of them. Their daughters, Alexia Barroso, 24, Isabella Damon, 17, and Stella Damon, 12, also joined them on their lovely summer getaway.

As soon as fans of the star caught wind of the publicized photos, they couldn’t help but view the couple with admiration. Many complimented the pair on how great they looked together and how apparent the love they share is. One wrote:

“Good… that’s the way it should be… passion forever.”

As the swooning continued, many fans commented on how happy they were to see a love story in Hollywood that appears to be lasting. One Instagram user felt strongly about Damon not being afraid to cherish his wife:

“Finally, an actor in a man who actually loves his wife. A good human being I can respect!”

Others took notice of how ordinary the star-studded couple appeared to be. Another fan expressed:

“It’s refreshing to see a happy Hollywood couple. I think it’s partly because they’re regular people who haven’t forgotten their roots.”

How Barroso and Damon’s love story began is truly a testament to the power of fate, with Damon having been at the right place and time when he met the love of his life. While speaking with Ellen DeGeneres during a sit-down interview on her show, Damon shared how he met his wife.

“The Martian” star had been filming a Farrelly brothers movie in 2002. It was originally set to be filmed in Hawaii but it was changed to Miami, where Barroso had been living and working as a bartender at the time.

One night, after filming wrapped for the day, the production crew convinced a hesitant Damon to join them at a bar to hang out, and they ended up at the very bar Barroso was working at. Damon recalled spotting Barroso immediately from across the crowded room, and the rest was history.

Describing his fatherhood, the “Bourne Identity” actor likened the experience to the final scene of “The Grinch Who Stole Christmas,” when the Grinch’s heart grew five times its original size.

Barroso’s account of the couple’s initial encounter was more detailed. She disclosed to Vogue Australia that when Damon had spotted her across the crowded room, he said he had seen a light on her, to which she quipped that because it was a nightclub, there were already lights everywhere.

As the night progressed, Damon found himself being hounded by people asking for autographs and pictures so he went to hide behind Barroso’s bar. While attempting to chat her up, Barroso decided to put him to work, and Damon, who learned some bartending skills from a previous role, was up to the task. Barosso recalled:

“We definitely had a connection right away; it was so easy to talk to each other, we were very comfortable, and by the end of the night, he invited me to go out with his friends. But I was like, ‘I can’t; I have a four-year-old daughter, I’m not going anywhere.’ He said, ‘I love that you’re a mum, and that’s your priority.’ ”

Barroso went on to say that she was never hung up on the fact that Damon was a big movie star and simply fell in love with him for who he was. Their connection was established outside of the glitz and glamour of Hollywood, which Barroso was never interested in, as confirmed by many sources, including producer Jerry Weintraub, who has worked with Damon in the past.

After dating for two years, the couple wed on a Friday morning in 2005. The ceremony was held privately in Manhattan. Alexia, Barroso’s daughter, was seven then and was present for the occasion. Damon’s friend Marc McGovern confirmed that the match was well-suited and that Damon enjoyed becoming a stepfather to Alexia.

Since marrying in 2005, the happy couple welcomed three more girls, Gia, Isabella, and Stella, in addition to Damon’s bonus daughter, Alexia. As reported by Vogue Australia, their parenting style is grounded in teaching their girls to be compassionate and to feel empowered. Being the only man in his home, Damon found himself immersed in a full-scale learning experience:

“I never expected to be surrounded by girls, but it’s great… I’m learning so much, not the least of which is how much smarter girls are. I operated under the assumption that us guys had a chance, but I realized when I was completely wrapped around my 2-year-old’s finger, and she knew it.”

Describing his fatherhood, the “Bourne Identity” actor likened the experience to the final scene of “The Grinch Who Stole Christmas,” when the Grinch’s heart grew five times its original size. It’s as if everything had expanded in a way that was previously unfathomable to him. Damon added:

“I jumped into the deep end with Lucy. I mean, Alexia was already 4. I was an extra dad… Everything is full; it’s just full all the time.”

The actor admitted to having been slightly fearful of baby bodily fluids that typically appear when changing diapers but said the fear disappeared once his kids arrived. As for what his very private family life looks like, Damon gave Parade a bit of an inside scoop into what the average day for him as a dad was like— picking up his kids from school and then heading to the park.

Damon has kept a low profile when it comes to his family life and has managed to keep the spotlight away. He believes this is due to the fact that his marriage and fatherhood do not leave anything for the paparazzi to be desired. It’s free of scandal.

Damon and Barroso’s love continues to remain solid and lasting. Their recent summer vacation has been a hot topic of discussion amongst fans who clearly see the stability and vitality of a true love story in Hollywood through their union.

  • Sally Field found success in Hollywood after appearing in the show “Gidget,” which launched her career.
  • She was criticized for her appearance after deciding to age naturally.
  • Now a grandmother of five, Field lives quietly in a beach house.

Actress Sally Field is best known for playing matriarchal roles and has portrayed light-hearted TV roles, including her stint on the American sitcom, “Gidget,” which aired for only one season between 1965 and 1966.

She once divulged that she had a blast filming the series, where she played a teenager, and although it was short-lived, it opened doors to other roles, which turned her into a force to be reckoned with in Hollywood.

The show did much more for her success as it kept her motivated. Field endured a difficult childhood because of her stepfather. She used the acting opportunity as an escape, leading her to audition for the acting workshop at Columbia Pictures.

The California native would later star in the sitcom, “The Flying Nun,” which ran from 1967 to 1970 for three seasons. She played Sister Bertrille in the series.

Afterward, Field, a newly awarded Screen Actors Guild Lifetime Achievement Award winner, enrolled at Actors Studios from 1973 to 1975 to hone her acting talent and left as a dramatic actress. She later appeared in the 1976 film “Sybil,” which was when she garnered Hollywood’s attention by landing solid roles.

Field’s next role was as a union organizer in the drama film “Norma Rae” in 1979. For her performance, she bagged an Academy Award.

The Hall of Famer’s first breakout role was at the age of eighteen. She graduated from Birmingham High School in the Van Nuys neighborhood, where her love for acting developed.

The two-time Golden Globe Award winner participated in the drama club, which sparked her interest in pursuing an acting career after graduation. However, the renowned star initially had no plans after high school because she never sat down for an SAT test.

It has been several years since she found footing in showbiz and has gone through two divorces. Field was first married to her high school sweetheart, Steven Craig, whom she wed in 1968. The former couple welcomed two sons, Peter and Eli, and later parted ways in 1975 following seven years of marriage.

The Hollywood star then began a love affair with actor Burt Reynolds whom she described as the same as her stepfather. She then remarried film producer Alan Greisman in 1984 and had a son named Samuel with him. But they split in 1994.

Field’s love life and career were at a standstill at that period. A friend revealed, “She wasn’t getting any acting offers that were very substantial, and she pretty much gave up on the dating scene.”

But things eventually turned around for the better as she earned an Oscar nomination for her part as Mary Todd Lincoln in the movie “Lincoln,” later bagging several TV and film roles. Moreover, the pal divulged more about her stance on romance:

“Sally loves her life the way it is. She doesn’t see herself marrying again, and that’s fine.”

According to the insider, the mother of three spends much of her time with her brother Richard and Hollywood friends, including Tom Hanks, and her brood and grandkids.

After becoming famous as a young ingenue, Field chose a down-to-earth path of natural aging. In a March 2016 interview, she addressed her aging process and said she had embraced it:

“I’m an old woman. 70 is old, and that’s OK.”

Although there are some things she doesn’t like about growing old, which include her neck, she has made peace with that. When she was 63 in 2009, she revealed she was proud to have aged naturally without having plastic surgery:

“I see myself on TV, and I say, ‘Oh, I wish that weren’t happening to my neck. And your face is falling down, and your eyes are so puffy.”

But Field would remember that there were some women who she thought were gorgeous when they were young but had gone under the knife and she had a change of heart.

“Now I think, ‘Oh dear, don’t do that!’ And it seems so terribly disrespectful to who they are now,” said the two-time Academy Award winner.

Field admitted she did not want to age but made peace with the fact that there was not much she could do about it. Instead, she sought inspiration from fellow Hollywood leading ladies, including Helen Hayes and Jessica Tandy, who aged gracefully in their later years while still working.

The Tony Award nominee, whose acting career spans six decades, said the women looked stunning in their 60s, 70s, and 80s. She wants to execute specific roles when she becomes an old woman and does not want to look odd when that time comes.

Criticized for Her Looks

Before she turned 60 in 2005, Field was sadly diagnosed with osteoporosis, often referred to as a “silent disease” due to the lack of early symptoms until it causes damage. Of the diagnosis, the veteran star said:

“I always knew I fit the risk profile. I was thin, small-boned, Caucasian, and heading toward age 60. But I was amazed at how quickly a woman could go from being at risk to having full-fledged osteoporosis.”

The disease makes the bones weak to a point where they break easily, including bones in the hip, wrist, and backbone (spine).

Women are reportedly prone to get affected by the condition more than men, mainly due to the hormone changes when they reach menopause which affects bone density.

Oestrogen, the female hormone, is needed for healthy bones, but after menopause, the levels decrease, leading to a rapid decline in bone density.

When speaking about her condition, Field explained she had always ensured she consumed healthy food, participated in exercises, and took calcium. But despite her efforts, she failed to avoid the diagnosis.

Possible symptoms of osteoporosis that could be detected early include loss of height over time, back pain, and a stooped posture of a bone that could easily break.

Treatment for osteoporosis includes exercising, taking medication, mineral supplements, and vitamins. One could ensure they take supplements and exercise often to prevent getting the disease.

Despite her natural aging and health issues, Field was criticized for her appearance. In 2018, social media trolls took to Twitter to comment on her looks. “You’re ugly,” said one user.

Another wrote, “Your butt is going down also,” while a third person expressed: “Words cannot describe how sickening you are lady. You are just pure trash.”

Grandma of Five Lives in a Beach House

Field is now 76 years old and has adult sons and five grandchildren: Colin, Isabel, Ogden, Noah, and Sophie. A friend once divulged that she enjoys having so many grandkids with whom she plays and has fun.

Field became a first-time grandmother when her eldest son Peter and his first wife, Amy Scattergood, welcomed their daughter Isabel in 1998. The former couple had another daughter Sophie in 2021.

The author and novelist were married from 1995 to 2005 and split after ten years of marriage. Peter got married again to Jennifer DeFrancisco in 2008 and welcomed Field’s third grandchild and first grandson, Ogden. However, he and his second wife divorced in 2017 following nine years of marriage.

Field’s middle child Eli and his spouse, Sasha Craig, made her a grandmother for the fourth time when they had their son Noah in 2006, followed by her youngest grandkid, Colin, in 2014.

While Field spends much time with her beloved grandchildren, she still has her sons as her main priority. The “Forrest Gump” star once gushed about her kids:

“The three things I’m most proud of in my life are my sons. They are kind, loving, and productive people. Each with their own list of talents and accomplishments.”

In addition to being a novelist, Field’s firstborn son Peter is a screenwriter who previously worked on box office movie hits including, “The Batman,” “Top Gun: Maverick” the first two installments of “The Hunger Games,” and “The Mother.”

The father of three has authored books such as “Blood Father” and “The Martini.” He has also been recognized for his craft and was nominated twice at the Writers Guild of America and once for the Critics Choice Movie Awards.

Field spoke fondly of her son, saying he is a good father who dotes on his kids. According to her, Peter’s brood will grow up knowing how to show love and be loved.

Field’s second son Eli followed in her acting footsteps and is also a director. The Los Angeles native is known for movies such as “Tucker & Dale Vs. Evil,” “Zombieland,” and “Little Evil.” Eli also has credits of screenwriting under his belt.

Field once revealed that her middle child told her that although she has been a great parent, she failed to discipline him enough. She admitted in a 2008 interview that young Eli was uncontrollable but that witnessing him parent his child has made her realize what kind of parent she was.

The movie star’s youngest son Samuel is also a writer and a director and came out as gay several years ago. Field fully supported her son and stated in a 2012 interview with Oprah Winfrey, “It’s important to have a parent speak about raising a magnificent, proud, intelligent, funny and lovable, sexy gay son.”

According to Field, many parents have become unsettled when they learn about their kids’ sexuality and fail to embrace them for who they are. She urges them to be more open in acceptance.

In her life journey, Field – in addition to her older brother, has a half-sister, penned about her life events in the memoir, “In Pieces,” released on September 18, 2018. In the book, she discusses her childhood home life, famous roles, relationships, and raising her children.

Her family was well aware of her writing an autobiography. Still, she only started sharing manuscripts with them earlier in the year the book got published, and she was uneasy about it.

Samuel shared he was aware that his famous mother had a complex relationship with her stepfather, stuntman Jock Mahoney. Field’s mom, Margaret, married Mahoney in 1952 after parting ways with her dad Richard in 1951. However, she and the actor divorced in 1968.

The “Steel Magnolias” star’s son revealed he also knew she grew up in a household where she could not speak freely. But Samuel saw his mom differently when he grew up. She had already established her successful career and seemed put together because he never saw her being unable to handle anything.

After reading his mother’s book, Samuel saw her in a different light because of what she endured and appreciates her more even now. He stated:

“To see her as someone who grew up confused and made mistakes and went through these traumas, it made me feel more connected to her.”

While doting on her loved ones and ensuring she spends time with them, Field also enjoys being at her home with ocean views. In June 2012, she downsized after selling her 6,000 square feet Malibu house in 2011. She forked out $2.3 million for her new home, which has three bedrooms and four bathrooms. The abode is situated in Los Angeles in the Pacific Palisades neighborhood.

The three-time Emmy Award winner reportedly purchased the property on April 24, 2012, and it is described as having “explosive ocean, canyon, mountain, and city views.”

The estate features a state-of-the-art kitchen, a pantry, and a breakfast bar. The main bedroom boasts walk-in closets, a private balcony, and a spa bathtub.

The house is spacious on the interior with an open living room with a rustic look, dining room, great room, a dramatic stone fireplace, skylights, and pitched beamed ceilings.

The 2,800-square-foot residence, which is white on the exterior, is surrounded by trees and features a lawn, a stone path, a Dutch door entry, and an enchanted front yard.

Actor John Ritter had a son, Jason, who followed in his star-studded footsteps. Jason and his actress wife have a rewarding marriage, and he stood up for her in the sweetest way.

John Ritter had a successful career in Hollywood, and he left a larger-than-life legacy behind to inspire his family. He gained fame for his roles in “Three’s Company,” “Skin Deep,” and the “Problem Child” film series.

He was also a family man who prioritized his loved ones and married actress Nancy Morgan in 1977. The pair had three kids, Jason, Carly, and Tyler.

The couple was married just short of two decades, and despite going their separate ways, John and Morgan were grateful for the beautiful family they created together.

Meet John’s Three Children
John’s kids with Morgan pursued careers in Hollywood, with Tyler Ritter starring in the 2014 sitcom “The McCarthys.” He was also featured on the CW series “Arrow.”

Tyler’s sister, Carly, acts and sings. She appeared in various television series and released a hit album in 2013. Jason Ritter has also carved out an impressive career in Hollywood, making a name for himself in movies and TV shows.

His first taste of fame was as a youngster when he appeared during the opening credits of ” Three’s Company.” The star accumulated more than 100 credits to his name from there on out.

While John starred in “Hero at Large,” his wife Morgan gave birth to Jason in 1980. The actor sweetly asked their designer to create a mini version of his costume for the newborn. The film’s director, Marty Davidson, shared:

“My wife, Sandy, was costume designer on it … [She] made a tiny little Captain Avenger suit — a small version of what John wore in the movie.”

When John appeared on Johnny Carson’s “The Tonight Show,” he showed off the matching costume and gave Sandy an on-air thank you. Davidson revealed: “It was one of the happiest nights of my wife’s life.”

John and Morgan had many happy years as a family, but the pair divorced in 1996. Three years later, the actor wed again to actress Amy Yasbeck.

The “Wings” star shared one child with John, Stella Ritter. Stella transitioned to a man and went by a new name, Noah Lee. The blended family, including the children from John’s first marriage, enjoyed spending time together.

John was a great father, and his family was essential to him. Sadly, the award-winning actor faced severe health issues due to an undetected heart flaw.

While working on a new sitcom, he developed worrying symptoms and passed away in 2003. He was only 54, and his tragic death was unexpected, leaving family and friends devastated.

John’s children continue to honor their father’s legacy. Jason has starred in many significant roles that would have put a smile on his late dad’s face.

Starring in “Parenthood,” “Joan of Arcadia,” and “Raising Dion” are just a few of the impressive notches on the actor’s belt. He continued acting after his dad’s passing, and noticing the uncanny resemblance between John and Jason is unavoidable.

Jason found love with actress Melanie Lynskey, and the couple’s relationship developed quickly. They co-starred in “We’ll Never Have Paris” in 2014 and were engaged by 2017.

They were delighted to announce their daughter’s birth at the end of 2018, and in 2020 they tied the knot. Jason and Lynskey regularly swoon over each other online. In 2021, the actress gushed:

“This is a belated Father’s Day post to thank [Jason] Thank you for being there for us every day, my love. We are so lucky.”

Jason has remained a private individual despite his family’s fame, and his proposal to Lynskey highlights his affinity for keeping things simple.

He popped the question while sitting on the sofa, and Lynskey called the moment “cute.” Throughout their relationship, they remained true to their style of simplicity and tied the knot on the porch of their rental home in Atlanta.

They adored their daughter and called her “perfect,” keeping most of her details private. However, Jason was vocal about one thing—his parenting style.

The father made it his mission to tell his daughter that she was loved. He shared that it was something his dad instilled in him and his siblings. Jason noted:

“[My dad] always made sure we knew we were loved … You can pass all kinds of stuff onto your kids, but the feeling of being loved, unconditionally, is so important.”

Jason also revealed that he played with his dad’s Emmy award when he was a child and accidentally broke off the tip of a wing. He felt guilty, but his father wasn’t too upset by the incident.

Jason isn’t only a great dad to his daughter, but he is also a wonderful husband to his wife. In 2022, he defended Lynskey against online bullies who body-shamed her.

The actress condemned haters who commented on her weight. Lynskey pointed out that people didn’t see the work she was putting in behind the scenes, and she said: “Skinny does not always equal healthy.”

Her husband also added his voice to the debate and called out the online trolls who felt they had the right to share opinions about others, including his spouse. He wrote:

“If anyone has any further unsolicited comments about *anybody* else’s body, they can feel free to write them in permanent ink onto their own foreheads …”

Jason reminded people that Lynskey was stunning in another online post and sang her praises. He called his wife the best person he knew and added: “I am sorry to do this, and she will be embarrassed that I did this.”

“But my GOODNESS, what an absolute beaut my wife is!!! Ok, I’m sorry, but I mean, LOOK at this human being,” the digital love letter continued.

Elinor Donahue is best known for her pivotal role in American TV hit sitcom “Father Knows Best”, but her career didn’t end when the show did, she went on to shine both on screen and off.
