Sarah Jessica Parker played the fashion icon Carrie Bradshaw in the HBO franchise “Sex and the City.” However, the “Footloose” star has always come under fire for her lack of fashion sense in real life.

Parker did not take the criticism lying down. Following the mean remarks, she jumped to defend herself from the haters during her sitdown with Vogue Magazine.

“It almost feels as if people don’t want us to be perfectly OK with where we are, as if they almost enjoy us being pained by who we are today, whether we choose to age naturally and not look perfect, or whether you do something if that makes you feel better.” She said, adding:

“I know what I look like. I have no choice. What am I going to do about it? Stop aging? Disappear?”

That was, however, not the last she’d hear of the degrading comments. In 2018, the actress again faced fire after going to the Met Gala donning an ornate nativity headpiece. People took to social media to make fun of her skin, calling her a senior citizen.

Although she has faced backlash over her fashion choices in the past years, the “Honeymoon in Vegas” actress has stood her ground, focusing on what matters most — her family.

During the 2006 New York annual fashion week, while everyone else was rushing to secure their best gowns and statements for the event, Parker chose to stay home and be with her family. Her son James, then three, had just started school, and she had to drop him there every day.

Today, attending events has become quite the task as Parker is a mother of three. They welcomed their first son James Wilkie Broderick on October 28, 2002, and he is currently a student at Brown University in Rhode Island.

Their secondborns are twins Tabitha Hodge Broderick and Marion Loretta Elwell Broderick, who they had on June 23, 2009, via surrogate.

While Parker’s fans have loved and criticized her equally, her husband, Broderick, remains a constant in her life. The “Ferris Bueller’s Day Off” actor and his wife have been smitten with each other since they first met in the early 1990s.

They tied the knot in a surprise wedding ceremony on May 19, 1997, and have been going strong since. Surprisingly, Parker disclosed that the secret to such a long and happy union is their ability to spend time apart. She said on the Sophia Amoruso’s Girlboss Radio podcast, as Oprah Daily reports:

“I know this sounds nuts, but we have lives that allow us to be away and come back together.”

Their relationship has been everything they dreamed it would be, and Broderick could not stop gushing over how much of an impression Parker made the first time he saw her.

He recalled their first date, saying he clearly remembers her walking down the street towards the movie theatre. “It’s very unique because I wouldn’t remember most people the first time I saw them come down the street. [But] I remember it as clear as day.”

Kevin Bacon and Kyra Sedgwick are one of Hollywood’s longest-married couples. In the over three decades that they have been married, they have raised two beautiful kids who followed their Hollywood footsteps.

Years after the “Footloose” actor and “The Closer” actress were married, they found out they were distant cousins after conducting a DNA test.

Even though they found the test results a little bit unsettling, the bond between Kevin Bacon and Kyra Sedgwick has grown stronger with time.

Kevin Bacon, born July 8, 1958, and Kyra Sedgwick, born August 19, 1965, first crossed paths when he was in a play in the 1970s. At the time, Sedgwick was 12 and had just seen the matinee with her brother.

In 1987, they met again when they worked on the PBS film “Lemon Sky.” At that point, Sedgwick strongly believed Bacon wasn’t her type.

She saw him as aloof and cocky when he jumped into the van they were getting picked up in after his labrador. Sedgwick also thought Bacon thought of himself as being cool.

She recalled in an interview that as she watched his backside while he was walking away, she was surprised some girls liked that. Little did Sedgwick know that would be one of her favorite parts of Bacon’s anatomy.

While Sedgwick thought Bacon was aloof, he thought she was aloof but beautiful. He was immediately in love with her while she was immediately put off by him.

The “Labor Pains” actress later realized Bacon was a sweet guy, and the couple married on September 4, 1988. At the time, she was 23, and Bacon was 30.

Sedgwick never believed she would get married so early. She had started working professionally at 16 and wanted to be a great actor, and settling down with a child at 23 was not part of her goals.

In their early years, Bacon described himself as a slob who lived in a pigsty when he first left home. He also described his first apartment as being a roach-filled disaster. However, when they first got together, Sedgwick was messier than Bacon.

Together, they have been able to keep the chaos out of their home as they celebrate their little wins and moments together, just like their first ‘selfie.’

The couple looked adorable and in love. In the caption, Bacon reminded the younger ones that cameras and phones were two different things in the old days!

A few months into their relationship, Bacon proposed to Sedgwick during the Christmas holidays. He put the ring he bought in the toe of the stocking, popped the question, and she said, “yes.”

Decades after they had gotten married, the couple revealed that their marriage hasn’t always been rainbows and sunshine as they once had what they call their biggest fight.

Sedgwick had wanted to move back to Manhattan while Bacon wanted to stay in Connecticut. The fight lasted a long time, but the couple has learned not to ‘hit below the belt.’

They both are not built that way and have realized over time that they both don’t want to fight. They have learned to talk about things and decide together what’s best for them.

And sometimes, what’s best for them might mean one person making sacrifices that benefit the family. They know when it’s their turn to step up.

As they started having kids, Sedgwick knew she had to be there for her kids and decided to step back from her career. She worked a lot less and stayed in New York because they wanted to raise the kids in New York, even though more work was in Los Angeles.

Years ago, the couple agreed to participate in PBS’s “Finding Your Roots,” a television show investigating family ancestry, and Bacon was shocked at the discoveries made.

Bacon’s family was traced back to Bristol, and he learned that King Edward I, the “Hammer of the Scots” who fought William Wallace, was his 22nd great-grandfather.

It was also revealed that Bacon is the 13th cousin twice removed with Brad Pitt. He and President Obama, who share a common ancestor named Anthony Woolhouse, are 12th cousins, three times removed.

That was not all, as Sedgwick was also introduced to her 9th cousin once removed. This cousin happened to be her husband. Sedgwick exclaimed that ‘she knew it,’ but Bacon wasn’t so thrilled.

Even though Bacon joked that he wasn’t getting enough respect based on the people he’s connected to, he didn’t see being cousins with his wife as a form of flattery. He said,

“I kind of felt like it was a joke at my expense, you know.”

Sedgwick admitted that the revelation was “a little unsettling,” but she was fine with it as long as they are not first cousins.

With their marriage being one of the longest in Hollywood, Sedgwick always has people asking her the key to her successful and long marriage.

Although she jokes that the secret to a successful marriage lies in not taking marriage advice from celebrities, she believes that she and Bacon got lucky.

However, she has one piece of advice, and her advice was that people need to have a piece of wholeness within themselves before they can let somebody love them the way they need to be loved.

On their wedding anniversary in 2021, Bacon took to his Instagram to share a picture of him dancing with his wife. In the caption, he cheered to dancing through life with Sedgwick as he reminded her that she’s the reason.

Bacon and Sedgwick are proud to have two independent children. Travis, their first son, was born on June 23, 1989, studied audio engineering, and made his acting debut in 2005 in “Loverboy.”

With his interest in music, he became a member of the metal band White Widows Pact until 2015 before joining the metal band Black Anvil in 2016 as a guitarist.

Travis works as a solo musician, produced songs for his parents’ movie “Story of a Girl” in 2017, and has composed music for other movies while owning a recording company in New York.

Their daughter, Sosie, who loves to sing, was born on March 15, 1992, studied acting and musical theater and made her acting debut in 2005’s “Loverboy” and has since appeared in tons of films and TV shows.

On being a mother, Sedgwick revealed that she’s not an overbearing mother like she was in her role in “Call Your Mother.” She tried not to meddle and wait for her children to ask her opinion.

Thousands of Dogstar fans have been excited to see the Matrix actor shred the bass, which is not something you’re bound to see every day!

While the band were in Houston, they obviously were able to meet many of their fans. But none of them would have had the same magical experience as nine-year-old Elijah, whose biggest dream was to meet Reeves… And meet him he did!

Elijah, his brother Caleb, and his grandmother Annette put a plan in place to meet Reeves, something that Annette was confident doing as she’d met well-known figures over 100 times.

Dogstar had been at the House of Blues, so Elijah and his family waited outside for several hours until Reeves emerged. Elijah had a football with him, asked Reeves if he would play ball, and sure enough the kind actor agreed.

Being so famous and having so many adoring fans would inflate anyone’s ego, but Reeves has never let his fame get the better of him. In fact, he treats acting like basically any other job – he puts in his best effort and recognizes that his success is ultimately down to having such loving fans.

Elijah’s grandmother Annette spoke about the special experience, saying it was something her grandson would “always remember”, with Elijah adding: “I’m keeping the football forever and ever”.

What’s more, Reeves apparently told the young fan that he had a nice throw – how’s that for a celebrity encounter!

And on May 12, his son Liam, now 28, and his partner Nicole Ann announced the birth of their son, Louie, making him a grandfather for the second time in as many days.

The proud new dad posted a photo album to Instagram and greeted his son’s international audience with, “Welcome lad, you American, British, Croatian, Kiwi.”

Rod’s son Liam is the product of his union with Rachel Hunter (1990-2006).

Hunter’s grandma said, “Welcome, you beautiful angel.” Penny Lancaster, Rod’s present wife, also chimed in, saying, “Congratulations, that’s the look of love. Can’t wait for a hug.”

It appears that the Stewart family of Rod Stewart is expanding.

Liam Artukovich, Rod’s son, and Nicole Artukovich, his girlfriend and the mother of his son Louie, recently announced their engagement.

Is there going to be a Mamma Mia 3? “I think one day there will be another film, because there’s meant to be a trilogy,” says Judy Craymer.

Get those suitcases packed ASAP because it looks like we might be heading back to the magical island of Kalokairi for one last ABBA singalong. Mamma Mia 3? Yes. Really. Here we go again, again.

Talk of another Mamma Mia movie has been on the cards ever since the second film was released. Audiences love it, the cast love filming it… It’s pretty much a win-win situation.

Thankfully, both co-creator and producer Judy Craymer, and director of Mamma Mia: Here We Go Again Ol Parker have now confirmed that there are plans for Mamma Mia 3 to happen.

The latest update? It looks like Meryl Streep might actually return as our dearly departed Donna Sheridan in a bigger capacity.

Speaking to Screen Rant in December 2022, Parker appeared to imply that Craymer’s plans are underway and a third movie is being planned as we speak.

“Judy Craymer, the genius producer behind the musical and the first two films, always plans for it to be a trilogy,” Parker said. “That’s all I can say. The first one made an enormous amount of money, and I think we made a fair amount too. I know that there is a hunger for a third, and I know that she has a plan. Wouldn’t it be lovely?”

In another interview with Deadline, Craymer has teased that development on a third film is in the very early stages and it looks like it might happen… with Meryl Streep back as Donna?!

“I don’t want to over-egg it, but I know there’s a trilogy there,” she said. “There is a story there, and I do think Meryl should come back – and if the script is right, she would, I think, because she really loved playing Donna.”

Now, Meryl has now confirmed that she’d be more than willing to return for a third film. “I’m up for anything,” Meryl told Vogue. “I’ll have to schedule a knee scoping before we film, but if there’s an idea that excites me, I’m totally there.”

“I told Judy if she could figure out a way to reincarnate Donna, I’m into that. Or it could be like in one of those soap operas where Donna comes back and reveals it was really her twin sister that died.”

Since the release of Mamma Mia 2, ABBA have also reunited and released an entire album of new songs so there’s plenty of new material – as well as some other tracks from their legendary discography that have yet to appear in the movies – to choose from, too.

That’s good news for Amanda Seyfried who previously told Collider that she was worried there wouldn’t be enough new songs for Mamma Mia 3.

In even better news: Christine Baranski has already said that she’d be up for returning as Tanya – mostly because she just absolutely loves shooting those films with the rest of the cast.

“If we could go back and have the same amount of good fun and be on a Greek island together filming and dining together at night at some wonderful trattoria or taverna, I don’t think anybody would give you an argument,” she told EW.

She also teased what Tanya might be up to in the third instalment: “Tanya married. Although by now, she may be divorced. She may have gotten bored with this man.”

As we all know, Mamma Mia: Here We Go Again saw flashbacks of Donna Sheridan’s life after it was revealed that she had died. Lily James stepped into those famous dungarees to play a young Donna, with Meryl Streep returning as Ghost Donna toward the end of the film.

So, with Donna still dead, what will happen next? Craymer didn’t offer any insight into the storyline of the potential third film, but given that literally anything can happen on that mysterious Greek island… the plot is anyone’s guess.

Will we see flashbacks from a young Ruby Sheridan’s life? Sophie dumping Sky and raising her son by herself? Two hours of Harry singing ABBA ballads and living his best life in the sun with his boyfriend? A one woman show where all the roles are played by Cher? Mamma Mia: Tokyo Drift?!

It sounds like Mamma Mia 3 is still quite a few years away from becoming a reality but as long as Christine Baranski and Julie Walters are back as Tanya and Rosie alongside Meryl as Donna, we’ll take anything.

Despite the backlash regarding the alleged plastic surgery she had done on her face, Bullock denied the accusations. The actress was confident in her appearance, perhaps because she had the love and support of the late Bryan Randall.

Bullock and Randall always maintained privacy in their relationship as they quietly raised their kids. However, occasionally, they were spotted in public getting cozy and displaying some major public displays of affection.

The pair met after Randall, a photographer, was hired to capture Bullock’s son Louis’ birthday party. They hit it off, started dating a few months later, and were together until Randall’s death. Often they were seen in public acting loving, such as when they were photographed strolling through Los Angeles arm in arm while smiling and laughing.

In November 2015, they were spotted having a casual coffee date at the Andante Cafe in Los Angeles, with Bullock looking relaxed in a cream sweater and wide-leg capris paired with black boots. An onlooker told People:

“They looked so relaxed and happy to be together.”

Later that same month, the two held hands as they strolled through New York. The pair seemed to enjoy each other’s company, and after they went out with friends in May 2018, an onlooker reported that they looked happier than ever.

And when the lovebirds visited Disneyland with the actress’s children Louis and Laila for a special family day, an eyewitness says they looked like a very happy family.

In 2018, Randall proved to be the true gentleman when he protected his beau from the probing paparazzi cameras as they left the Roku Sushi restaurant in Hollywood. He walked before her, shielding her from the cameras as they walked to the valet stand.

And when the paparazzi kept insisting on filming them — they were in the company of Randall’s parents — and asking questions, Randall hugged Bullock affectionately to comfort her as the four laughed at the bizarre situation.

Fans in the comment section praised Randall for blocking the cameras, referring to him as a true gentleman, while another shared how much they admired Randall’s patience. In June 2018, Randall was again spotted helping Bullock out of the car. In the photo captured in New York City, he held onto her hand gently as he leaned in towards her.

Pictures are worth a thousand words, they say. When a photo of Bullock and Randall kissing in West Hollywood hit the public, it spoke to the masses, confirming what everybody already knew — the pair were still in love, and their relationship was rock solid.

And when the actress and her beau went out on a group date at the ROCU sunset in West Hollywood, California, a source told people that Randall was a complete gentleman. He did everything right, from holding the door for her to keeping her close and engaged all night. And the actress appreciated her man’s efforts as she laughed and smiled the entire night.

Bullock relished the attention her beau gave her. And it is easy to see why. She disclosed that she always felt like an outsider during her days in school. She hated her childhood because she was always on the receiving side of criticism from her peers.

The “The Heat” actress says she hated her childhood as she did not feel accepted by those around her. She always felt noticeably different and awkward. “I wore the wrong clothes, and I was constantly being picked on,” she says. But when she came home upset and crying, her mother often wondered why anyone would do that to her.

However, despite facing criticism over her looks from an early age, then later during the 2018 Oscars, where fans say she seemed to have gotten face fillers, Bullock says she has never had any cheek fillers or plastic surgery done.

At the time, fans tweeted about the possibility of the actress having gotten fillers, rumors the actress later addressed, noting that she had been dealing with allergies and was not well during the event. However, despite being under the weather, she still decided to attend the Oscars. She says fans may have mistaken her puffy face for fillers and addressed how much the fans’ comments affected her.

She revealed that she was immensely affected by the comments, seeing as she did not always feel confident dressing up and stepping on the red carpet. She was not one of those celebrities that knew how to work the red carpet and did the same pose every time. She added: “I try not to dread that kind of stuff, but I do get incensed and think, ‘How can they write this?’”

The self-declared junk food junkie says that looking good and fit is tasking. And whenever people ask how she has always stayed so fit, she says it’s because she is paid to look good on film. However, the actress also confessed that being a junk food lover and simultaneously trying to keep fit is a vicious cycle.

After gracing the silver screens for years since she came into the limelight, the “Ocean’s 8” actress is taking a break from acting. Speaking to ET, Bullock said she was stepping back from acting and did not know how long she would be away. However, she needed to be in the place that made her the happiest, and that was home with her children and family. She said:

“I take my job very seriously when I’m at work, and I just want to be 24/7 with my babies and family.”

The “Speed” actress also likely spent time with her beau, who was the best dad for her kids and the perfect partner. Having been in the industry for decades, Bullock understands only too well the challenges women face because of their appearance and age and strives to raise her son as a respectful person.

She says she is shocked and embarrassed at the atrocities women face in the industry and will do whatever it takes to bring up a son who values and appreciates women.

Luckily, her son had a wonderful man he could look up to. Randall was an incredible partner to Bullock over the years and was an excellent example of how a man should treat women. Besides being a gentleman in all aspects of the term, Randall was also a fantastic co-parent.

And for that, Bullock is incredibly grateful for her partner. Speaking on Red Table Talk with Jada Pinkett Smith, she shared that in Randall, who she also referred to as a saint, she found the love of her life.

They explained that Bullock and her beau were also open to having more children, but being new parents was not at the top of the list.

Ford made most of his money from the “Star Wars” and “Indiana Jones” franchises. His roles were so liked that he was used on some of their merchandise, which added to his wealth.

Living on a Farm as a Millionaire

Ford has bought a few properties and sold some too. His childhood home in Chicago was a modest three-bedroom house with 1.5 bathrooms. The home built in 1922 had gone through extensive renovation though its exterior was left in its original state. It was put on the market in 2022 for $749,000.

Ford has a ranch in Wyoming, which is 800 acres big. He lives there with his third wife, ​​Calista Flockhart, but the farm has been the actor’s home for over 35 years.

The “Star Wars” legend treats his Wyoming ranch as an escape and a personal sanctuary. He said he wakes up and walks through his endless land whenever he’s there.

In 2012, Ford sold his home in Brentwood, California, where he lived for 30 years. The house was on the market for a whopping $8,295,000.

Ford originally bought a 1,164-square-foot home in 1983 for $1 million. It had four bedrooms, a poolside, a detached bedroom guest suite, and two more additional guest suits, which Ford’s staff could have used.

After selling that house, Ford and Flockhart bought another house in Brentwood for $12.65 million. The property has been their main residence in Los Angeles ever since.

Ford’s properties also include a penthouse in New York which he bought in 2001 for $5.3 million. He put the house on the market for $16 million but removed it too. The penthouse is 5.500 square feet with four bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms.

It is equipped with a one-of-a-kind kitchen, gym, office, and library. Not to forget the impressive 2,300-square-foot private roof terrace with views of Manhattan and the Hudson River.

In 2020, the actor opened up about his daily routine on his Wyoming ranch, revealing he attends to his chores around the farm, and if nothing urgent needs to be done, he flies his plane or walks in the woods.

He also rides his mountain bike or does some woodwork, but there’s never a dull day for Ford on the ranch; in fact, there’s rarely a day when he has nothing on his to-do list.

Ford always finds himself doing house maintenance, working in his workshop, or helping some guys fix more significant house problems, like the roof. Other than that, he loves spending quality time with his wife. He and Flockhart have been married for almost 13 years, but they were together seven or eight years before walking down the aisle.

Ford is also a father of five who balances his time between Los Angeles and Wyoming, so he has a lot on his hands. But there’s no stopping him, as he has several movies in the works.

In addition to his two sons with Marquart, Ford has two more children, Malcolm and Georgia, with his second wife, Melissa Mathison. He became a father of five when he married Flockhart, with whom he shared an adopted son, Liam.

Regarding parenting, Ford said the experience brought a lot of lessons, but he admitted that raising babies was not an easy job since he was only 25 when he had his first son.

But now Ford believes he has become a better parent. Most of his children are adults in their 20s and 30s, so Ford admitted that having a nine-year-old boy at his age was a significant transition.

Nonetheless, the experience has been equally joyful. He revealed that he met Flockhart when Liam was about six or seven months; therefore, they built a strong connection from the early stages of his life.

Ford and his wife have been married for over a decade, and when they celebrated their 10th wedding anniversary, the actor said he found the secret to a long-lasting marriage.

He joked that the trick to marriage is to nod and agree with everything his wife says with a smile. He also revealed that he’s never been one for dry humor, so he does not know where the jokes come from. However, Ford enjoys his funny side.

What Ford enjoys the most is the quality of his private life. The actor is not a typical celebrity with fancy cars; he reportedly drives a Prius.

He loves to take his dog Kita to the local park. Luckily, he never has anyone bother him. His friendships are also under the radar with people not in the industry.

The reason Ford had kept out of the public eye was not only for his privacy but for his job. He explained that he was secure in his career, but one thing he valued was respect. The actor explained:

“I am not generally out looking to be admired. I want to be good at what I do, and I want to learn from other people how to get good, be good, stay good.”
