Jay Leno, aged 73, has taken a significant step by filing to become the conservator over his wife’s estate.

The court documents reveal that Leno’s wife, Mavis Leno, aged 77, is afflicted by dementia, a condition that has progressively impacted her ability to manage her affairs.

In the filing dated January 26 in Los Angeles, Leno expressed his belief that Mavis, if able, would have completed her estate plan independently.

However, her diminishing capacity due to dementia necessitates external intervention to ensure her financial well-being.

The documents highlight Mavis’ declining cognitive abilities over the past several years, rendering her incapable of effectively managing her estate. While the specific type of dementia is not specified, medical professionals have noted its adverse effects on Mavis’ memory, comprehension, and processing, as well as delusional ideation.

Throughout their forty-three-year marriage, Leno has been responsible for handling the couple’s finances—a role he intends to continue until his passing. The proposed estate plan aims to provide for Mavis and her brother, who is her sole living heir besides Leno.

Despite her condition, Mavis is reportedly unwilling but not contesting the establishment of a conservatorship. The hearing, scheduled for April 9, offers an opportunity for legal proceedings, though Mavis’s attendance is optional.

Caring for a loved one with dementia presents myriad challenges, requiring patience, understanding, and support. As Leno navigates this difficult journey, he joins countless others in facing the complexities of dementia care with compassion and resilience.

Bo Derek has mesmerized audiences since her initial appearance on the silver screen.

The actress harbored a strong desire to pursue acting from an early age. At just 16 years old, she landed her debut film role, owing to her mother’s association with Swedish-American actress Ann-Margret.

Bo encountered her future spouse, actor, and director John Derek while working on this movie. Her performance in “10” catapulted her to fame, and she continues to dazzle audiences with her timeless beauty.

John and Bo’s relationship raised eyebrows due to their significant age difference. For instance, John, in his fifties, divorced his wife, actress Linda, to be with Bo, who was just seventeen years old at the time.

The notable age gap presented challenges, yet they remained committed to their relationship. Bo Derek, now 66, has expressed remorse for causing distress to John and Linda Evans’ marriage even after all these years.

“From Aviation to Abode: Woman Transforms Boeing 727 into Luxurious Home”

In recent years, unconventional building materials like buses, small houses, and shipping containers have gained popularity as unique housing options. These alternatives offer comfort, affordability, and customization possibilities. However, long before these trends emerged, Jo Ann Ussery embarked on her extraordinary housing project.

After her home in Benoit, Mississippi was destroyed in 1993, Ussery, a widow with two children and limited finances, sought a solution. Initially considering a trailer, she found it insufficient for her family’s needs. That’s when her brother-in-law, an air traffic controller, suggested living in an airplane.

Intrigued by the idea, Ussery explored a decommissioned Boeing 727, available for just $2,000, including shipping. She affectionately named her new home “Little Trump,” inspired by Donald Trump’s private Boeing 727. With less than $30,000 invested in renovations, she embarked on an extensive transformation.

Positioning the plane over a lake on her property, Ussery commenced remodeling the 1,500-square-foot interior. She upgraded insulation, laid new flooring, and preserved the original airplane lavatory and overhead bins for efficient use of space. The plane’s 138-foot length and 76 windows provided ample room and natural light.

Ussery, working independently, completed major renovations before adding finer touches and comforts. The revamped interior boasted three bedrooms, a living area, kitchen, laundry room, oven, phone, and washer-dryer. Notably, she transformed the cockpit into a luxurious master bathroom with a soaking tub, offering a serene view over the lake.

Living in her converted jet from 1995 to 1999, Ussery eventually opened it to the public as a museum. Tragically, during transport, the aircraft fell off its carriage and was destroyed. However, Ussery’s remarkable project lives on through breathtaking snapshots, showcasing her ingenuity and dedication to creating a truly unique home.

Following the ups and downs of past relationships, Valerie Bertinelli has confirmed that she’s found love anew, taking to Instagram with a heartfelt post that leaves little doubt she’s off the market. At 63, Valerie, who divorced her ex-husband Tom Vitale two years ago and lost her first husband, Eddie Van Halen, four years prior, made her relationship Instagram official last Friday.

Captioning a selfie with lyrics from Taylor Swift’s song “So High School,” which is believed to be about her current beau Travis Kelce, Bertinelli wrote, ” I’ll drink what you think and I’m high from smokin’ your jokes all damn night .”

According to Entertainment Tonight, Valerie’s new partner is writer Mike Goodnough, known for his popular blog under the pseudonym the Hoarse Whisperer. Earlier this month, Bertinelli stirred up speculation when she revealed to USA TODAY, “I’ve met someone. And I’m incredibly grateful for him. It’s unlike any relationship that I’ve ever experienced with a man. I don’t want to say too much, but I feel incredibly blessed and lucky to have met him.

I was going to die with my six cats and my dog and be incredibly happy doing it.” Confirming the rumors, Goodnough addressed his relationship with Bertinelli in an essay titled “Rumors, Rumors, Rumors…” on his Substack this week. He humorously recounted asking “Ms. Bertinelli” in a “reporterly voice” about the rumor of them dating, to which she allegedly responded, “It’s true. I totally am. You’re my boyfriend.”

In her newly released cookbook, “Indulge,” Bertinelli candidly discussed her marriage to Eddie Van Halen. “Though we got divorced, Ed and I never stopped loving each other,” she wrote, reflecting on their relationship. “Who knows, if not for cancer, we might have had a second wind,” she added, acknowledging it as wishful thinking. Regarding Goodnough, Valerie revealed that she began following him on social media in 2016 or 2017, with him reciprocating the follow in 2018.

Their communication seemingly started after Valerie’s divorce from Tom Vitale in 2022. Describing Goodnough as “a really super funny, incredibly talented writer,” Valerie expressed her admiration for him.Speaking to PEOPLE Magazine, Bertinelli shared, “I’m in love. It’s a seesaw of emotions because I was adamant I was never falling in love again.” Well, we’re thrilled to see Valerie embracing love once more!

In a decision that has rocked the sports world, the National Governing Body (NGB) has chosen to invalidate Lia Thomas’ accomplishments, stripping her wins, titles, and records of their recognition.

This unprecedented move has sparked intense debate and raised questions about fairness, inclusion, and the integrity of competition. Lia Thomas, a transgender swimmer, made headlines with her remarkable performances in collegiate swimming, breaking records and securing victories. However, her success has been met with controversy, particularly regarding her eligibility to compete in women’s swimming events. Critics argue that Thomas, who underwent hormone therapy as part of her transition, possesses physical advantages that give her an unfair advantage over her competitors.
They contend that allowing her to compete against cisgender women undermines the principles of fair play and creates an uneven playing field. Supporters of Thomas, on the other hand, emphasize the importance of inclusivity and affirming the rights of transgender athletes to participate in sports according to their gender identity. They argue that disqualifying her accomplishments sends a harmful message of exclusion and discrimination.
The NGB’s decision to nullify Thomas’ wins, titles, and records represents a significant setback not only for her but also for the transgender community at large. It raises concerns about the treatment of transgender athletes in sports and underscores the need for clearer guidelines and policies to ensure fairness and equity for all competitors.
As the debate rages on, one thing remains clear: the issue of transgender participation in sports is complex and multifaceted, touching on issues of identity, equality, and the nature of athletic competition itself. Finding a resolution that balances the rights and interests of all stakeholders will require careful consideration and dialogue moving forward.

Ludovica’s mother was with her and said: ‘Initially I thought we had been caught up in a shoot-out.

There was a huge bang and then out of the corner of my eye I saw something hit the pavement After a second or so I realised it was a dog and it had hit my daughter, the dog just missed me because I was a few paces ahead.

I then heard people screaming and I looked at my daughter and she was covered in blood.’

Ann-Margret’s wedding to Roger Smith draws nearer, according to current reports. Roger’s divorce from his first wife, actress Victoria Shaw, mother of his children, is final. Roger and Ann-Margret have been together constantly.

They have given conflicting stories to the press. Whey then, no wedding yet?
Basically, they have wanted to be sure, very sure, that this feeling they have for one another was one they could count on for keeps, forevermore, til Death did them part. Ann-Margret and Roger have gone about this business of love like two mature adults. They put their mutual feeling through every conceivable test; they tried “apart-ness” and together-ness”; they studied each other’s temperaments. Above all, they weathered – and successfully – the constant pryings of the press into the course of their romance.
Of course, now and then, Ann-Margret gets angry and refuses to see some editor or reporter whom she felt had made unpleasant or – in her view – unwarranted insinuations. She and Roger constantly asked the press to “leave us alone; let us work out our problems in our own way.”
They are, in their way, almost too cautious. They look for problems, internal and external, behind every bush.
Now, as her wedding date nears, Ann-Margret kneels in fervent supplication and prays, in all the sincerity of her storm-tossed young heart, “Please God be kind to me…”
Will all the careful preparation, the patient waiting, the providing for all contingencies, the meticulous plans pay off, she wonders? Her shrewd, logical Scandlnavian mind, nurtured by the fervent Lutheran faith of her forebears, turns over all the ifs and buts, analyzes all the question marks.
As the day draws nearer and nearer when she will be Mrs. Roger Smith, to have and to hold, for richer for poorer, in sickness and in health, from this day forward; does she wonder if all the hatches have been battened down, if her marital journey has been rendered as safe and secure as she and Roger can make it?
What are the things she worries about?
To begin; with, there is the matter of what the press has done to her romance. Whenever she and Roger took an innocent side trip, elopement rumors ran rampant. When they checked in at motels, while sight-seeing or on a pleasure jaunt, curious reporters spied on them, the California version of the notorious Italian “papararazzi” tried to get candid shots. Their conduct was always examplary and decorous; they took separate rooms in different areas of the motels; said good night and good morning.
This pressattitude and its sly hints, was shocking to Ann-Margret, who may be a sex symbol to millions of American men, but who actually considers the on-screen sex-boat business to be just that – strictly business. Once those cameras stop whirling, unglamorous and “dull” as some people may find it, Ann-Margret reverts to her real-Iife self: an honest, clean-minded, sensible, shrewd Scandinavian girl who loves, honors and supports her parents, tries to conduct all, phases of her life with common sense, dignity and decorum, and believes love is a sacred and beautiful thing and should be sanctified, in its fullness, by the clergy and blessed with home and family ties Roger’s divorce was another problem.
Ann-Margret did not like to think of the home Roger had, had to break up. She did not like to wonder if Victoria Shaw was lonely and hurt, or whether the chlldren missed him. Though she had come along after the Smiths had parted, and was in no way to blame for the difficu1ties inherent in Roger’s first marriage, she couldn’t help but feel like an intruder.
It has taken her a long time to get over this feelIng.  She knows Roger, (and most understandably) has been cautious about entering into a second marriage. She knows he hates failures; she knows two strike outs in a row would wound his morale, and his self-image. She wanted to be sure as he himself came to be in time, concernin:g the permanency, the depth of the union they contemplated. Now, friends say, both are at last certain.
Then, too, mindful of the two-careers-in-one family bugaboo, Ann-Margret wanted to be positive that Roger’s career was again in high gear. When they first began going together, he was rapidly slipping into a “has-been” category, the days of his top TV-series fame having slipped into the past. Now, with success on the stage, and more recent exposure in TV shows like Mr. Roberts, Roger has regained much pf the lost ground and no longer has to worry about being labelled, “Mr. Ann-Margret.” Mindful of Roger’s masculine pride, Ann-Margret wanted, above all else, to wait for this deve{opment.
Roger did, too. He wants iO be the breadwinner, the staff to lean on, in his family, as he was during his marriage to Victoria Shaw – and Ann-Margret was the first to feel that he deserves to indulge this male right in his second marriage, too.
Would Ann-Margret retire if she felt she would best serve her function as wife and mother? Would she do what Joanne Woodward did for Paul Newman?… sacrifice her career to her husband’s, put all her energies into building him up, satisfying her own creative urges and energies as a wife and mother?
Or is she too mercurial, quicksilverish, intense and energetic to settle for a part-time acting career, like Joanne Woodward did, or abandon her career entirety?
Remember, though, that Ann-Margret was born in Sweden, and for all her forceful personality, flamboyant sexiness (on screen) and fantastic energy, she tends more toward the European than American concept of marriage, its duties, obligations and privileges.
If Roger Smith’s career really gets Into high gear, if he asks her to retire, chances are she loves him enough to do just that.
What would her studio say? What would the public think? Anyone who reasons at all rationally would wish her luck, would cheer her on, if domesticity were to be her choice.
There are other satisfactions than in stardom. Ann-Margret has had all the glamor and glitter for five years now.
Maybe she will see it for the tinselly thing it essentially is. Maybe the love of one fine man – her man – will become her be-all and end-all.
And maybe that is what she secretly prays for when she kneels by her bed these nights and whispers, “Please, God, be kind to me…”

Country singer Shania Twain has revealed that she was sexually and physically abused by her stepfather as a child.

In an interview with The Sunday Times, Twain said she taught herself to fight back and protect herself and her mother, but the experience left her feeling angry and ashamed. Twain said she also tried to hide her femininity to avoid attracting attention from her stepfather.

She turned to songwriting to help her process her emotions and cope with the “unpleasant stuff” outside her home that made her “ashamed” to be a woman.

Twain’s mother and stepfather died in a car accident when she was 22, leaving her to raise her younger siblings. She began singing at a resort hotel to support her family, but struggled with feeling objectified. She eventually learned how to feel safe performing as a woman, and her career took off with the release of her hit albums, including Come On Over.

Twain said she has now healed from the wounds of her childhood abuse and is more confident and unapologetic about her womanhood. She hopes her story will inspire young women to also embrace their confidence and authenticity. “By the time I had my record contracts I was the kind of woman that… when I walked in the room, it’s like, don’t even get any closer.

It was clear in my body language. And I think maybe what young girls can learn, too, is to exude that confidence,” she said.

In the interview, Twain also discussed the release of her new album, The Queen of Me, which is due out in February 2023. She said the album explores themes of empowerment and self-acceptance, and reflects her journey of healing and growth. She hopes it will inspire others to embrace their own individuality and authenticity.

Lacey Chabert, known for her roles in Mean Girls and Party of Five, has transitioned from the height of her popularity to a different path in her career.

While her Mean Girls co-stars, such as Rachel McAdams, Amanda Seyfried, and Lindsay Lohan, continued to thrive in Hollywood, Chabert found her calling elsewhere.

In September 2016, Chabert welcomed her first child, Julia Mimi Bella, and embraced motherhood wholeheartedly. She spoke openly about the challenges of balancing work and family during press tours for her Hallmark films.

Chabert’s association with Mean Girls, particularly her portrayal of Gretchen Wieners, remains prominent in her career identity. Despite this, she has expressed no qualms about the association and even expressed interest in a potential sequel.

In recent years, Chabert has found success in Hallmark Channel productions, starring in over 20 films for the network. While these films may not offer the same recognition as blockbuster hits, Chabert values the heartwarming content they provide, particularly the holiday-themed movies she loves.

Chabert’s strong Christian faith has been a part of her life and work, including her role in the film Christian Mingle. However, some speculate that her public declaration of faith may have affected her success in Hollywood.

Financially, Chabert’s films outside of Mean Girls have not achieved the same level of success. Despite this, she has found fulfillment in her work and remains grounded, maintaining ties to her small-town roots and family values.

In addition to her acting career, Chabert has taken on behind-the-scenes roles, serving as an executive producer for Hallmark Channel productions. She sees storytelling as her passion and hopes to explore different aspects of the entertainment industry in the future.

Despite operating outside the mainstream spotlight, Chabert has carved out a successful path for herself, embracing motherhood, faith, and new opportunities in the entertainment industry.

Country music legend Willie Nelson recently shared a concerning health incident from his tour with the Nelson Family band. At 90 years old, Nelson continues to tour the United States, demonstrating his enduring dedication to his musical career.

During a tour last year, Nelson faced a difficult decision when a member of his band tested positive for COVID-19, prompting the cancellation of their headlining gig at Jazz Fest. Surprisingly, it was later revealed that Nelson himself had contracted the virus.

Awakening in the middle of the night on his tour bus struggling to breathe, Nelson confronted a frightening ordeal. His concerns were confirmed through a rapid PCR test – he had indeed contracted COVID-19. Given his age, the situation was grave due to his vulnerability to the virus.

To aid in his recovery, Nelson’s wife, Annie, shared the measures they took. “I had a nebulizer on the bus. I started everything I could at that point, including Paxlovid. He had the monoclonal antibodies. He had steroids,” she revealed. They transformed their home in Spicewood, Texas, into a makeshift hospital, assembling a medical unit to monitor his recovery.

Recalling the stressful experience, Annie admitted to moments of uncertainty, saying, “There were a couple of times when I wasn’t sure he was going to make it.” The road to recovery was challenging, but after six days, Nelson found the strength to return to the stage. Just two weeks later, he resumed his touring schedule with shows in New Braunfels, Texas.

Despite the harrowing ordeal, Nelson maintained his trademark wit, acknowledging, “COVID ain’t nothing to laugh at, that’s for sure.”

Following the COVID scare, Willie Nelson and his Family Band pressed on with their tour, participating in the Farm Aid 2022 Music Festival in Raleigh, North Carolina, in September. The festival boasted a stellar lineup, including John Mellencamp, Margo Price, Chris Stapleton, and Sheryl Crow, among others.
