Actress Jennifer Garner is a national treasure. When she is not acting, the actress lives a calm life filled with thoughtful little moments. Recently, the actress opened up about her plans for her birthday.

On April 17, the actress will turn 51 years old. And she already has plans on what she will be doing on that day. Keep reading to learn more about what Garner plans on doing for her big birthday!

As always, Jennifer Garner has won thousands of people over with her simplicity. The actress is aboout to turn 51 years old in a few days and finally revealed what she will be doing to commemorate the big day!

She shared that she is ’’going to plant trees’’ with some of her close friends on the day. The actress does not wan to make a big deal about the big day. She said of her birthday, ’’I mean 51 is a lot less exciting than 50.’’

It should not come as a surprise that the actress wants to spend her birthday outdoors in nature considering her penchant for gardening and farming. Her green thumb led her to save her family’s farm which further led to her venture for organic baby food named Farmer Jen & the Giant Squash.

Her mother grew up on the farm, and over the years as everyone grew up and moved away, the farm did not have one set of owners. It kept switching ownership from one family member to another as it was bought and sold repeatedly. Then finally, in 2017, Jennifer Garner decided to purchase the farm herself.

And she did not just purchase the farm for the sake of memory but she had the vision to turn it into a profitable business once again. To do so, she hired her uncle Robert and aunt Janet, who had previously owned the farm to help her with it.

It had been 40 years since the farm had been planted and tended to. In the past, her mother and her siblings had been avid farmers and sold pecans as well as grew lettuce, radishes, and potatoes.

And Jennifer wanted to bring that back. She established “Once Upon a Farm” with co-founders Ari Raz, John Foraker, and Cassandra Curtis. The idea was to grow organic fruits and vegetables that could be made into nutritious food for children.

She said she had been dreaming about the project for a while, “once upon a time… we dreamed of bringing baby food back to the roots with organic fruits and veggies harvested from local farmers, blended with love and served fresh from the fridge. We dreamed of feeling less stressed about mealtimes because we could feed our little ones foods that give them all the nutrients they need – and then some!”

The project is incredibly close to her heart. The actress said about it, ’’Of anything I’ve ever done, this means the most to my mom — that her farm is being brought back to life, and it’s growing things for babies.”

While she is choosing to forgo a big celebration for her 51st birthday, the 13 Going on 30 actress threw a big bash for her 50th birthday last year. She said about her 50th birthday party, ’I basically had a wedding for myself’’ she added that she was ‘shocked’ at herself for doing so.

While her guests had a wonderful time at the birthday where they danced and had a lot of fun, she also put them to work. She wanted everyone to help her with a charity by filling 5,000 backpacks, each with enough food to feed a family of 4.

This is why so many people love Jennifer Garner, while she celebrates herself and her loved ones, she is never unaware of those who struggle and need some help. While she makes the most of her life, she also makes sure those who are less fortunate than her get some help too.
